Around six o'clock, Wang Forest and his entourage arrived at the long-distance bus station in Fuzhou City. Everyone checked their luggage first, and then took the long-distance bus to Yutian County at 6:30. Our company is located in the mountains of the south, at an altitude of 1,629 meters above sea level. There are no tall trees on the top of the mountain, mostly shrubs and grasses, strange peaks and boulders, on the mountainside, there are many pine trees and miscellaneous trees, and in the mountain cols, there are many shrubs, flowers and plants, and there are also mountain streams and canyons, where the water flows or gurgles, or slopes straight down and splashes rocks.

Standing on the top of the peak, looking into the distance, but seeing the mountains undulating, vaguely boundless. The top of the mountain is dark green, or you can see one or several trees...... Isolated and loose trees, mountainside trees, bamboo grass are lush and pleasant, and between the mountain passes, you may see the thatched huts faintly, and you can see the stream flowing for a long time.

On a sunny morning, or after a rainy day, you will see clouds and mist surrounding the mountains, with only the green peaks and the milky white sea of clouds.

In April, May and June, the mountains are full of red and red, and the flowers and trees are really green, and they are beautiful.

Alpine weather, in general, is the most suitable for the three months of August, September and October. The rest of the season is foggy, rainy and windy. Fog, in particular, is the worst. Sometimes for more than a month, I don't see the sun showing my face. It has been calculated that there are about 60 to 70 sunny days per year on the mountain, and the rest are rainy and foggy.

The fog on the high mountains was both abundant and heavy, and because of the heavy humidity, everyone on the mountain suffered greatly. As a matter of fact, the leaders of the unit are very concerned about everyone's daily life.

In order to mitigate the dangers of fog, the company's housing was also designed to prevent fog and moisture: the roof, floor and surroundings of the interior were lined with wooden panels, and the windows were two- or three-storey inside and outside to protect against moisture. The beds and quilts were always damp, the clothes in the cupboards were also damp, the floors were always damp and slippery, and the whole room was filled with the smell of mold.

When the fog is heavy, if you walk out of the room, it only takes a moment for your hair and beard to shine, and when you see the wall of the passage of the barracks, "sweat beads" are dripping...... Walking into the dining room, the tables, stools, and floors are all wet......

The company's sports and recreational activities mainly include: single (double) pole, table tennis, basketball, billiards, Go, chess, etc., and there are many kinds of magazines and newspapers in the reading room. Since 1988, there has been a library, with about 500 to 700 books of all kinds, most of which I have read.

Underneath the other position, there was an air-raid shelter. The length of the cave is about 400 meters, the width and height are about 3 meters, and there are stairs in the middle to reach the No. 1 position. There is a clear spring in the puddle in the cave, and when the comrades-in-arms are on duty, they often carry water or wash there.

Although our company is hard, there is also too much happiness for us!
