Chapter Ninety-Eight: A Whistleblower Letter

With the arrival of June, the weather becomes muggy and cloudless.

Jon would ask a house-elf from the kitchen every day for a few pints of chilled pumpkin juice, and then join Astoria, by the lake or under the trees, enjoying the summer breeze while reviewing the details of the medieval witch hunt and the five exceptions to Gamp's Transfiguration.

However, this comfortable life was short-lived, and the exams soon began, and there was an unusual silence in the castle.

At lunch on Monday, the second-graders walked out of the shape-shifting classroom one by one, so disgraced that they couldn't even walk...... They talked a lot and complained that the content of the exam was too difficult...... Transfiguration exams include turning a book into a turtle!

"I feel like I'm becoming like a turtle......" Astoria whispered to Jon as she walked out of the classroom.

"It's okay, they all look the same!" Jon reassured.

Jon didn't have any trouble with the exams for the other subjects...... The Charms class was about lockpicking and pleasure, which weren't the slightest bit difficult for Jon.

The next morning's Potions exam, Snape strove from crucible to cauldron to watch their swollen potions progress. But as always, he didn't find anything wrong with Jon's potions.

As he left, he wrote three numbers on Jon's paper.

The Defence Against the Dark Arts exam is a small adventure where they have to wade through a pond with Grindylow, through a pothole with red hats lurking, and finally through a swamp and get rid of a Hinkpunk......

It's not too difficult, it's all in class, and when Jon finishes his exam, Lupin gives him an approving look.

The difficulty of the herbal medicine exam surprised many people, and they needed to transfer and re-inoculate a Devil's Net. Many students had a lot of trouble with their exams, but Professor Sprout kindly told them that she would not let any of her students fail......

The final exam for the History of Magic class took place on the morning of June 6th...... At 11:10 a.m., with the end of this exam, it seemed that their entire semester of study could come to an end.

As Jon leaves the examination room, he is confronted by Connelly Fudge, Minister of Magic, who is wearing a pinstriped cloak and talking to several wizards, one of whom is holding an axe nearly two meters long.

Fudge didn't notice him, though, and the minister's eyes kept on Hagrid's hut in the distance.

Continuing upstairs, Jon finally made his way to a window on the eighth floor of the castle and pulled out his brass binoculars.

He glanced first at Hagrid's hut, where he saw Buckbeak, the hippogriff, lazily eating grilled fish, unaware of the impending judgment.

Jon moved his gaze to the area around the man-beating willow a few hundred yards from Hagrid's hut. He saw a yellow cat and a big black dog, and the two animals sat by the beating willows, as if they were discussing something.

A smile appeared on Jon's lips.

Unhurriedly, he put the binoculars back into his bag, then went to the restaurant and had a bite to eat.

Declining the invitation of several classmates to go to Quidditch in the afternoon, after lunch, he went to the owl hut alone.

......

The white owl flew over Jon's shoulder again, making love to him.

"Joe Green, dear ......" Jon whispered, "You need to go to London again, this is the last ......"

The owl nodded, signaling that it understood.

Jon found a spot free of bird poop, sat down, and checked the time one last time.

First of all, today is June 6th...... According to the formula for calculating the sunset time, he had already calculated that today's sunset time was 19:00:38 p.m.

Sunset is when the moon appears, and since tonight is the night of the full moon, this is also the time of Remus-Lupin's transformation.

After Lupin transforms into a werewolf, Siris-Black fights the werewolves in his Animagus form to protect his godson, Harry, and is mortally wounded and loses consciousness by the lake, reverts to his original form, attracts Dementors, and is captured alive by Snape.

The whole process doesn't take too long, it's about 10-20 minutes.

Jon had sent Joeglin back and forth to London a dozen times before, just to calculate the time it would take for the owl to get to London...... According to his attempts and calculations, on a sunny and windless day like today, Joe Green would have spent about 5 hours and 10 minutes delivering the letter to London.

So, all I had to do was send a report letter to the Ministry of Magic in London at 14:10 p.m....... At around 19:20 p.m., the Ministry of Magic will find out that Black is present at Hogwarts, and they will contact Fudge, the Minister who is staying overnight at Hogwarts, as soon as possible.

Fudge will be excited to show up at the scene of the crime with the Dementors and take over Black, who was captured alive by Snape...... Instead of the original book, Snape wakes up Fudge at rest and hands Black over to him and the Dementors.

With Dumbledore's help, Harry and Hermione will use the time turner to rescue Blake and get him out of the way......

No outcome will change, but he will have an additional identity as a whistleblower.

Cialis Black's bounty is a whopping 3,000 Galleons – no, it has even risen to 5,000 Galleons the other day.

And they will reward half of the bounty amount to the whistleblower who provides detailed information about the Blake's infestation!

The Ministry of Magic is an official organization, and the bounty announcement written in black and white can't be denied!

Jon took out his parchment and pen and began to write:

"Dear Mrs. Amelia Bones,

Hello!

I'm an ordinary second-year Hogwarts student: Jon Hart.

We met in Azkaban once (I was with Professor Dumbledore at the time), and you might have an impression of me.

Now there is a very serious matter that needs to be reported to you.

A few minutes earlier, I had seen the wanted Syris-Black, right in the school, on the shores of Lake Hogsmeade, next to a beating willow.

I was scared and ran away, and Blake didn't seem to notice me.

I was going to contact Professor Dumbledore, but I don't know where his office is, so I can't find him!

I can only write to the Ministry of Magic for help - I hope the Ministry of Magic will send law enforcement officers in time to bring Blake to justice!

PS: Until Blake is reincarcerated in Azkaban, I hope the Ministry of Magic will keep my report a secret...... As a Muggle-born Hogwarts student, I was very afraid of Blake's revenge......

Thank you!

Jon Hart"

Finally, he wrote a bold line on the envelope, "Report the information about the Cialis Black haunt."

Tying a whole letter to the owl's feet, Jon told Joegreen, "Take this letter with Lady Bones, the director of the Ministry of Magic and the Law Enforcement Division of Magic!"

Lady Amelia-Bones was one of the friendlier and more responsible officials in the Ministry of Magic (the Department of Magical Law Enforcement was second only to the Minister of Magic), and Jon felt it would be safer to write to her.

As he let go, the white owl disappeared into the sky!

......

Jon walked out of the owl hut, only to be hit head-on by a tiny owl.

Holding Jon around, Jon saw a note fall at his feet.

Jon picked up the note, which was cut short:

"Jon;

If nothing else, come to my office around four o'clock with the slogan 'chilled lemonade'.

Albus Dumbledore"
