Chapter 123: The Trace of the Inhuman
Daisy Johnson feels as if she's out of luck, because she feels like things are out of her control after the old factory's abilities exploded, first of all, the sudden appearance of the Nightkin who uses a special ability to close himself off.
The total darkness of the black realm made it impossible for the shockwaves she emitted to penetrate, though she did want to stop at first, as Professor Eric and Gwen might be accidentally injured by herself.
But then she realizes that something is wrong, because she seems to have been caught by the Nightkin She doesn't know what the Nightkin is trying to do, but in any way, Daisy doesn't want to be caught.
Because she has many, many secrets in her head, many of which cannot be easily told, Daisy will not choose to cooperate with the Nightkin whether he has malicious intentions or not, as long as he shows that he wants to probe his thoughts or investigate his own tendencies.
But she underestimated the Nightcrawler a little, and Li Jie didn't need to beat around the bush to deal with this kind of thing, because of the presence of Professor Charles, there were very few people in this world who could keep their inner secrets in front of him.
It was clear that Daisy Johnson did not belong to that minority, so her mind, no matter how tightly guarded, was still stripped of her armor, and many things began to come to Professor Charles's eyes.
……………………
Seventeen years ago.
The street is dim, the lights are dim, and the lights are on and off, as if the voltage is unstable and ready to trip at any time. A young girl is looking for something in a small alley.
She is cautious, like a hamster, she up her ears and listens carefully to the wind and grass around her, whenever there is anything unusual around her, she will immediately find a place to hide, and even her movements are very similar to that of a hamster.
And it was in this cautious advance that she found her destination in the alley, the window vent of a warehouse half-buried underground.
The vents were tiny, small enough to accommodate a child as big as hers, and maybe that's why she chose to enter the warehouse here, because no one would find out.
A warehouse that is only opened a few times a month is a good shelter for a little girl, so that she can have a place to stay.
But when she entered the warehouse today, the girl smelled something unusual. As a little guy who is as careful as a hamster, any unfamiliar smell is dangerous for her.
She wanted to get out of here right away, but just as the girl turned around and was about to leave, the ventilation duct she had been in had been sealed.
"It's really not easy to find you." The warehouse lights were turned on, illuminating the otherwise dark warehouse, and a one-eyed black man with an eyepatch stood in front of the girl.
But that smile didn't seem like a symbol of friendliness to the little girl, but more like a wolf's ill-intentioned smile at its prey.
Well, Nick swears to God, it's already his most sincere smile, and it's harder to make him smile brighter than to kill him.
The little girl wanted to escape, but how could she have escaped Nick, who had been waiting for him? The other party was the top agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. His abilities were not at all comparable to that of a little girl.
The little girl is eventually caught by Nick, but there is no expression on her stubborn little face, just staring at Nick Fury coldly, as if he were a hateful child trafficker.
"Don't look at me, kid, I'm not a bad person." Nick smiled wryly.
"Kidnapping a seven-year-old girl, you tell me you're not a bad person?" The little girl speaks very well and has a maturity that does not belong to her age.
"If you let me go now, I can promise not to call the police. You look very recognizable, I can easily complete your face puzzle at the police station. You will be wanted in the whole United States!"
Nick Fury's brows furrowed as he heard this, and he had a feeling of nausea eating flies.
"Son, I said it, I'm not a bad person, I've wasted a lot of effort trying to find you, and since you're so smart, you should know why I'm looking for you." Nick grabbed the girl's arm and said.
"I don't know!" The girl stubbornly tries to break free from Nick's grasp, but Nick cries tightly.
"Well, then let me tell you, because of your father, Dr. Hyde! I think you know why, he's now our most wanted criminal, and his experiments have turned him into a terrible monster. He used to be a good scientist, but now he's a monster."
Nick's statement that the little girl's father is a monster clearly causes her resentment, and she glares at Nick Fury viciously.
"Like it or not, kid.I'm going to have to take you before your father finds you.He can't control himself now. There's a good chance he's going to hurt you.You need better discipline.Daisy, don't look at me like that.I know your name."
Little Daisy was still staring at Nick viciously.
Nick Fury was a little helpless, taking care of children and coaxing children was not his forte. He could only tell the truth to Daisy, "I'm an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., if you've heard our name from your father before. He used to work for us.We're now obligated to take care of you if you lose your guardian."
"You'd better go back with me now, you can't wander outside anymore, it's not good for you, you need to get an education." Nick thinks he's said enough.
If it weren't for the fact that he was directly in charge of Dr. Hyde's affairs, he really didn't want to spend so much time on this kind of thing.
But just as he was about to forcibly take little Daisy away, little Daisy suddenly said, "Don't worry about me!
Little Daisy's words made Nick stunned: "What are they? What are you talking about? Who are they referring to?" Nick had a bad feeling that things were out of his control.
And just as Nick Fury was asking about Daisy, his hand was accidentally straining, which hurt Daisy.
Little Daisy, as if stimulated by something, her little face wrinkled like a bun, and then a slight shock wave came out of her, and this shock wave shook Nick's hand.
Nick looked at Daisy with some surprise, "You're a mutant?"
Little Daisy raised her head proudly: "No! I'm not a mutant!"
"Damn, could it be that Hyde injected you with his experimental serum too?!" Nick is somewhat skeptical about the source of Daisy's abilities.
"I was born!" Little Daisy still looks like a little proud: "I was born different, I'm the same as them! They're going to pick me up, I don't belong here!"
Nick was a little puzzled, this was the second time he had heard the word [they], and who did [they] represent?
"Maybe I can answer your confusion, Acting Director of S.H.I.E.L.D., MR. NICK Fury." An electronically synthesized voice appears behind Nick Fury.
Nick Fury immediately turned around in alarm, and pulled his pistol out of his bosom and went into a state of alertness, and he turned around to see a sturdy man standing behind him.
He looked very young, only in his twenties, and he was dressed in a black jumpsuit, and he had a very special device on his throat through which his voice seemed to come out.
The young man saw where Nick was looking, and he pointed to the vocalization device on his throat and said in his synthesizer voice, "I'm sorry, but for some reason I can't speak freely, unless I don't mind destroying the Earth completely."
Nick didn't care what he was making a sound with, he cared more about who the other person was and what he was doing, "Well, sir. If you're so polite, you don't mind telling me your name and your intentions. Why did you take Daisy? I'm her guardian in a legal sense."
Although Nick Fury is very polite, his gun is always pointed at the other person, and he doesn't trust the other person very much.
The young man spread his hands to show that he had no ill intentions: "If you were to ask my name, my name would be Blackcard, but more people would call me King Black Bolt.
Young Black Bolt looked at Nick with a smile.
PS: I made some adaptations of Daisy's story, which is Skye, because I wasn't going to insert the plot of this TV series, so I intercepted some of the comics and TV series settings, and then re-adapted them all, so that the story could go on more mellowly.
Again, this book is a parallel universe of Marvel's starting point Apple.
