"Listening to your words is better than reading a book for ten years!" Kang Jie sighed.

In fact, Kang Jie doesn't understand these truths? It's just that he didn't think about it here, in fact, don't talk about Kang Jie, even some netizens understand these things very well.

But why hasn't it changed at this stage?

The answer lies in the audience's impression of the main theme movie as a heroic model film, which feels more like a promotional film than a movie.

It's like a commercial, you expect the audience to pay for a ticket to see the commercial, but of course they don't want to.

"What kind of subject does Mr. Lin like?" asked Kang Jie.

"I haven't thought about it yet, but, in general, there are a few, military, police, firefighters, this kind of thing. Lin Xiao thought for a while and said.

Kang Jie nodded, the military and the police were in his expectation, after all, although it is the main theme, it still has to be commercialized, and if it is commercialized, then the most suitable are naturally the two professions of soldiers and police.

However, the firefighters that Lin Xiao talked about later made Kang Jie a little surprised.

Immediately, Kang Jie suddenly had a flash of inspiration in his mind and said: "If it is a firefighter, I have a proposal here." ”

"Oh? Lin Xiao asked in surprise.

"You wait for me, I'll look for it. Kang Jie stood up, then stepped aside, took out a roll of old newspapers, and began to rummage through them.

"There it is!" Kang Jie found an old newspaper.

Then put it in front of Lin Xiao.

"Mr. Lin might as well take a look, if the firefighters say, I suggest that they might as well adapt it to real events, in this case, I can provide some help to Mr. Lin. Kang Jie said.

Lin Xiao took the newspaper, and what caught his eye was a piece of news.

"8.13 Major explosion accident ...... Minghai Chemical Plant"

Lin Xiao had heard of this accident, and the impact was very great at the beginning, because the Minghai Chemical Plant was in an industrial park, and the direct casualties caused by the explosion accident itself were not large, but because in the industrial park, there were several chemical plants within the scope of the explosion, and finally a series of explosions and dangerous chemical leakage accidents occurred, resulting in major casualties.

Firefighters also died in this accident, which can be said to be a sensation back then.

Lin Xiao didn't expect Kang Jie to show himself this.

In recent years, there have been many such fire accidents, and the most common ones are forest fires, especially during the winter solstice of the Qingming Dynasty every year, because the forest fires caused by tomb sweeping can be said to be numerous.

It's like this 8?? 13. The Minghai fire accident is not too many accidents that occur in large enterprises.

"In fact, the reason why there is this proposal is because before, we Huaying had considered 8?? 13 The fire accident was adapted into a movie, but the script was revised several times, but it was not as expected, and the project was finally shelved. ”

"If Mr. Lin wants to shoot a movie about firefighters, I think this 8?? 13 fire accidents is a good choice. Moreover, because he wanted to make this movie, Huaying also visited the Mingzhou City Fire Brigade responsible for the rescue and extinguishing of the fire accident that year, eh, among the eight firefighters who died that year, the youngest was only 19 years old!

Lin Xiao nodded and began to look at it.

"Mr. Kang, these materials ......," Lin Xiao asked.

"About 8?? 13?? The information of the fire accident, I will have someone sort it out and give it to you later, if you have any needs, Mr. Lin can come to me directly. Kang Jie said with a smile.

"Then I'll go back and study first!" Lin Xiao nodded and said.

If you want to shoot a realistic movie, you have to do a lot of preparation, especially since this incident has been happening for more than ten years, so it is not so easy to find out a lot of the situation at that time.

And after that, there will definitely be a field visit, the preparation period is definitely very long, it stands to reason that Lin Xiao wants to make a movie, and there are a lot of movies that can make money, and there is no need to do such a thankless thing, but Lin Xiao feels that this is a good opportunity, and the significance is extraordinary.

He is not short of money now, so there are some things that can be done, and who said that this kind of movie can't be a big hit?

Lin Xiao believes that as long as the quality of the movie is good enough, no matter what the subject matter is, it will have the same audience.

The audience doesn't like the main theme, or in other words, the audience doesn't like the main theme movies in the past, but it doesn't mean that the main theme movies have no merit.

In fact, looking at those Hollywood movies, there are actually many of them are main theme movies, but when they package them, they hide this aspect, but in the final analysis, it is still the main theme.

Moreover, in fact, "Huang Feihong" can also be said to be the main theme movie, but the era is placed in the Republic of China period.

Of course, the specifics still need to be studied before they can be determined.

The key is that this time the movie is made, there is absolutely no need to worry about the distribution, Huaying, Lin Xiao believes that it will definitely give the greatest support.

Lingxiao Pavilion's own distribution ability is very good, if coupled with the strong support of Huaying, then I believe it will definitely not be bad.

Moreover, many times, making movies involves a lot of trivial matters, but if there is the support of Huaying, then some troublesome things can be handed over to Huaying and let them help solve them, which can be said to save a lot of trouble.

This kind of film adapted from real events, in fact, the most important thing is the story, if this event is adapted and the story is told well, not only to highlight the main theme, but also to be entertaining, which is the most difficult.

......

"Do you really plan to direct it yourself?" Zhou Ya looked surprised.

"Yes, what?" Lin Xiao asked suspiciously.

"It's nothing, it's just that this kind of movie can't be made in a short time, the actors must undergo long-term professional training, and the time distance is so far, many things at the beginning are no longer testable, and it will take a long time to collect information, right?

"Huaying has collected information about this incident earlier, this is the first, second, this time Huaying took the lead, wanting to create a role model, so the support is unprecedented, in terms of information, in fact, there is no need to worry too much, and in terms of actors, there is no problem with training, and Huaying will also fully support it. ”

"The key is that I think the main theme movie is actually promising, and if the energy of this category of movies can be released, there may not be another popular theme in the future. This is a good thing, for whatever reason, I have no reason to refuse, both public and private. ”
