Chapter 9 Buses
When I arrived outside the village, I found a motorcycle brother and stuffed some travel expenses, and the motorcycle brother carried me all the way into the town. I didn't know where I was going, so I wandered around town.
The town is full of vendors, butchers, and small shops, and this is the first time I've been to the town since I've grown up, and I can't help but be fascinated by the new and quirky things in the town.
Before leaving, my grandfather told me where he usually used to hide money, and I found the only remaining 400 quick money in the family.
It took me nearly an hour to take me into town, and I feel thirsty now, so there is a small shop in front of me, so I plan to go over and buy a bottle of water.
When I entered the store, all kinds of novelty gadgets caught my eye, but when I looked at the price codes one by one, I gave up and honestly went to see the water. One of the black water attracted me, and I saw that Coca-Cola was written on the bottle, and the boss said that this drink is popular among young people and children also love to drink it, so I couldn't help but spend four quick money to buy two bottles, planning to wait for the sun to go down, and Cher can give her a taste after she comes out.
I walked around the town until one or two o'clock in the afternoon, when the alarm went off in my stomach, and I took my heart.
Although it was already autumn, the sun was still relatively strong at the beginning of autumn, so I found a shady place on the side of the road, sat in the shade, ate the dry food I had brought, and then sat there to rest. The pedestrians on the road looked at me with all kinds of eyes, and they were still sighing.
"Alas, such a young child, what a pitiful"
There were even people who would put a few dollars in front of me, which made me a little confused, didn't I just take a break, why did they all look at me like this, but I was still very happy with the money I got for nothing.
As dusk approached, there were a lot fewer pedestrians on the road, and I couldn't help but shiver as a cool breeze blew through the town.
I'm going to find a place to stay for the night, and I'll talk about where to go tomorrow.
After walking for about ten minutes, I saw a hotel with a sign on it, so I decided to go in and ask. The boss was very welcoming, the guests who came with me were all one hundred and one nights, and only I was fifty for one night, and I was happy to praise the boss for being a good person, and the pedestrians who came in with me all covered their mouths and laughed at me for not knowing what I was talking about.
"You suffered a loss and laughed at me," I looked at them unconvinced.
The boss didn't say much, and led me upstairs and checked into the house.
The house was at the end of the corridor on the second floor, and the room next to me was uninhabited, most of them lived at the other end of the corridor, but it was just right and clean.
After entering the house, Cher also came out, and there was a single bed in the room, but Cher and I were two small children, and it was completely fitted.
Cher glanced at the room and frowned.
"Cher, don't you like it here?" I asked, confused.
Seeing that I was confused, Xue'er smiled and said, "No, this is good, I like it," and looked around from time to time.
I suddenly remembered the Coke I bought at noon, so I took it out of my bag and handed it to Xue'er, saying that it was for him.
Cher was happy, but she looked at me hesitantly when she picked up the Coke.
I hurriedly told her that I had already drunk it, and that this bottle was for her.
Xue'er sighed and lowered her head and said softly: "But I'm a ghost, I don't feel hungry without eating, and I can't eat human food."
I was shocked, and I took Cher's hand and comforted me.
I guess I played in the house with Cher for about two hours, and it was already completely dark.
"I'll go out and I'll be back in a minute, you just stay in the house and don't wait for me to come back," Cher said, looking at me.
When I asked her where she was going, she didn't say anything, so I promised her to wait in the house for him to come back.
After waiting for about an hour, I was already idle and panicked, when there was a knock on the door, I opened the door, and it was Xue'er back. He looked at me with a happy look on his face and went into the house.
After a day of tossing, I was already tired, so I lay on the bed with Xue'er and prepared to sleep.
"Xue'er, why don't you lie down and sleep?" I asked with a frown and a puzzled look at me when I saw that Xue'er didn't lie down for a long time, sitting on the edge of the bed with a red face.
When I asked this, Xue'er suddenly let out a snort and whispered: "I... I'm fine, you go to sleep first."
I didn't understand why Cher was like this, so I turned my head and went to sleep.
By the time I opened my eyes again, it was the next morning, and Cher was still sitting at the head of the bed. I looked around, only to find that Cher had pulled all the curtain curtains in the house, and no light came in.
I said to Cher, "It's time to go". Cher nodded and slipped into my jade perry.
I went downstairs and planned to say goodbye to the boss and leave, but who knew that the boss immediately showed a surprised expression when he saw me, and I was a little confused. Ever since I came to this town, I felt that the people in this town were very strange, and everyone looked at me so strangely.
"Boss, what's on my face, why do all the people in this town think of me like that," I asked with a frown.
"No... No," the boss replied hurriedly.
I don't care about him anymore, I'm a little angry anyway. Before leaving, I asked the innkeeper how to get to the city, and after the boss told me the distance, I left directly.
After walking around the town for a few more hours, I felt that it was almost time to go, so I waited for the bus at a bus stop in the town according to the route provided by the boss.
There were more than a dozen people waiting for the bus with me, all carrying large bags and small bags, and they should be people who want to work hard in the city.
It didn't take long for the bus to arrive, and our group was on and flocking up. There were so many people on the bus that there were no seats when I got there. The bus from the mountain town to the city takes a long time to come, and the next one will not arrive until four o'clock, and the earliest in the city is evening. I don't want to wait any longer, so I'll make do with it.
The first time I took the bus, it was a bit of a novelty, and although it was standing, I was still quite excited. On the way, I stopped at a stop at the entrance of a village, I looked out of the car, it was already dusk, and there was a funeral team carrying the coffin at the entrance of the village, which reminded me of my grandfather, and I felt sad.
At this moment another person came up in the car, it was a young man, he lowered his head and took a look at the carriage, he lowered his head again, and walked into the carriage, and just when he came to me, the young man stopped.
Since I was much lower than him, I couldn't help but look up at him, only to see the corner of his mouth smile at me, and then turn his head and be silent.
At this point, the bus started again.
