Chapter Thirty-Six: A Part of Snape's Body
For the next few days, Jon Hart had been thinking about the plan.
How do you remove a hair from Snape, or a piece of tissue from him?
But all the plans were rejected by him one by one, because the risks were too great......
Snape was an excellent potions master, and he probably knew more about the "Polyjuice Potion" than he thought.
Want to steal a part of his body?
Strictly speaking, it's not impossible...... But as long as he shows a little bit of hindsight, I am afraid that he will find out and guess the existence of the polyjuice potion, and the relationship between Snape and Dumbledore may have to go to Dumbledore's office in an hour to "talk".
That's just stealing chickens and rice, and it will collapse directly.
All the options that came to mind were quickly rejected by Jon.
But it's not completely impossible!
Jon thought about it, and there was another way to do it...... It's just a bit of a hassle.
But that's the safest way to go.
He took out a pen and paper and wrote a letter.
The letter was addressed to Mr. Robert Wilson, owner of the hardware store at 21 Winchester Road in Southampton, and Jon, in the name of Varian Ureon, asked Mr. Wilson to help him buy something.
and sent to Hogwarts High School for receipt by Mr. Hart of Hufflepuff House.
......
Almost a week later, the owl appeared in the dining room with large boxes on his shoulder, and threw them to Jon.
"Who the hell sent you so many things?" asked Zacharis, curious.
"It's just a little knack for people who don't know magic......," Jon said vaguely, "a relative of mine sent it to me!"
However, whenever he received the email, Jon would find an opportunity to rush to the Room of Request on the eighth floor of the castle and install the things.
All the while waiting for an opportunity to get close to Snape.
......
During a potions class at the end of January 1993.
Snape spent an afternoon teaching them how to concoct a potion called a "Sleeping Potion".
Jon and Astoria were the first in the class to complete the configuration, and Snape was the last to judge them both, as usual...... In order to prevent the agent from volatilizing, he deliberately closed the lid of the crucible.
As usual, Snape criticized almost every student in the class.
It was just as he was about to end his class when he turned his attention to Jon and Astoria in the first row.
Striding over, he reached out and opened the cauldron.
Looking at the clear blue liquid in the crucible, he just nodded slightly.
In more than half a semester of Potions class, Jon and Astoria have barely missed, and he has become accustomed to it.
Without saying a word, Snape prepared to reclose the lid of the cauldron......
"Professor, let me come!" Jon said quickly, holding out his hand.
At this moment, the spatula in his hand scraped lightly on the back of Snape's hand.
"I'm sorry, Professor......" Jon stood up in a panic.
Snape withdrew his hand with a cold expression, the touch was very light, and there was no bleeding, only a faint white mark.
"Sit down!" Snape gave him a cold glance and ordered, "Mr. Hart, didn't I tell you that after any potions are configured, the knives must be withdrawn?"
"I'm so sorry...... I just forgot......" Jon quickly sat down and explained.
"Hufflepuff deducts five points!"
"Now, ...... after class"
......
"What the hell did you just think...... It was unbelievable that Professor Snape had only deducted five points...... I thought you were going to be locked up......" As soon as Snape left the classroom, Astoria hurriedly leaned over and said with a closed face.
"Sorry, I was a little distracted. Jon smiled wryly, carefully tucking the spatula into a crystal bottle filled with red liquid.
"Are you going to the restaurant together?" Astoria asked quietly, glancing around.
"No, I've got something to do!" Jon hurriedly packed up his things and hurried to the eighth floor of the castle.
......
The troll stick on the eighth floor of Hogwarts Castle hits the opposite side of Barnabas's tapestry.
"I need an ice vault...... I need an ice vault......" Jon, who had already reached the place of the Room of Requirement, silently said to himself.
He walked through that section of the wall three times, and when the brass-colored handle appeared on the wall, he quickly pushed the door in.
Now the Room is full of ice...... A few cases of rum were placed in a pile of ice, and it was clear that he wasn't the only one who had arrived here.
Jon shuddered, then ran to his left-hand side, removed a large block of ice, and took out the jars and jars hidden inside:
DMEM cell culture medium;
Gibco fetal bovine serum;
PBS buffer;
Kanamycin;
Ampicillin ......
These were the reagents that Jon had ordered for him to get rid of Mr. Wilson.
Vials after vials of biological reagents were taken out by Jon, along with a box of ice cubes.
Since it is too risky and difficult to blatantly take a part of Snape's body, he can only sacrifice his old job...... Snape's cells were cultured by laboratory methods.
As these reagents were removed one by one, the whole Room of Requirement began to change dramatically!
Little by little, the ice disappears, and then the Room of Requirement becomes a greenhouse that is maintained at around 37 degrees...... This is the most suitable temperature for cell growth.
There were also some instruments in the hut that Jon had ordered and secretly brought over the other day.
Including microscope, centrifuge, incubator...... After a few days of Jon's efforts, it had become a rudimentary microbiology lab.
There is also a small diesel generator.
Jon carefully removed Snape's epithelial cells that he had collected earlier, which he had secretly scraped on Snape's hand with a spatula.
As soon as he collected it, he placed it in the medium (the liquid in the crystal bottle before).
Carefully centrifuge the medium at 800 g to remove the supernatant, and then re-add the medium and serum to the cells.
Because there was no way to guarantee sterility, Jon had to add a thousandth of an antibiotic to the culture medium.
After a period of simple processing......
Finally, Jon carefully placed the bottle in the incubator.
Leaving the Room of Requirement, he just wants everything to go well!
