Chapter 0022 Five Eyes and Six Divine Powers Cause and effect are closely linked

Back in Lingzhou, Cui Ning thought about Master Zong Hui, who was well versed in the world but didn't ask about it, and some of the gains from Lingguang Temple this time, and then opened the thread-bound book given by Master Zong Hui.

Although it is a thread-bound book, many places have been annotated and translated, and I don't know if it is the translation of Master Zong Hui or other masters.

This is a Buddhist book, or Buddhist text, but there are also many other religions such as Taoist ideas and even modern thinking in the translation and commentary, mainly about the "five eyes and six divine powers" and "cause and effect" in the legend of the Dragon Kingdom.

Moreover, the person who commented on it obviously had cultivated some supernatural powers, so there were many cultivation experiences in the commentary, which made Cui Ning benefit very much.

There is such a record in the Buddhist scriptures. One of the disciples of Venerable Ananda wanted to learn the Heavenly Eye, and Venerable Ananda taught him.

Who knew that this person did everything possible to cultivate the Heavenly Eye, and then turned his back on the Buddha and entered the demon, causing a bad impact. After this incident, almost all the records of supernatural cultivation methods were deleted from the scriptures of the Sutra and Esoteric Sects.

It can be seen that if you don't really cultivate the Buddha and attain the Buddha's truth, you will only pursue the supernatural powers. Even if you learn supernatural powers, you will fall into a state of no return because of all kinds of delusions in your heart, and you will corrupt the Buddha's teachings.

This is also the reason why almost all the scriptures of the Sutra and Esoteric sects have removed the cultivation of supernatural powers. Cultivating supernatural powers alone cannot achieve positive results if you have entered the outer path, but supernatural powers are not impossible to find.

It is often said that "the Dharma is boundless", which means that in addition to the infinite wisdom and compassion at the ultimate level of liberation of life, it is also a metaphor for the mysterious and powerful supernatural powers.

Looking at the text, as well as the notes, and then the big words "Buddha is destined for people", each word seems to have great energy.

Continue to read, it is a detailed introduction and interpretation of the "Five Eyes and Six Divine Powers" -

The Dharma supernatural powers are generally divided into five eyes and six paths. The five eyes are the naked eye, the heavenly eye, the wisdom eye, the Dharma eye, and the Buddha's eye; the six links are the heavenly eye, the heavenly ear, the other heart, the fate, the divine foot, and the leakage.

The naked eye is the flesh of a mortal man. See near but not far, see before but not behind, see outside but not inside, see day but not night, see up but not down. Because of this obstacle, I seek the eye of heaven.

Note: The naked eye can see everything that is visible without concealment or obstacle.

People with strong visual skills can see the glow outside other people's bodies when they open their eyes, that is, the human body field, which can be comparable to the world's most advanced cameras.

It's just a pity that the sentient beings nowadays are not only mortal with the naked eye, but also do not distinguish between right and wrong, so many people have become blind, and this is the retribution of not distinguishing between right and wrong.

The eye of heaven is the eye of heaven and man. It can be seen from far and near, front and back, inside and outside, day and night, up and down. However, although we see the pseudonymous things that arise from the causes and conditions of harmony, we do not see the reality, so we seek discernment in order to obtain the reality.

Note: The Eye of Heaven can see what is visible without concealment or obstacle, and visible with concealment and obstacle. For example, the evil spirits and ghosts in folklore.

The discerning eye is the eye of the shravaka (arhat) and the edge of the consciousness (the Buddha of the Buddha). can see through the illusion, recognize the vacuum, and not be confused by the situation. Seeing that all living beings are exhausted, they destroy a different appearance, abandon all things, are not subject to all laws, and wisdom is self-extinguishing. However, there is no distinction between the discerning eye, and it cannot save sentient beings, so it seeks the Dharma eye.

Exegesis:

Discerning eyes can see everything that is visible and invisible, visible and intangible. For example, the legendary spirit.

There are four types of eye discernment: multi-eye, eye analysis, eye chasing, and eye prediction.

Multi-eyed means that things are three-dimensional, and can see from all directions and directions. Reflected in society and thinking, it is to deliberately think about problems from multiple angles, so as not to be blinded by reality and defeated by setbacks.

Eye analysis refers to being able to analyze, to know at a glance what it is and what it means. People with this ability tend to be full of wisdom and do things without fail.

Eye-chasing refers to being able to trace the past, to be able to trace what has happened to be like, and to be able to know why things have happened.

For example, a bowl can be traced back to a few years ago, and a pile of dirt can be seen somewhere, and if you see a doctor, you can not only see the existence of the disease, but also see the medical history, and see the ins and outs of the past. The so-called god operator is this kind of person.

Foresight refers to the ability to foresee the future, to see what has not happened in the future, or to take out the final result, and to see the quantitative change process of things with effort.

The so-called masters of the folk, as well as the legendary Jiang Ziya, Li Chunfeng, Yuan Tiangang, Zhuge Liang, Liu Bowen and others, are all strange people with the function of discerning (pre-eye). However, keep in mind that "the secret of heaven must not be revealed", otherwise it will disturb the order of heaven and earth, and you will suffer from it.

The Dharma eye is the eye of the bodhisattva (above the primordial ground). It can penetrate all the methods of the world and the world, and widely practice the truth and righteousness of the middle way.

Let this person practice this method, obtain this way, know that all sentient beings have their own convenient doors, and make them gain the Tao certificate (that is, knowing what method someone can practice to achieve, then use what method to save him).

However, we can't know all sentient beings and facilitate the way, so we seek the Buddha's eyes. The Dharma eye can see the truth of all the Dharma as it is, and the truth is the truth as it is, or true and unchanging, and it is the true nature of the Dharma Realm.

Exegesis:

The Dharma eye is the ability to change the space-time position of an object, to distort the object or to change the state of affairs, or to be able to copy a new object. The Dharma Eye can also be divided into several levels.

Small handling. Displacement of small objects, stopping rain or removing leaves from trees and sending them back, etc. In modern times, many of the masters of ancient color tricks are actually people with this ability.

Medium handling. Including calling for wind and rain, fixing, etc. The Journey to the West records Sun Wukong's immobilization technique, which refers to this ability.

Large handling. It can move mountains and change scenery, scorch objects, stop animal hearts, take off in the air, etc. Of course, there are taboo rules in the world for the spell of the Great Transport, and it is strictly forbidden to use it for personal gain, or even to perform, otherwise you will receive the punishment of order.

Escape technique, wall penetration, fire, water, deformation, resurrection, rejuvenation, idea grafting, replication function, etc., can all be classified at the level of the Dharma eye.

Including the legendary immortals in the Dragon Kingdom, it refers to people who have the level of Dharma Eye.

Buddha's Eye: It is the eye of the Buddha.

The Buddha's eyes do not hear anything, do not see anything, do not know anything, do not know anything, have nothing to embarrass about, have nothing to think, and in all the Dharma, the Buddha's eyes are always shining.

Note: With the Buddha's eye, there are four types of eyes. The Buddha's eyes can illuminate the good roots planted by all sentient beings, and can see all the inconceivable truths of the Dharma that are not empty or existent.

The Buddha's eyes don't need to look (don't look with the eyes, don't even think with the subjective consciousness, everything is natural), as long as you pass by somewhere, you can naturally correct the things that should be corrected, and the etiquette is clear.

The Buddha can randomly say the Dharma according to his supernatural wisdom, and sincerely point out that everyone has a Buddha nature, and anyone who follows the Buddhist method and cultivates unremittingly can eventually become a Buddha and reach a nirvana state of omniscience, omnipotence, non-birth and eternal happiness like all Buddhas.

The six supernatural powers, the heavenly eye, the heavenly ear, the heart, the fate, the divine foot, and the leakage.

According to the twenty-seventh volume of the Kusha Treatise, the first five of the above six paths can also be obtained by ordinary people, but the sixth pass can only be obtained by the saints.

"The Treatise on Great Wisdom" Volume 28: As it is said in the Zen Sutra, first get the eyes of heaven, see all living beings without hearing their voices, so seek the ears of heaven. Since he has the eyes and ears of heaven, he knows the body shape and sound of all living beings, and does not understand all kinds of joys and sorrows in language, so there is no hindrance to his wisdom when he asks for words.

Exegesis:

Shenzutong: It refers to the ability to realize at will, the body can fly in the mountains and seas, and all actions are barrier-free. With a person with divine feet, everything can do whatever he wants, such as drilling into the sky, moving mountains and seas, scattering beans into soldiers, calling for wind and rain, and driving clouds and fog are not a problem. It is also called wishful thinking, that is, the power of wishful thinking.

There are three types of wishful thinking (great convenience):

Yes. Including: the body can fly, like a bird without hindrance, move far and near, do not come, there is no other, and a thought can come.

Shift. That is, the great can make small, and the small can become great, and one can become many, and many can become one, and all kinds of things can be transformed. The transformation of the outer path is only seven days, and the transformation of the Buddhas and their disciples is close to freedom.

Holy Ruyi. That is, the unlovely and impure things that can be contemplated by the six dusts are pure, and the lovely and pure things that are contemplated are impure. This method of holy wishful thinking is unique to the Buddha.

Tianyantong: It refers to the freedom to see all the shapes and colors of the world, as well as the sufferings and joys of all beings in the six realms. You can see the life and death of all beings.

Heavenly Ear Communication: It refers to the ability to freely hear all kinds of sounds in the world, as well as all the bitter and happy words of sentient beings in the six realms. You can hear sounds that ordinary people can't hear.

He has a clear mind: It refers to knowing what is in the minds of sentient beings in the six realms. Be able to know the psychological dynamics and changes of the other party.

Fate: It refers to the fate of being able to know one's own one's own one's own one's first life, two lifetimes, and even millions of lifetimes, as well as the fate of sentient beings in the six realms. Tianyantong can know the future life and death, and fate can know the past life and death, with Tianyantong and fate, you can know the past and the future. Able to know the passage of society, the changes of things, and the unpredictable prophet.

Leakage: can cut off all troubles and control their minds. Leakage is another name for afflictions, and afflictions such as greed, hatred, and stupidity are all called leaks. Afflictions are the confusion of the Three Realms, which means that they are free from the birth and death of the Three Realms.

After the above five paths are complete, the mind will be clear, the troubles and karma will be eliminated, the enlightenment will be complete, and the wisdom will be obtained without leakage. With the first five passes, you can't jump out of the cycle of birth and death, and you have to be reincarnated after death, and only when you have the leakage can you transcend the cycle of life and death and enter the realm of nirvana.

This can only be attained by practicing according to the Buddhist method, and no other foreign way can reach this state.

The relationship between the five eyes and the six links: the heavenly eye and the heavenly ear can be attributed to the level of the heavenly eye, the heart and fate can be attributed to the level of the wisdom eye, the divine foot can be attributed to the Dharma eye, and the leakage is attributed to the Buddha's eye.

Because supernatural powers are naturally available after cultivating to a certain level, especially after becoming a Buddha, they have all the incredible supernatural powers.

Therefore, from the very beginning, Buddhism has been resolutely opposed to the practice of attaining supernatural powers, because it is not only contrary to the true goal of the Dharma, but also more likely to go mad, and because there are also various supernatural powers in the outer paths, so that the Dharma is a game or taken away by other teachings, and ultimately runs counter to the path of liberation.

Therefore, the origin of everything lies in "cultivating the mind", in "mindfulness and karma", that is, in modern society, "doing something and not doing something".

Cui Ning has a better understanding of the achievements of modern science, as well as the achievements of modern physics and quantum physics, plus his special physical ability, so he has his own understanding of the five eyes and six divine powers.

The relativity of space-time has been proven by the development of science, such as Einstein's theory of relativity, which proves that the properties of space-time change with the change of the speed of motion of the object, that is, when the object moves at a speed close to the speed of light, the length of space along the direction of motion of the object will be shortened, and the time duration of the internal change process of the object will be extended.

If the speed is equal to the speed of light, space disappears and time stands still, while at the speed of light, particles are converted into waves, and time can be reversed, so that people can be rejuvenated and go back to the past. Alien flying saucers will fly superluminatically, so they can be invisible at any time.

As for the second half of the book, there are many stories and records about cause and effect, both in folk and historical books.
