Last week, I crossed the West Guanyin Mountain, and this week I crossed the East Guanyin Mountain, and the two weeks of climbing the mountain are based on the theme of Guanyin Mountain. Therefore, after I posted a photo of crossing the East Guanyin, friends from other places in the circle of friends looked at it and said: Is there still a North and South Guanyin Mountain on the mountain of the Qinling Mountains?

Hehe. No, there are two Guanyin on the mountain of Qinling. A little far between the two, East Guanyin Mountain belongs to Chang'an District. West Guanyin Mountain is in Zhouzhi County, and Hu County is separated between the two. West Guanyin Mountain is less than 50 kilometers away from where we live. I went to a place where there is Guanyin Mountain for both weeks, which is purely coincidental and has nothing to do with faith. It's really five years of climbing, and the good places in Qinling have been repeated many times.

However, any route that has been visited many times must be called a 'classic route' by mountain climbers. The so-called 'classic' is a place where the intensity of the route and the scenery are meaningful.

East Guanyin Mountain is about 2,166 meters above sea level, located 13 kilometers in Fengyukou, about 40 kilometers away from Xi'an. The elevation of the top of Guanyin Mountain is about 2,000 meters. There are more than 10 large and small temples along the way, most of which were built in the Tang Dynasty and are famous meditation places. The book "The Hollow Orchid" by the American Bill Porter has a more detailed description of the temple. It is 23 kilometers and is about a kilometer high.

The reason why I used a certain amount of words to introduce Guanyin Mountain this time is because friends from other places often ask about these contents. Therefore, writing in this way may bring my friends with me to climb the mountain or visit it, and satisfy the interests of the different categories. In the past, I didn't like to write about these temples on the mountain, because it was purely my personal interest, and I always had some different opinions about the fact that most of the best places in the mountains were inhabited by practitioners. Hehe, when I write this, I think of the king who said to me: I take myself too seriously!

It's time to start climbing the mountain.

Today is with Jin Ling. Jin Ling's strength and quality are welcomed by all mountain climbing leaders. With her, every climb is happy. It's the same this time.

Not long after entering Fengyu, I saw that today's sunlight was very transparent, and the contrast between the light in the city recently. The ascent to the mountain began at nine o'clock. At this time, the sky was blue and bright. Now, you can only see the blue sky in the deep mountains of the Qinling Mountains, and I call it the Qinling Blue! Today's clouds are very white, and there are many of them, and they are quietly opening up in the sky. When we walked to the edge of the village entrance, I couldn't tell whether it was a withered reed or a miscanthus grass, the beauty in front of us made us unable to move. Everyone stopped to take pictures through the reeds. When the sky full of clouds and miscanthus flowers are combined, it has the feeling of sky and birds. It's beautiful!

Standing at this position at the foot of the mountain, looking up and seeing the building on the top of Guanyin Mountain, standing on the top of the mountain, into the blue sky, it is really spectacular. And happy that we will reach such a height in a while: so high, we will be standing in that position in more than two hours. At that time, we were also in the blue sky, and we became spectacular.

In the mountains of the Qinling Mountains, there are very few places where you can see exactly where you are about to reach the top of the mountain when you stand at the foot of the mountain. East Guanyin Mountain is the most accurate one of the peaks. Today's sky is blue, visibility is good, and you can clearly see the colors of the buildings. When we stand on the top of the mountain in colorful costumes, if there is a telescopic eye at the foot of the mountain, we will see flowers on the top of the mountain. Haha, when I think of this, I really have to applaud myself for becoming a mountaintop scenery.

The blue sky and white clouds we saw at the mountain pass made us reluctant to walk away, greedy and intoxicated looking up at the sky, and wanted to take a more look at the blue sky of the Qinling Mountains. I am afraid that the changeable mountain climate will not be able to keep the clean blue above my head.

Looking at the blue sky, it is sad to think about it. This was supposed to be what we should have, but now it has become a luxury, and we must go to the depths of the Qinling Mountains to enjoy it......

Alas, let's continue up the mountain.

There is a thick layer of snow on the stone steps that first go up the mountain, and the further you go, the thicker it becomes. The white and thick snow makes me very happy. Two weeks ago, I thought it was the last snow I saw in Qinling, but I stepped on the snow again for three consecutive weeks, and I was really excited. This year is also the winter where I have seen the most snow, and I am much happier than those who don't go out of the city. This is one of the most fun things about mountain climbing, if you want to see the snow, you can climb the mountain.

My companion's physical fitness is too much above mine, and as long as she walks in front, I basically chase her anxiously the whole time. Today's ascent of the mountain is all the way up, and the stone steps are too many and too steep, and once my heart jumped wildly. So, when I caught up with her, I stopped letting her go ahead of her, and so on until we got out of the mountain.

In front of a location not far from Dongjing Pond, we chose to go directly to Nanya Temple. Of all the people who went up the mountain, we were the only ones who went up from here.

There is a characteristic on the East Kannon that the upper and lower slopes are basically sun-drenched slopes, and there are few shaded places. I don't like climbing mountains in ditches. Therefore, this is also an important reason why I love to come. When we walked on the leaf-covered trail, this rarely walked hillside was as soft as walking on the beach. When we arrived at Nanya Temple, the path without fallen leaves was clear, but when we stepped on it, it was a thick and soft mud under our feet. Every time I lift my foot, I stick a big lump, and the shoe prints are deep holes. I didn't take a few steps, and my shoes were so sticky that I couldn't lift my feet. At this time, I remembered the previous passage of "The Hollow Valley Orchid", to the effect that it rained at night, and when we got up in the morning, we found that we couldn't walk at all, because every step we took was a pile of mud stuck to our shoes, and it was too heavy to walk.

Haha, that's how I feel right now. This also proves that Bill's text and plot are all based on real feelings, and it is the most important factor in the popularity of this book. He wrote about his experience at Huayan Monastery in the afternoon, when he was interviewing Venerable Yuanzhao for the second time (Venerable Yuanzhao is the most famous female monk of our time). I was fortunate enough to see her photo at the Jingju Temple in Dongfogou. The moment I saw it, I was shocked with an 'ah', and the shock came from her extraordinary bearing. At this moment, her face is clearly in front of her. ), the experience of staying overnight at Huayan Temple.

The South Cliff Temple we are about to visit is also a famous temple described in detail in "The Empty Valley of Youlan".

Looking at the muddy soles of our shoes that shook when we stood on them, we both bent over with laughter. I said, "The two of us have trampled the path in front of the temple into potholes." Jin Ling said: This mud is too sticky and too thick.

This mountain forest is basically all dirt and mountains, and it is a sunny slope. After a winter of freezing paths, the temperature rose and thawed, and that's it. Because it is a soil mountain, the leaves fall all year round into fertilizer, making the soil soft and fertile. Now there are vegetable patches cultivated by the monks and so on. It is also because of this that the temple is built here.

Among the terraced fields that have been reclaimed, except for two plastic greenhouses, the others are idle. The green inside can be seen in one of the sealed greenhouses. This indicates that there are people in Nanya Temple. Later, when I came to the Guanyin Temple, it was speculated that this vegetable field may also be planted by two long-term temple keepers. Because it is more than ten minutes away from Daiding.

We try to wipe the mud off our shoes as much as possible in the snow. When I got to the front of the main hall, I saw that all the rooms here were locked. This is the same situation I saw when I first came on the fifth day of the Lunar New Year last year.

There is no courtyard wall in Nanya Temple, there are several houses of different sizes before and after, the courtyard is neat and clean, and the lintel of the main hall is whitewashed red. Because there is no one in the temple, we can have fun here. The high mountains on three sides of the temple block the wind, and the front faces the sun, and the field of vision is infinitely wide. I sat in front of the main hall under the eaves of the sky, looking at the mountains in the distance, sitting and watching the clouds and clouds, and the birds in the mountains and forests in my ears.

Haha, it feels so good! It's a great place to take a break.

I asked a male traveler who came here later to help me stay in Nanya Temple and watch the clouds rise. He smiled and said, "I don't usually take pictures in the temple, it's not good." However, the location of this South Cliff Temple is too good.

I laughed: I'm used to it the same as yours. It's just that all the doors of Nanya Temple are locked now, and there is no monk. The four of us have another meaning here. Ha ha.

Leaving Nanya Temple, we advanced to the top of Guanyin Mountain above. From here to the opposite side of the Daiding, you have to go down the slope to get there. When descending from the summit of Nanyaji Temple, there is a very steep road of several meters, and the two sides are close to the cliff. The snow at the top of the mountain was thick and icy, and it was very slippery, so we had to crouch and hold on to the bushes on one side to move down. If you can't hold on to one foot, the consequences can be imagined. Many times in the past, whenever I walked such a road, I would suddenly blame myself for being afraid: what kind of mountain I climbed, it is really 'people who don't die, they can't die.' ’

But when it was safe to go down, I immediately replaced my fear with joy, as if nothing had happened. Haha, this may be the mentality of all mountain climbers: well, the scar hurts, and the infinite scenery is at the dangerous peak!

It is also on the top of this mountain, and it is the best position to see the top of Guanyin Mountain on the opposite side. The buildings on the top of Guanyin Mountain can be seen at a glance. The newly built temple on the top of the hill is connected with the two main halls of the past, which is very spectacular. The whole building is on the top of the cliff on three sides, such as Huashan precipitous.

Jin Ling said: Look at how dangerous the cliffs are. The main hall at the back, from another position, looks exactly like it is open on a lotus flower. We don't see it here.

After more than ten minutes, we arrived at Daiding. The travelers who arrived in the early stage rested in front of the newly built temple. We went around to the main hall and went up to the observation deck. I saw the most beautiful mountains in the sea of clouds in the distance. Under the sky, which is half blue and half full of clouds, those large and small, faint, layered mountains, floating in the clouds and mist, are like heavenly palaces and castles, and they are also like city homes on the horizon. At this time, we are showering with golden light, leisurely between the sea of clouds, above the mountains and rivers, in addition to happiness, there is more of a tranquility and relief in our hearts.

This observation deck is the roof of the second floor.

Master Zhang, the hostess of the temple, is from Ji'an, Jilin, and I am familiar with her. Familiarity comes from her enthusiasm for me. Every time we come here, we eat at this location. The welcoming hostess would provide us with tables and chairs, making this the only place at the top of all the climbs with such good conditions. Eating here has a taste of home life.

Once, the year before last, when nine of our friends came together, Chef Zhang saw that there were too many of us and that cooking on the stove in the field was too slow, so he was 'almost' forced to help us cook two big iron pot rice with the gas stove in her kitchen. Many tourists mistakenly think that we are relatives or friends. Actually, this is my first time here, and I just greeted her during this break.

And the older her, as long as she saw me coming, made me very embarrassed with enthusiasm.

However, I didn't come here when I came early last year. Instead, it went directly down from Nanya Temple to Xijing Pond. I deliberately didn't want to see her. The reason for this is that she came once the year before last, and she said: Next month, the National Day is a holiday, you come to live in the mountains for a few days, and my daughter has also returned from Beijing.....

I was stunned when I heard her words. Then, inwardly resisted approaching her. It's the same today. Today it is the companions who are coming to this. Therefore, when the hostess appeared, I was sitting in a position that did not allow her to see me clearly. Later, I really couldn't dodge it, so I had to walk towards her with some embarrassment. She paused for a moment and said, "I haven't seen you for more than two years.....

Leaving the top of Dongguanyin Mountain, we went down the mountain in the direction of the other side. The nearby Nishijoike temple is also deserted. There are no practitioners in such a good monastery on the mountain because it is too cold in winter on the mountain.

When I went down to the newly repaired Jinchan Temple, I was still used to looking back at the top of the East Guanyin Mountain. The top of the mountain seen from this position is completely in the clouds, which is more visible than the position where you just ascended the mountain, and therefore more spectacular. As always, proud of how far I had been: so high, we all went up.

Passing through Tsuruba, Hokkeji Temple and Huayan Temple have practitioners. Looking at the closed door of the temple of Enlightenment. I wonder if the temple keeper who pretends to have white hair and waist-length is now back in the city for the Chinese New Year, or has he finally given up his place to let the real monks practice here?

I didn't go to either Hokkeji Temple or Huayan Temple, and my companion went to Huayan Temple. She also only takes pictures, and she, like me, is not religious. Besides, there are too many temples on this route, and if every temple is bowed down, the mountain cannot be climbed.

From Hokkeji Temple, there were only two of us on the mountain road. The other two, waiting for their companions. This crossing route is the one I am most familiar with. Therefore, my companion and I took the most reasonable path. Except for a few short sections of snowy backdrop that made us both excited, everything else was up and down the sunny slopes.

From the last temple, the path down the sunny slope is all dirt trails with a small slope. There is no silt on the path in the morning, and it is just the right amount of slightly wet and soft, and it is very comfortable to walk on it. At this time, the mountains and forests are full of sunshine, accompanied by the singing of the thick dead leaves under your feet, and you will be comfortable while walking.

The two of us walked in no hurry, and paced the forest path completely. Enjoy the quiet of the mountains and forests leisurely, and enjoy the bright and fresh air. Looking at the fluffy buds of the trees and the buds of early spring in the mountains, I clearly heard them whispering: Look at us, the green flowers are about to bloom.

Hehe, yes, then let's share the joy of their spring. In fact, we are like flowers, welcoming the arrival of spring.

At four o'clock in the afternoon, we arrived at the mountain pass and completed today's crossing. We were also the only ones in the team to cross over. For this, he won applause in the car and was named the strongest climber.

Are we two strong? Companions are really strong! Not only did she climb the mountain, but she also played a friendly role in a mission like a team leader. Along the way, I helped this outdoor team put road signs, and they were conscientious, and every time they were put unambiguously, pasted on the stickers of other teams, and the firm wind could not blow them off.
