Chapter 329: Contact of the First Kind

The California wilderness at night is quiet with twinkling stars. In the wild, except for a few bison, there is only the occasional group of gerbils that walk past the feet of bison.

Reed is once again in the underground biome. The birth of this place was an accident, and Reed first discovered it because of tracking meteorites that fell from outside the sky.

It was discovered during the search for meteorites, a completely enclosed and self-contained place. And the fallen meteorite seems to contain some kind of microorganism or something, perhaps a spores with super purification powers.

They quickly adapted to the environment and began to thrive here. In the early days, only a few single-celled organisms could be found here. But today, in just a few years, fungal creatures, aquatic arthropods, etc. have evolved here.

How long did it take for the paramecium to evolve from the first small fish on Earth? a million years or two million years? Reed shook his head, he really couldn't bear to destroy this place.

The creatures here are evolving so fast that you can really feel it. Maybe you can really see the supernatural evolution of a civilized ecosphere.

But today, both Doom and Susan have been opposed to keeping the ecosystem. Especially Doom, Reed said: "If it doesn't work, we'll turn it over to the state!"

Doom scoffed: "Leave it to the state, let a group of guys who are slower to react and more politically oriented to run this place? I'm afraid it will be an even more terrible disaster, are you too much of a man in black, or do you really think that the government has a police detective codenamed [J]?"

Destroying this place is the best explanation for the earth. A group of species that don't know what kind of species they will become in the future suddenly rush to the ground one day and compete with humans and the earth's acoustic creatures for dominance of the earth. Then Reed, who started this evolutionary crisis, is the culprit.

Reed is not a disobedient person, in fact, he has just been hot-headed all these years. Blinded by the possible Nobel Prize in Biology.

However, in today's argument with Doom, Reed found himself as if he had gotten into a bull's horn. He sighed, then looked at the potion in his hand, a life-boosting potion, a locking potion.

Even if it's going to destroy this place, at least let me try the power of these potions. I'm glad I've been studying it for so long. Reed had already made his decision, and he pulled the seal on the catalytic potion.

…………………………

Captain Skrull and his crew have taken advantage of the shapeshifting properties of the Skruls to transform themselves into the region's indigenous creatures, some kind of small rodents (gerbils). Then he followed Reed to the underground biome.

This was an attempt at biosphere evolution in a semi-enclosed state, and the captain breathed a sigh of relief. In this way, it can be understood, it seems that although this earth civilization is very high, and an ordinary student can conduct experiments on ecosphere evolution, it has not yet reached the state of that desperate god-level civilization.

It seems that the earth's civilization is still at the level of a first-level civilization above some scientific levels, but some technologies have also reached the level of the Skrulls. This is really a civilization that has developed by leaps and bounds! Captain Skrull made his own judgment, but it is difficult to say whether it is right or wrong.

It should be said that the "Men in Black" screened by Susan seriously deviated from the captain's thinking. He still thinks it's a non-fiction documentary.

However, even if it is only a semi-closed biosphere evolutionary study, the captain feels that the civilization level of this planet is very high. Especially when their mutated gerbils were near the underground pond and they saw arthropods that seemed to be the larvae of the xenomorphic hug.

The Skrulls almost turned back to their original form in fright. The adjutant whispered to the captain in a trembling tone: "Strange...... I've seen it, I've seen it! It's a larva of an alien!"

The captain was also taken aback: "How is it possible?!Shouldn't all these things be destroyed? Obviously, the Nova Legion has wiped out all the aliens." Even if there are some residual aliens, they have been expelled to negative space to fight to the death with the Zerg, why are there still these things here?!"

Xenomorphs are famous in the universe, and these things are difficult to kill and can survive in a vacuum. The only purpose is to breed and kill. I don't know if this thing evolved naturally or if it was made by a mad scientist. But it has brought great harm to the universe for tens of millions of years.

The Skrulls have all been made to death by aliens, and several alien invasions and insect tides have caused the empire to almost disintegrate. So even though it's a piece of history, many Skrulls still can't forget it.

Aliens, in particular, are a type of creature that must be learned in the Skrruls' studies. And a kill order was issued, and any Skrulls who saw the xenomorph and its larvae were obligated to kill it. If you don't have the ability to kill it, report it to the Empire-Army, and the Army will go to encircle and suppress it.

And what does the captain see on Earth now? A student actually breeds aliens in the scientific design of his graduation defense? The captain doesn't believe that earthlings don't know aliens, because this thing is very well-known in the universe. Since this civilization has communicated with so many alien civilizations (from the misleading Men in Black movie), then they must know about the aliens. This one is listed as the most dangerous creature in the universe.

And knowing the danger of aliens, they still have to raise face-hugging insects, what do these natives of the earth want to do? The captain suddenly felt that the earth was more dangerous than he imagined.

He hesitated a little, should he kill these three natives, and then replace their natives and blend into the life of the earth? Anyway, let him be Reed, and then continue to raise face-hugging insects, he would never dare. Raising this thing is like looking for death.

Little did Reed know that his own little pet had scared a group of battle-hardened Skrulls. Of course, Reed also knows the alien, but he knows it from the big Hollywood movies.

The Alien series of movies is very popular on Earth and is a very good monster movie. But if there really are aliens in the universe, and not the screenwriters invented them, then how did the people who conceived this monster know about the aliens?

Reed didn't know how complicated it was all about, though, because he was about to start using the Booster now. Dr. Reid put on a hazmat suit and a mask, and activated the fully enclosed door in the dark.

He turned the semi-enclosed space into a completely enclosed space, and Reed stood on the outside of the enclosed space and put the potion into the vaporization device. Let the potion vaporize and mix into the air of the enclosed space, so that the creatures inside will begin to evolve faster.

Captain Skrull's party who had turned gerbils wanted to come in and find out, especially to take a closer look at the living habits of the three natives, so that they could continue to live in their place after they were killed.

They were still trembling with fear from the alien face-hugging insects just now, and they hadn't recovered yet. Reed suddenly sealed the place off completely, not giving them time to react at all.

This was followed by the introduction of the inducing agent. The infusion of the catalytic is like dripping cold water into a pot of hot oil. In an instant, the entire ecosystem exploded. Some fungal plants begin to change at a rate that is visible to the naked eye.

The insect-like arthropods in the water also began to become frantic and squeaked.

The tentacles of the arthropods happened to be in the middle of the group of gerbils, and the gerbils turned into Skurulls instantly thought of the terrifying images of the aliens in those historical documentaries, even the face-hugging insects were extremely ferocious.

They are now gerbils and are powerless to resist the huggers. During this fright, the first Skrull reverted to his own Skrull form. He pointed at the arthropods in horror and said, "Hold ...... They're getting active! They're going to be adults, they're starting to multiply!"

Fear is contagious, and the first Skrull regained form, followed by the second, the third, and the fourth. Eventually, all the Skrulls were no longer able to maintain their shapeshifting form.

Reed, who had been standing outside the closed door and had been observing the inside through the small window, was suddenly stunned.

What's going on? Is your own catalytic potion so effective? Is it that these creatures have evolved for hundreds of millions of years? And it looks like they're still intelligent creatures.

While Reed was in a daze, the humanoids seemed to be extremely uncomfortable inside the closed door, and they began to scratch themselves frantically.

Reed continued to stand blankly outside the closed door looking at the humanoids, unaware that he had begun the first type of contact.

PS Note: Aliens and Zerg exist in the Marvel Universe themselves, and they don't need to be integrated with other movie stories. In fact, Marvel itself is very diverse, and almost everything you can think of in Europe and the United States mainstream and non-mainstream two-dimensional culture is present in Marvel. Including werewolves, vampires, aliens, dinosaurs Jurassic, Aliens, kung fu masters, ninja culture, and many more. Writing Marvel doesn't need to integrate with other movies or anything, it comes with all the themes it needs.
