Chapter 387: Forgetfulness

"Shushan has no toes, behaved badly when he was young, and was also tortured. Later, he reformed himself, and met Confucius who wanted to worship his disciples, but was refused. Confucius said that his virtue was lacking, and his subordinates did not accept people with criminal records, so he refused. Wutoe boasted that he had the intention to seek knowledge and goodness, but he could not follow it, so Confucius brought it back. brought back, but did not accept the apprentices, but took the toeless ruler as a lesson to admonish the protΓ©gΓ©s.

Wutoe later worshipped under Lao Dan's sect to seek advice and questioned Confucius's shackles to the reputation of the sage. Lao Dan asked him why he didn't tell Confucius that honor and disgrace, life and death are one, so as to untie the shackles. Toe sighed, the destiny of heaven locks the body, and it is difficult to open it until death. ”

Luochen looked at the shackles, thoughtfully, and then glanced at the key again, looking at the other party.

The man looked back at him, and then began to tell another story: "Lu Aigong could not understand the hermit's lamentation, and talked with Confucius to solve his doubts. Confucius gave various examples to prove that mourning was indeed a person with complete intellect and not outward virtue.

Confucius said, "Death and life, survival, poverty, wealth and poverty, virtuous and unscrupulous, reputation, hunger and thirst, cold and heat, are the changes of things and the deeds of life", in order to say that people are ignorant of the way of heaven, and they are powerless to control it, if they can investigate this point, they can be at peace with the situation regardless of the good times and the adverse currents, let love and hate be calm, ignore the poor, gains and losses, and even life and death, and change the same, and things are spring, that is, they can get all the ......."

Falling into the dust, I just said that Confucius was obsessed with form, isn't it quite clear?

Confucius said that there is nothing calmer in the world than stopping water, which can be used as a reference measure, and there is something to be tolerated inside but not exalted outside. The inner fullness and peace are the practice of virtue, and if there is something inside but not visible outside, everything is naturally willing to be close.

Empress Lu Ai had self-examination and self-examination, and said to Min Zi, 'I have ruled the world in the south, and I am worried about his death because of the discipline of ruling the people, and I think I am the best. Now I have heard the words of the people, and I am afraid that I have no truth, and I will use my body lightly and kill my country'. ”

Luochen nodded slightly, secretly touching the taste.

The other party then began to tell the third story: "In the past, there was a broken and fragmented person who lobbied Wei Linggong, and Weng Da Gall lobbied Qi Huangong.

The second prince not only does not get tired of it, but then looks at the able-bodied people, but feels that his eyes are full of 'his shoulders and shoulders', which is very ugly.

Zhuangzi said that this is because of the superiority of virtue, which will make people forget the defects in appearance. If people remember what they should have forgotten and forgot what they should have remembered, then that is true forgetting......"

Luochen interjected: "I think that although the second prince has never judged people by his appearance and Da Gall, he is still suspected of being trapped. Otherwise, why don't you turn your head and see others, and there is still a difference between beauty and ugliness?"

The other party looked at him deeply, did not make a judgment, and asked: "This story, there is still a 'sage's theory' that has not been said, do you still want to listen to it?"

"Divine Venerable, please speak. ”

"When the saints traveled, they often regarded worldly wisdom as a curse, covenants as imprisonment, so-called virtue as a means of handing over foreign things, and an act of ingenuity as a merchant.

Do not think about power and seek things, do not need worldly wisdom, do not get entangled with disputes, do not be entangled in shackles, do not degenerate personality, do not deliberately advocate virtue, do not trade with others for profit, and do not need business methods.

The saint can be nourished by heaven by holding these four methods, so there is no need to flatter the world and deliberately artificial.

Therefore, the saint is 'in the form of a man, but without the affection of man.' The form of a person is a group of people, and the affection of no one is not a person. It is small, so it belongs to people, and it is big, and it is unique. ”

Luochen nodded, and then asked, "Where did these stories come from?"

"Zhuangzi, "De Chong Fu". ”

"This Zhuangzi is an interesting person. Luochen said, suddenly remembered a certain detail before, and couldn't help laughing, "Whether Wuxuan and Da Gall are saints or not, Xiaoxian doesn't know." But in the heart of this Zhuangzi, Confucius must not be the most holy. ”

β€œοΌŸβ€

In the previous story, this Confucius said a lot of truths to people, but when facing Shushan without toes, his words and deeds were somewhat contrary to his principles! This Zhuangzi was clearly borrowing the mouth of Shushan without toes, deliberately criticizing Confucius. ”

He laughed spontaneously, but the other party was silent. After being silent for a long time, Luochen finally felt that his attitude was inappropriate, and hurriedly restrained his words and deeds, still listening respectfully.

There is also a dialogue between Zhuangzi and Keiko at the end, which happens to be the debate that follows the story. ”

"Divine Venerable, please speak, Xiaoxian listens. ”

Huizi asked Zhuangzi, are people inherently ruthless? Zhuangzi said, yes.

Huizi asked again, if a person is ruthless, then can he still be regarded as a human being? Zhuangzi said, Heavenly Dao Yin and Yang have endowed such a physical appearance, how can they not be human? Huizi replied, since he is a human being, how can he be ruthless!

Zhuangzi said to Huizi, "You and I are not the same thing as 'love'. When I say ruthlessness, I mean that people should not hurt their physical and mental nature for the sake of likes and dislikes, and always conform to nature and do not deliberately ask for additions.

Keiko said, if you don't seek benefits, how can you keep this human body and mind!

Zhuangzi asked Huizi rhetorically, what are you doing when the way of heaven gives you physical appearance, but you don't mean to hurt your body with likes and dislikes? You spend your mind exposing your mind and expending your energy on meaningless things all day long, either leaning on trees and chanting poems to hurt the spring and autumn, or lying down a few times after playing the piano, so emotionally and movingly, what benefits do you talk about in vain! God has given you the appearance of a human being, but you are smug with the sophistry of others with the theory of 'hard whiteness'!

After listening to this, Luochen smacked himself for a moment and said, "The Taoist chief told me an allusion to help break the game. What is the meaning of the Divine Venerable's long talk?"

The other person asked, "What do you hear when these five stories are combined, including the final dialogue?"

Luochen pondered for a moment and replied: "Is it to teach the world to 'forget the form' and 'forget the feelings', to maintain a peaceful attitude of life and death, and not to be swayed by honor and disgrace, likes and dislikes?"

"It's really the words 'forget the form, forget the feelings'. The other party nodded, and suddenly changed his words, and said, "However, what I want to tell you is not the truth of quiet and inaction. ”

β€œοΌŸβ€

"I want you to remember that forgetting your form is not only forgetting the beauty and ugliness of Yan Yuan, the rich and the poor, or the honor and disgrace of life and death, but also 'the other and this'. ”

"Each other?"

"Yes. One another, you and me, birds and beasts, heaven and earth, immortals or ...... Person. ”

Luochen understood the literal meaning, but he didn't know why the other party said this, nodded as if he didn't understand, and asked again: "Then, what about forgetfulness?"

"If you can really forget the 'other' and this, you will not be paranoid about the 'affection' for the 'other' or 'this', and you will naturally forget your feelings. Let you forget your feelings, not to let you break away from cold feelings, but to let you forget about partiality and narrow-mindedness, benevolence and benevolence. ”

Luo Chen suddenly remembered that the Zhifu of the Examination Office had said that "great kindness is ruthless", and asked, "Dare to ask who the Divine Venerable is, and why do you want to say this to me?"

The other party was suddenly stunned, and sighed faintly: "Because I am self-righteous and have made a big mistake." ”
