Chapter 239: D.A. (3rd Update)
PS: Last month's 1800 monthly pass was added
At 8:10 a.m., Christopher Patrick arrived at the door of Professor Dolores Umbridge's office on the fourth floor.
He knocked lightly on the door, only to hear a sweet voice shouting from inside, "Please come in!"
This was probably the third time Jon had entered the office.
More than two years ago, when he was a first-year Hufflepuff freshman...... I once came here and learned a secret from Professor Gilderoy Lockhart. In those days when Gilderoy Lockhart lived, the walls were plastered with pictures of himself smiling.
Then there was Professor Remus-Lupin, but Jon didn't know him very well, so he didn't come to this teacher in his second year.
The impostor Professor Alastor Moody was also not very familiar with Jon, although Jon had accompanied Dumbledore into the office a few months earlier at the end of his third year...... At the time, the room was filled with all sorts of dark magic detection tools, as well as the cauldron that Fake Moody'd used to make Polyjuice Potion.
But now, this room has changed drastically from a few months ago.
Everything was covered with a tablecloth with lace, and several vases filled with dried flowers, each on a separate small cushion. On one wall hung a set of decorative plates, most of which featured a brightly colored kitten with a different bow around its neck (the same as Umbridge's own), and a few were empty.
The kittens' eyes were focused on Jon as the office door opened, and they let out a "meow, meow, meow......" sound.
"Good morning!" Professor Dolores Umbridge, who was sitting at his desk, looked up and asked softly, "May I ask who you are...... What's the matter?
She wore a flaming red printed robe, the color of which blended in with the tablecloth on the desk behind her.
"I'm Christopher Patrick, a fourth-year Slytherin student, Professor Umbridge......" Jon quickly replied.
"Oh, okay, wait a minute!" Umbridge nodded politely and smilingly to Jon.
Then she waved her wand, and a small copy flew out of the desk and a thick stack of papers, and flew in front of Umbridge.
Umbridge read the document carefully—
Christopher Patrick...... Exchange student ...... from Durmstrang He was expelled for abusing black magic many times in Durmstrang ...... Transfer to Beauxbatons ......," Umbridge whispered.
She looked up, her eyes becoming much gentler, "Mr. Patrick, it turns out that your aunt is Lady Bathilda Basshat, a famous historian of magic in the wizarding world?"
Jon was stunned, then nodded hurriedly, "Yes, that's right!"
"Is Ms. Bassat well?" said Umbridge, with an amiable expression.
"Very good...... Jon replied stiffly.
Luckily, Umbridge didn't ask any more questions, and she looked into Jon's eyes with a noticeable smile...... Then she continued, "What's the matter?"
"Professor Umbridge, this is the case, I just saw the contents of Education Order 24......" Jon explained, "Every organization or club needs your approval, right?"
"Yes!"
"Some of our senior students at Slytherin House formed a small group some time ago...... Jon continued, "The main activity is relatively simple, get together and learn the new instructions of the Ministry of Magic...... It's all the children of families who are loyal to the Ministry of Magic......"
“...... Like Draco Malfoy, Pansy Parkinson and Tiffany Selwyn, to name a few......"
Jon didn't say a name, and noticed that Umbridge's eyelids would jump slightly.
"We are all very supportive of you and the Ministry of Magic in their purification of Hogwarts, and we all agree that the current situation at Hogwarts is in dire need of change......"
"I'm convinced of that!" Umbridge nodded, "Mr. Malfoy, Ms. Parkinson, and Mr. Selwyn have always been very, very supportive of the cause of the Ministry of Magic!"
"Yes, Draco's idea was his father's suggestion!" Jon nodded his head, "So, we're eager to make a small contribution to your work and the work of the Ministry of Magic...... We want to play for you and make Hogwarts better!"
"Well, giggle!" Umbridge covered her mouth and smiled in a girly voice, "Welcome, welcome...... I think I'm at Hogwarts and just need some reliable students to be helpers!"
......
With little effort, Jon seems to have gained Umbridge's trust.
On the one hand, in the eyes of the Ministry of Magic, the old Malfoy, a Death Eater, is almost Fudge's most loyal supporter.
On the other hand, his new identity now seems to have made some difference...... Bathilda Basshata is, after all, a world-renowned expert on the history of magic, a big man, and Umbridge also takes Jon a little more seriously for this.
Next, they began to discuss what would be the best name for the new organization.
Umbridge suggested that the group be named the "Investigative Action Team" to monitor the behavior of Hogwarts teachers and students.
Jon disagreed, "Professor Umbridge, how about I think this organization is named after you?"
"Oh?" Umbridge furrowed.
"How about calling it the Dolores Aid Association as a sign of our support for you?" Jon suggested
"We can call ourselves Dolores's Aid, or the Dolores Association......" Jon continued, "and if that's short, it's called."
"Nice name!" Umbridge nodded as she seemed satisfied.
Then she took out a piece of parchment and wrote "." Two letters...... Then give it to Jon and ask him to fill in the members of the Order.
......
"Patrick, I think I need you, members, do me the first favor?" Umbridge whispered after deciding on the name and members.
"Say it!" Jon nodded hurriedly.
"That madman Moody...... Your Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher...... I think he may have had an unusual relationship with Dumbledore, or he may have played an important role in Dumbledore's plans!" Umbridge said with a serious face, "As long as Cornelius allows, I'm ready to do something to him!"
