President of the Barrière Group?

If Lan Li is not mistaken, this should be a family business, involving high-end hotels, high-end restaurants, high-end leisure and entertainment and other industries, their rise has only been a century, the main business area is still in France, and the current ruler should be the third or fourth generation.

Lan Li himself has nothing to do with the Barrière Group, but if you ask André or Arthur, you should be able to get more detailed information.

Lan Li nodded slightly, indicating understanding, "When they send party invitations later, you remember to reply to them Arthur Hall will also be coming to Cannes." Oh, André Hamilton might come over too. ”

Arthur Hall, this is Lan Li's brother.

Andy knew something about this, but this was the first time he had heard about it from Lan Li's mouth, did it mean that London's high society had finally revealed its true face for the first time? Even Andy couldn't help but chew on what he meant by these words.

"Andre was the middleman in the Madison Square Square last time. Lan Li seemed to sense Andy's thoughts, and added further.

Andy smiled meaningfully.

In the past, because of the relationship between the "burst drummer", Andy and Andre have dealt with each other many times, and after inquiring about the news in Hollywood, it is inevitable that they have heard about it, but it has never been confirmed;

"Why are you sure there's a party invitation coming up?" asked Andy curiously.

Lan Li smiled lightly and said lightly, "Because that's how connections are established." The exchange of benefits and rewards is always objective, and from this point of view, high society is no different from Hollywood. ”

Andy thought about it seriously, "To be precise, the whole society is no different. ”

"Huh. Lan Li raised his right hand and pointed at Andy, "Welcome to France." Perceiving Andy's confusion and incomprehension, Lan Li added, "When you start talking about philosophy and society, you start to become French. ”

It's a spit.

Andy chuckled.

While speaking, Lan Li and Andy leaned on the railing of the balcony, quietly admiring this bright blue, "That's right. Lan Li suddenly remembered this incident and said solemnly, "I'm sorry for the 'Burst Drummer' incident this time." ”

Andy didn't react for the first time, he was a little stunned, and looked at Lan Li's gaze seriously, and then asked tentatively, "You mean, without asking me in advance, you just nodded and agreed to appear in this work?"

Lan Li nodded in affirmation, "This is not the first time. ”

"I don't think it will be the last either. Andy's teasing tone reminded Lan Li of the conversation he had just had at the door of the private club, and he instantly felt a sense of déjà vu, and his smile couldn't help but rise slightly.

Andy also smiled, "I know what you mean, but don't worry, I don't care." At least this time. To be honest, after I watched Damien Chazelle's video clip, the first actor that came to my mind was you. I really can't think of a more suitable actor other than you. ”

Capturing the playful smile in Lan Li's eyes, Andy quickly explained, "Not only because you are my artist, but also because ...... Because Andrew is you, that character, and only you can give him a soul. You're more like Andrew than Levine Davis. I'm serious!"

Andy was concentrating on expressing his emotions, but the smile on Lan Li's face was uninterrupted, and the atmosphere of the conversation could not be serious, and it was obviously a true confession but turned into a stand-up comedy.

"Andy, so serious, so serious, it's not quite for you. You're still suitable for the Smiling Tiger route. Lan Li gave her advice seriously, "You know, it's the kind that unknowingly traps others into a trap. ”

Andy looked at Lan Li with a smile, paused for a moment, and finally didn't continue to entangle, and changed the topic on his own, "In terms of salary, we have reached a consensus. Twenty percent of the box office dividends, as a dual role as a lead actor and producer, so that we can save more budget and use it to invite other actors. ”

"Twenty percent. Lan Li raised his eyebrows slightly, "Andre is really still a businessman, I thought there would be at least thirty percent." ”

Andy was not fooled at all, and looked at Lan Li with a smile on his face, without saying anything or refutating.

Lan Li immediately knew that his prank had been discovered, but Lan Li didn't care, and changed the topic calmly, "The role of Mr. Fletcher, if you can, invite J-K-Simmones (J-K-Simmones) to play." ”

"Who?" was Andy's first reaction.

"It's the father character in the movie 'Juno', and the newspaper owner in 'Spider-Man'. The answer in Lan Li's mind naturally blurted out, sensing the confusion on Andy's face, he had to continue to explain, "He's the kind of actor in Hollywood, you can never call his name, but he is extremely familiar, and he can give a solid performance in every work, a bit like a blue-collar worker." ”

He has collaborated with Joel and Ethan on several works such as 'Burn After Reading' and 'Earth Thunder', and has starred in almost every Jason-Reitman work. However, the most impressive thing is his performance in the HBO series 'Prison Storm' early in his career, which is really outstanding. ”

Accompanied by Lan Li's explanation, Andy still didn't have any impression, "Are you serious?"

Lan Li smiled dumbly, "Yes, I'm serious. ”

Because of the appearance of Lan Li's little butterfly, the historical trajectory is changing little by little, but for the work "Burst Drummer", Lan Li always believes that Simmons is the best candidate for the role of Fletcher, not because he won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor with this role, but because he gave this character a cold and bloodthirsty atmosphere, but cold and piercing.

Hollywood has more than 400,000 actors, but not everyone can find an opportunity, let alone make it to the end. Among the actors who have successfully persevered, especially the blue-collar class, there are bound to be two handsome people. Simmons is one of them, and all he needs is a role to shine in.

After Lan Li's reconfirmation, Andy finally believed that it was not a joke, and slowly bowed his head to show that he understood, and then his smile overflowed little by little, "I knew that you were definitely suitable for this work." Not only did you take over the work of a producer, but for the first time, you took the initiative to select the actors. ”

Even for "Edge of Tomorrow", Lan Li has never interfered with the casting process.

If you think about it, it does.

But Lan Li doesn't think it's the reason for the "bursting drummer", but the timing. The change of mentality and situation has quietly changed Lan Li's vision and perspective, he is willing to open his heart to try more possibilities, and he is also willing to go out of his limitations to explore more unknowns, but "Burst Drummer" has just become this beginning.

Lan Li did not refute.

Andy could sense Lan Li's good mood, thought for a moment, and said, "Do you remember the incident you mentioned earlier? Marvel Studios is indeed in contact with Diesel right now, and if my news is correct, it should be a work called 'Guardians of the Galaxy'. ”

"But I've never heard of this group of superheroes, are you sure the plan needs to be carried out? I think this work may hit the streets, and Marvel Studios is not very confident that it doesn't need any special push, and Diesel may fail to transform. Andy spoke his mind.

In fact, the industry as a whole is not so sure.

"Iron Man", "Thor", "Captain America" can achieve relative success, the original comics have contributed to the foreshadowing, after the "Avengers" victory, everyone thinks that Marvel Studios will be the first to refine the main characters in the movie, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Hulk and so on.

But unexpectedly, Marvel Studios chose the "Guardians of the Galaxy" that no one had heard of at all, and even among loyal fans of Marvel Comics, the Guardians of the Galaxy was only a second- and third-rate minor character with a poor reputation. Everyone, including professionals from within Marvel Studios and Disney, can't help but put a question mark over the film's prospects.

"Yes, I'm sure. Lan Li replied in the affirmative, "The point is not about success or failure, but about making a statement." ”

"Understood. Andy narrowed his eyes slightly, and thought carefully, "So, in exchange, what are your thoughts? What if Disney asks you to voice a cartoon? They are working on two cartoons, and now they are in the late stage, are you interested?"

"No problem. Lan Li nodded lightly, "Dubbing is one of the basic skills on stage, although it is not what I am good at, it should be quite interesting." ”

Andy frowned slightly, always feeling a little strange, but couldn't say, "What about fairy tales? Disney is now in the process of thinking that they want to re-release a batch of cartoons into live-action films, like 'Beauty and the Beast', and then 'Cinderella', how about they?"

"Wow, do you mean Prince Charming?" Lan Li looked playful, and then nodded thoughtfully, "I think it should be an interesting experience." Play as a stupid prince. Wait, is Disney going to revise the script?"

"Well, I'm not sure, maybe I'm putting more emphasis on women. Andy hesitated to say why he felt things were going stranger.

Then I saw Lan Li savoring it for a moment, nodded and confirmed, "Then wait for the script to see, you still can't draw conclusions now, can you?"

Something is wrong, Andy always feels that something is wrong, but he can't say why, the communication is smooth and unhindered, so what's wrong?
