Xinhua Winshare Group is working on a set of self-selected works of contemporary writers, the first batch of which will publish the self-selected works of Chen Zhongzhong, Shi Tiesheng, Zhang Wei, Han Shaogong, and Wang Meng, and currently signed contracts with Xiong Zhaozheng, Wang Anyi, Zhao Mei, Fang Fang, Chi Li, Su Tong and other fellow writers, and will also consider publishing the self-selected works of Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and overseas Chinese writers in the future. Nowadays, literary creation is not gaining much momentum, and people's attention is being attracted by things that are more affordable, more convenient, faster to eat, more marketable, more consuming, and less intellectually demanding. Aging is also not conducive to the reading and promotion of literary works, because the old people firmly believe that the works they read before the age of 20 are the best, and that the books they encounter when there are no books to read are the best, just as they believe that the lover they committed to for the first time is the most beautiful. The new media often smooths out the wrinkles in the audience's brain with fun and mass, and cultivates self-righteous idiots who follow the crowd, and they are characterized by complaining about all literary classics, and they like to accept vulgar jokes.

Mencius pointed out a long time ago, "The officials of the ears and eyes do not think, but hide from things." The exchange of things is just a matter of introduction. The official of the heart thinks, thinks about it, and gets it, and if you don't think about it, you can't. He emphasized the thinking and discernment ability of the mind (now it should be "brain"), and believed that relying only on the audio-visual senses would lose one's subjectivity and spiritual acquisition. Because all spiritual analysis and harvest are inseparable from human thinking.

Of course, the eyes and ears also stimulate the driving mind, but thinking is inseparable from the symbols of language, and literature is the art of language, the art of thinking, the art of the mind and the heart, not just the feelings. No matter how many times more audiences audio-visual art can win, literature is still the foundation and the peak, and the foundation and the abyss. The importance of literature will never be outdated or diluted.

There is another problem in contemporary literature, it is difficult to reach a conclusion on "Shiwen", and Shiwen is too influenced by "Shi". When scholars do learning, they also hope that they are ancient, foreign, far, and historical relics plus hidden weapons, and they don't like to touch and sweat when they are full of words.

But after all, it is the current text that readers read the most, are most moved and emotional, and are most affected. Timely and dry, quiet, cold, sifting, Mo Jiayu published his own anthology. In this compilation, except for Wang Meng, all of them are writers who have emerged in the "new era" after the first generation, and they are basically educated young writers. Educated young writers also have a creative process of about 30 years and nearly 10 million words of creative achievements. Decades later, the selection of tens of millions of words has shaken off a lot of temporary bubbles, has withstood the test of rapid changes and not without divergent tides, and can select things that have not been eliminated, which is a contribution to publishing and to readers. Taking the first batch of authors as an example, Chen Zhongzhong's works are rooted in his hometown and face the historical reality. Shi Tiesheng's physical misfortune has created his compassion, deep inquiry, blue yellow spring, vibrating and transparent, deep and quiet. Zhang Wei's devotion and pursuit of novels are incomparable, local customs, philosophical considerations, and human anatomy, consistent and never slackened. Han Shaogong is a good hand with speculative ability, also narrating and thinking, depicting and decomposing, his spiritual space and literary space crisscross the ancient and modern times, which can be chewed and worth recalling. My self-selection is also among the brothers, learning from the youth, the clouds are light and the wind is clear, the flowers are with the willows, and they are still not aging, what is the joy?

I have been fascinated by Pushkin's poems since I began writing more than 60 years ago:

I erected a non-artificial monument for myself,

…… So I can always be close to the people,

I have used poetry to arouse people's kind feelings,

Freedom was sung in cruel times,

Pray for forgiveness and compassion for those who have fallen.

…… Neither fears reproach, nor desires laurels,

Praise and slander are tolerated calmly,

When I read the anthology of literary friends, I remembered Pushkin's poem "Monument". Every pious writer picks up his pen with a holy **. They all hope to build a monument worthy of looking back for the times and the people. Of course, if you don't dare to call this collection of self-selected works already a Pushkin-style monument, then it would be good to call it a signpost stone. Decades have passed, and there are finally a few stones poked there, recording time and mileage, remembering hope and struggle, as well as infinite love and cherishment for life and literature. They prolong the memory, expand the heart, deepen the concern and blessing, and also provide all friends and non-friends, evoking the flavors of their own lives.
