Chapter 1149: The Invisibility Cloak Is Really Lost
Hogwarts Gryffindor was located in a tower's boys' dormitory, a room with five little lions, crimson flannel curtains dangling from the beds with four pillars each, Harry's suitcase scattered all over the floor, and all kinds of personal clothing for preparing for a Hogwarts week out were thrown everywhere.
Harry snorted and gasped out from under the bed, he felt a cool breeze blow through the window to his face, but that didn't dispel his frustration, he wiped the sweat from his face, "It's really gone, Ron... I've lost my cloak of invisibility.."
"It can't be invisible on it, is it?" Ron continued to rummage through the pile of clothes on the ground, stroking things in front of him little by little, like a blind or highly myopic patient, hoping to touch some invisible touch.
"I haven't had a chance to use it this semester... I remember storing it in the corner of the cabinet, just behind the House Scarf. Harry sat down on the edge of the bed, tugging at the thick gold and red college scarf and burying his face in it, only then did he feel that he was too concerned with this treasure, and it made Harry's voice tremble slightly, "It was a relic that my father left me, and I lost it..."
"Now you're so flustered that you can't find it for a while... Maybe we'll calm down and remember where to put it in a moment. Ron sat down next to Harry, tossed the clothes back into the pile, and put his arms around his friend's shoulders to try to comfort him, "Do you remember when we helped Hagrid deliver that grumpy Norboran Norboran in our first year... Oh, I mean, Nobeta... Charlie found out that it was actually a female dragon, wasn't it? This dragon, I recently saw Hagrid in the dragon farm, always trying to make it remember that he was its male mother... But it didn't help..."
"Ahh What did you just want to say?"
"Oh, Harry, do you remember when we went downstairs with Hermione after we dropped off Nobeta that day, we forgot the cloak of invisibility on the tower and went downstairs without wearing it" Ron said in front of his co-participant Harry, "I mean, did you fall somewhere again..."
"Ron... I just told you that I didn't use him this semester. Harry yelled at him and realized that he shouldn't have treated his friend who had been by his side so badly, "I'm sorry, but Ron, I promise I didn't lose it myself." β
"It's okay Harry... But I asked the fat lady before I came in, and she said that no one had been in or out of the common room since curfew last night, and the lion statue in the lounge said that no one was traveling at night except yourself..."Ron was used to Harry's attitude, "but why did you want to use it last night?"
"When I went to bed last night, it hurt again. Harry held out his finger and pressed it tightly on his forehead, and under his finger, he could still feel the fiery pain that the lightning-shaped scar had left last night, "It's a lot in our fifth year, but it's rarely seen in sixth grade, but this year it seems to be more like... Dumbledore told me that after Voldemort took advantage of that connection, he was rarely willing to let me see what he was looking at... Even if it's fake, but from the summer holidays, the connection seems to have resumed..."
"It hurts again... What did you see this time?" Ron immediately sat up straight, his hand resting on Harry's shoulder in concern, "Maybe he's trying to lure you somewhere again, Harry, the mystery man doesn't dare to come to Hogwarts now, maybe he's using this trick to lure you out again... I've heard Dad talk to Lupin that the mystery man won't give up the prophecy he believes in easily..."
"No, Ron, it's not like that... I think Voldemort was more insane, he didn't notice that..."Harry shook his head in denial, "I could feel his anger, I could feel the frustration and helplessness in his heart that wanted to destroy everything, but he had to endure the grievances and helplessness, he was humiliated... He tried to resist, but found that he still couldn't beat him, and he couldn't get rid of Eren... I could feel him dizzy with rage... No kidding, I even started to worry about him if he would have a cerebral hemorrhage... Well, it's a disease that Muggles tend to develop when they're older... You know, Voldemort isn't too young..."
"Anyway, he at least has a Horcrux in the goblin's Gringotts vault, and he can't really die with any brain or blood... It's a pityβ" Ron said with some frustration, and then he realized what his friend had just said and exclaimed, "Wait, Harry, you mean... Alan went to trouble him again last night? Did he win again? I didn't see any news reports today. β
"Yes, Ron... Alan didn't know what method was used, and Voldemort was surprised, and he asked Alan if he had arranged the anti-prophecy detection enchantment or had been teleported to his side so accurately. Harry said this, and seemed to be still shocked by the scene he remembered last night, "The battle between Alan and Voldemort and others is not something we can imagine and participate in... If you want me to say that Voldemort really has a problem with his brain, he will think that I am some kind of savior who can kill him..."
"Harry, you have to believe the prophecy... I used to think that the worse the interpretation, the more pleasing Professor Trelawney would be... But you know Alan's attitude towards prophecy, he's not Dumbledore who hasn't taken a prophecy class, he cares about it, and he has interpreted many of Professor Trelawney's prophecies to us, and they have actually come true in ways that we don't even know, right?" Ron said to Harry with some divine chatter, "So, Harry, maybe you are far less powerful than Dumbledore, Allen, or the Divine [Smoke and Dust] mysteries, but maybe the outcome of that prophecy will also appear in ways we can't imagine now?" Prophecy can be changed, but let me say that the mysterious man is too feudal and superstitious... Maybe it was the Muggle orphanage who taught him, you know, he would have been much poorer than I had when I was a kid... He's willing to believe that to prove his extraordinary..."
"Voldemort is quite extraordinary this time, he somehow got himself a very scary eye... He fought much harder this time than before, Alan didn't notice that his face was hit by the red ray shot from Voldemort's eyes, although he quickly didn't know what to use to dispel Voldemort's suspicion, but it still seemed that a lot of life force was sucked away, and it looked terrifying at the time...."Harry pressed the scar, trying to remember the scene in the dream just now, and then his tone was a little cheerful," Don't worry, Ron, Eren quickly used Voldemort's men, using the vampire touch he taught us, he used it without directly touching those dark wizards, and he recovered quickly..."
"It's not good news that the mystery man is getting better..."Ron shook his head, "Remember today's news? The Death Eaters have gone on a rampage in France, and the Umbrella Men have officially started to go to France... I have a cousin who works at the umbrella and used to get a lot of props from George and Fred... It made my mom nervous and worried that he would die..."
"Actually, Ron, Eren is still perfectly capable of dealing with him... Alan robbed Voldemort last night... Before Voldemort started fighting, he used his subordinates in France to mock Allen's declaration of asylum... Anyway, this angered Allen, and he kept asking Voldemort for compensation during the final confrontation... Voldemort couldn't help Alan in the end, and he really gave Alan a pocket when he was passive, and he was letting him go..."
"The mysterious man has been robbing and killing people for so many years... This time, he was robbed by Allen in turn?!! which is really cool... Eren is going to make a fortune this time..."Ron felt that his fear of the mysterious man seemed to be much smaller because of this, and then his face froze, "That's not right, Harry, there were still people in the morning who complained about Allen, who spent money to send wizards from his company to help other countries in a bad economic situation, but why didn't Eren come out and respond if he actually robbed the mysterious man?..." Ron shook his head, " No, it's not right Harry, Alan is not short of money, have you noticed, Hermione, who manages the umbrella, is also on sick leave, plus the previous Luna... Okay, Mad Girl doesn't count, but if I want me to say, Hermione must be doing something big behind her back, and the pure-blood families and goblins who don't deal with Harris might be out of luck. β
"But alas, Alan may have missed a treasure room last night..."Harry's hand waved vigorously, "but alas, Alan may have missed a room last night, I saw through the eyes of the mysterious man that he peeked a few times during the battle, and tried to lure Alan to the other side during the battle, maybe that room contained some secret or treasure of Voldemort... It's a pity that Alan missed it..."
"Anyway, it's better to get some money back anyway, it's better than leaving it all to Voldemort. Ron shrugged, then changed his expression again, "Wait Harry, we're not talking about your Cloak of Invisibility, if it's gone, we'll have to tell the Order of the Phoenix..." Alan might be able to help you get it back? He told me to say that he was better than Professor Trelawney, did you notice that his eyes change, Percy said that it was the prophetic ability of the first Dark Lord Grindelwald... And even if you can't get it back, I think he'll be happy to give you some compensation... Maybe you can buy your own invisibility cloak made of invisible animal skins? This thing is being secretly sold by George... Uh, you don't tell anyone else. β
