On the evening of January 24, 1987, the comrades-in-arms who had been left behind were re-assigned. Wang Forest still lives in the original dormitory, but there are many more unfamiliar faces and fewer familiar people.

Because the Spring Festival is approaching, in addition to arranging some regular training in the camp, the comrades-in-arms are basically in a free state of familiarity with each other. In the face of personnel changes and the suspension of training, everyone suddenly felt that the days were much monotonous......

There is an old saying in the army: "New recruits have a lot of faith, and veterans have a lot of work."

During the period of the army, comrades-in-arms wrote letters with a great advantage -- that is, they did not need to pay postage! Every person who wrote a letter could send it free of charge as long as he stuffed the written letter into his mailbox and then stamped the troop document with a triangular seal special for the army.

Because when they first arrived in the army, each new comrade-in-arms missed their relatives and friends in their hometown very much, which was really deep and earnest, so there were always a lot of letters from everyone at that time: often a stack of hair, a stack of receipts!

Wang Linlin clearly remembers that whenever he saw the return of the paperwork from the camp, his comrades-in-arms greeted him with a smile on their faces, and they looked forward carefully: they hoped to have their own letters! But when they saw a thick stack of letters, they sent them down one by one; if they had their own, they would cheer and leave with the letters; if not, they would also look disappointed at the back of the paperwork before leaving.

Naturally, Wang Linlin also wrote a lot of letters at that time, and I remember the most, when I received 22 letters at the same time in one day—— dated February 13, 1987.

At that time, there were many letters to be written to, and most of the contents were emotional thoughts, encouragement, mutual reports and introductions, and so on, and the length was not short......

But after more than a year, Wang Linlin felt that his letters had significantly decreased, except for the length of special exchanges, in most cases only three words or two, so that later, his sister Wang Yaqin once laughed at him: the content of each letter was as short as a telegram!

In any case, letters from the recruit period are really important to the new comrades-in-arms! Because they are a strong support for the recruits to receive training and temper their growth! It is also the best tool for emotional communication!

Among all Wang Linlin's letters at that time, there were two things that left a deep impression on him:

First, it is the old lady, although she enlisted in the army and joined the old man to support it, but for a period of time after she left, she was always in a mood every once in a while......

After a while, the situation finally improved, because the old lady began to believe in Buddhism, and every first and fifteenth day of the new year, she would go to the temple to worship, and occasionally stay in the temple for a few days, I heard that she was very religious......

Second, it was my sister Wang Yaqin who wrote that Liu Dong and Qi Yulan had officially established a romantic relationship; the two often went out in public, one was full of smiles and caution, and the other was faintly smiling or unhappy......

Most of a person's emotional outburst will have a special node, or entry point, because only then will there be the strongest resonance and the highest realm!

From enlistment to the present, there are too many people, too many things, too many emotions and ideas...... Because of the tight training before, I had no time to take care of it, but now that I am in the Spring Festival holiday, I am suddenly idle, and Wang Linlin's thoughts and emotions are in a state of explosion!

I miss my hometown and my loved ones: grandma, father, mother, sister, brother......

I can't forget: the care of Deputy Director Ni, Sister Ni Mei's watery eyes, the cuteness of Xiaoding Road, and the classmates, teachers and principal......

I am touched by what the troops have seen, heard, lived and dear comrades-in-arms......

In the face of all this, Wang Forest was forced to vent and wanted to record all this!

Fortunately, there were a lot of notebooks as gifts, so Wang Forest went down with his brain: from enlistment to the present, from everyone he met to many things, he wrote them one by one...... After a few days, it is most of the documentary diary!

After the feeling of first arriving in the army, there is a new vision, and the future life will be bitter and sweet...... I will pick up the pen in my hand, want to record the bits and pieces of life, whether it is ups and downs, or sad and joyful, I will not hesitate to go on, write! May life be better, may the pen in my hand record: beautiful notes!

Thanks to these truthful records, Wang Forest always looks: that person, that thing, that thing...... The experience is like in front of me, and more is moved and missed!

On the Spring Festival of January 28, Wang Linlin, Luo Zongsheng (a newspaper operator, stayed on the mountain together), Ma Xiaobing, and Chen Jialin went down the mountain, and they bought some firecrackers and a few packs of cigarettes in the small town at the foot of the mountain.

When everyone was having mixed feelings, I only heard someone shouting: "Everyone go to the conference room on the second floor and watch the party." ”

The mid-80s was a period of vigorous development and the most splendid period of culture, literature, art, and film and television! Many works of those years, even today, are also rare classics!

Wang Linlin remembers that when he was a child during the Spring Festival, he basically couldn't sleep, and a large group of playmates either carried lanterns around, picked up firecrackers, set off firecrackers, played cards, and listened to stories......

But since the advent of TV and the Spring Festival Gala, there are fewer people who come out to play, and every year at the end of the meal, they always sit in front of the TV early: looking forward to excitement and laughter!
