Section 18 Seven Chapters of Western Sichuan -- A Glimpse of Western Sichuan

Chapter 1: Departure to Chengdu

The beauty of western Sichuan is desirable. I have long known that Daocheng Aden is "the last pure land on the blue planet". Unfortunately, because it is above 4,000 meters above sea level, I am discouraged. Especially after my friend went three years ago and said that she had a serious high reaction, I had no plans to go. But there is always this place in my heart, but when I think of such a high altitude, I immediately calm down. I know my physical condition. A few years ago, I went to XC to verify that I had a moderate high reaction in Lhasa at an altitude of 3,600 meters. Moreover, in the past few years, when I went to Taibai Mountain, in the Yehai Sea at an altitude of 3,590 meters, every time I went, there was a high reaction.

However, my mind changed this summer. As with going to XC at that time, I knew that there must be a high reaction. But I want to try again. Maybe you'll get through it. If you can't bear it, you will end up with no regrets in this life.

My personality is like this, as soon as I figure it out, I will go immediately. Originally, it was planned to fly to Daocheng and make a four-day round trip. Later, after seeing the route of Seda and Daocheng, I decided to go to the two places together. The red house of the Muster Buddha College is still very attractive to me.

In this way, Daocheng Aden, who had been entangled for several years, finally made a trip with his friends. The period is from August 3rd to August 11th, and lasts for nine days. The newspaper group was the so-called "boutique group of ten", which was all assembled and disbanded in Chengdu. It's even better this way, and you can eat delicious food in Chengdu again.

Now with the high-speed rail from Xi'an to Chengdu, getting to Chengdu is simply too easy, less than a four-hour drive. I departed at noon on the 3rd and checked into the hotel in Chengdu at 5 o'clock in the afternoon. The hotel is close to the Wuhou Temple, and we decided to go to the Wuhou Temple first, and then go to Jinli. These are two places I haven't been to since the year before.

It was past five o'clock in the afternoon, and there was still a long queue at the ticket window of Wuhou Temple. In the sweltering weather of Chengdu, my companions can be said to have waited in line for nearly half an hour in sweat to get tickets.

When I walked in, I saw the trees and the deep shade of the forest. I don't know if it's because I watched "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" TV, or because I had visited Wuzhangyuan in Qishan a few years ago. In short, when I visited the "Holy Land of the Three Kingdoms", I had the TV picture of "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" in my mind. always compares the statues of the two monarchs and ministers with Zhuge Liang and Liu Bei on TV. As a result, what I saw at the Wuhou Temple was far from the way it was rooted in my heart on TV, which caused me to be unable to concentrate in the main hall.

The stone carving "The Teacher's Table" still attracts me very much. The landscaping in the Wuhou Temple is also very beautiful, which left a deep impression on me. I also left a happy appearance in Xishenfang. It's just that I haven't understood the meaning of the word "happy tree" hanging on those towering ancient trees.

It was already more than seven o'clock when we came out of the Wuhou Temple, and we arrived in Jinli.

The year before last, I passed by Chengdu twice and looked at the wide and narrow lane, and Jinli was the first choice for Chengdu cuisine. There are a lot of tourists here, and they basically eat while walking. The two of us also joined the eating and drinking team. Chengdu old ice powder makes me like it very much, I haven't eaten this before, and I don't forget to recommend it in the circle of friends when I eat it.

In fact, I've always thought that what attracted me to Chengdu was its food. If you eat well, you will have a better impression of Chengdu.

Chapter 2: Kannon Temple in JC County

At eight o'clock in the morning of the 4th, after gathering at Chengdu Stadium, the seven-day trip to western Sichuan officially began. It is also said by a Tibetan female tour guide to be a "pilgrimage" trip.

This "boutique group" is small, only ten people. The members of the group come from five provinces and cities across the country, and they are all in pairs. However, I was really not satisfied with the vehicle. A sixteen-seater van with low and cramped seats. Riding for a long time makes people very uncomfortable. Fortunately, the two of us, who suffered severe motion sickness, sat in the first row as we wished. Later, the companion said that the seat pitch in the back row was tighter.

Today's destination is Guanyin Bridge, about 400 kilometers away from Chengdu.

Starting from Chengdu, the car goes up along the Minjiang River, the scenery along the way is very beautiful, the mountains and rivers are beautiful. When I saw Yingxiu Town, I was still very excited. When the car passed through Wenchuan X County, my heart was very unsettled. Here, I wish Wenchuan a better and the people live and work in peace and contentment.

Moving on, we entered Aba Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, and our vision was full of buildings with ethnic characteristics and villagers wearing national costumes. The exterior of the buildings on the roadside is the same, indicating that this is a government housing project. Then, these exterior decorations can be called luxurious high-rise houses, which proves the government's concern for ethnic minorities and also reflects the living conditions of local villagers. We were happy to see the affluent life in the area.

In such villages and towns with national characteristics, the style of the house is also different with the different nationalities. The same is that as far as the eye can see along the way, there is not a single dilapidated house to be seen.

The Tibetan tour guide also said that her home is in the mountains near Jiuzhaigou. They are also houses built with government assistance. The two-story building in the photo is beautiful, and it is basically the same style as the Tibetan buildings we see. That's a great relief. These ethnic buildings are also a beautiful scenery. We are glad that we have a lot of praise.

Between the two mountains, there are long-lost rice fields and golden rape flowers, and there are large areas of ripe barley, intertwined with the fruity orchards on the roadside, making the pastoral scenery in this area more pleasing to the eye.

Whether it is the statue of Dayu seen in the city center of Dayu's hometown, or the "Kangding Love Song" echoed in Malkang, all this makes us kind and not strange, but it is far away from us. Generally speaking, although it is a car to watch the scenery, it is also full of joy. It is a completely endless mountain, and you can't enjoy the beautiful scenery on the dam on the river road.

In the evening, we arrived at the town of Guanyinqiao in JC County. After dropping off your luggage at the hotel where you will stay tonight, take a local car to the Guanyin Temple on the mountain. This is also the only attraction in today's eleven-hour long run. By this time I was already suffering from altitude sickness.

The temple is located at an altitude of 3,800 meters above sea level on Mount Nale. The temple is located on the slope of the mountain at an altitude of 3,685 meters.

We got on and off at the small square outside the temple. The square was full of excited tourists, and I was very happy. Standing here to watch the scenery, looking at the mountains on the opposite side, the clouds and mist fluttering in the mountains, and the big six-character mantra on the hillside is amazing.

After that, we walked to the Guanyin Temple.

When I looked up at the tall and majestic purple wall and golden roof and the clean appearance of the Guanyin Temple under the platform, I was excited. I really didn't think I would be able to come to this temple in this life. In the car, the tour guide said that this monastery enjoys a lofty status and extensive influence among the Guanyin Bodhisattva temples in the Tibetan areas of the country. I didn't pay much attention to it at the time. However, after being in the future, I still feel a lot in my heart.

Today, we set out early in the morning and arrived at the monastery in the evening. It seems that today's day's itinerary is for Kannon Temple.

Therefore, when I entered the main hall, I reverently knelt in front of the four-armed statue of Guanyin Bodhisattva, and I was so excited that I was about to cry. I meditated on the prayer in my heart over and over again......

After getting up and going around the hall, standing on the side, looking up at the four-armed Guanyin Bodhisattva, looking at the Guanyin Bodhisattva who smiled at me, a warm current surged from the bottom of my heart, and joy came to my heart. I happily knelt in front of Guanyin again, this time thanking again and again in my heart......

It was already time to leave the main hall. The whole Guanyin Temple is splendid, and the whole body is splendid.

At this moment, in the monastery, there is no fatigue along the way, and the whole body is relaxed, and the heart is at ease and happy. In a sense, I loved the atmosphere of this majestic and magnificent noble temple on the mountain.

And Guanyin Temple turned out to be the only temple that entered the main hall among the many temples we visited during this trip, which we didn't expect later. It can be seen that I have some fate with Guanyin Temple.

After descending from Guanyin Temple, near the hotel, my companion and I had an authentic Tibetan meal as a treat for ourselves.

Chapter 3: Jingmei, Renmei

Although we live in SD County, I was not too impressed by this place. On the night of check-in, after seeing the night view of Sedar Buddhist College, I checked into the hotel at 11 o'clock. Waking up in the morning, breakfast was arranged at another hotel a short distance across the road to give us the opportunity to walk around the road for a while. I intuitively feel that there are many hotels in the county, the road is very wide, there are few people, the sun is very bright, the sky is very beautiful, and there are the cleanest blue sky and white clouds.

After having breakfast in SD County, we headed towards Daocheng Aden, the most important destination of this trip.

When passing by a mountain on the east side of the county seat of SD, the guide said that this is a marmot viewing garden. It may be that we came early, and they were still sleeping at nine o'clock. I saw that there were holes all over the hillside, and there was not a single marmot in sight. That didn't disappoint me. Because I saw the mountains full of flowers, some of which had not been seen in the Qinling Mountains. The vegetation on the mountain is dense, and because the altitude is too high, the slopes are full of flowers and plants.

After seeing this scenic spot, it can be said that I am about to leave SD County, and I am still a little reluctant in my heart. I would like to send my deep blessings and gratitude to the Larung Gar Monastery in Serdar that left a beautiful and unforgettable impression on me yesterday.

Although there are no fixed places to visit today. However, the scenery along the way is charming, dizzying, and refreshing.

Look at the weather forecast before departure, it rains heavily every day in Sichuan. And we entered the west of Sichuan in the past four days, every day is sunny, this is the desire for travel. Today, the sky is still blue, with large piles of white clouds floating in the sky. The golden sunlight shines on the endless meadows and endless mountains, and the view is full of green mountains and herds of yaks, driving through them as if they were in a gallery.

Stop at noon and have lunch in LH County, Zhizhou, GZCZ.

This county town, like the other counties you see along the way, is small in size, with wide streets and few people. The houses on the streets of the county town are all Han-style structures. The tour guide said that the county town in western Sichuan is now developing tourism, and the houses on the street are mainly used to receive tourists.

I love this small mountain town. The sky is so blue, the clouds are so white, the sun is so bright, and the flowers on the street are so beautiful. Immerse yourself in a world of peace and freshness.

Walking into a Tibetan shop after dinner, I was impressed by the hostess's flower-like smile and bright eyes. So, she bought her family's native ginseng fruit and drank her homemade yak yogurt. The yogurt is a little greasy and sour, and I can't get used to it. However, I had a good impression of the hostess. This is also the second time I have come into contact with Tibetan compatriots in my whole trip. The last time was at a Tibetan restaurant in Guanyinqiao Town. What they all have in common is that they always have a bright smile on their faces. If you get along with them, your heart will be infected, and you will involuntarily rejoice and smile more.

When passing through the Longdeng grassland in DZ County, we scattered a small joy on the grassland. The grass in the dragon lantern savannah is not long but very dense, and the flowers are small but very bright. The prairie is not only an oasis of flowers on the roadside, but also a beautiful flower meadow, and a place where white clouds live. I saw that on the grassland not far away and on the top of the green mountain, there were piles of white clouds, and they were also sprinkled with joy on the grassland.

I love being in the meadow full of flowers, with the blue sky and white clouds as the company. In the midst of it, I will wear my skirt and let my soul fly happily. At this moment, I am the happiest and happiest!

Chapter 4: Yala Snow Mountain and Lama River

This journey is destined to be accompanied by blue sky and white clouds, flowers and grasslands. It's really a ride, a happy journey. At this time, I understood why the locals I met in Tibetan areas had such clear eyes and always smiles on their faces. Aren't we like that now? We are always in joy, and the smile on our face is a natural face.

No, I just carnivaled in the Longdeng Grassland, and I went to the Tagong Grassland under the Yala Snow Mountain. The Tagong grassland is very beautiful, with blue sky and white clouds, and it is the legendary "Bodhisattva's favorite place".

There are many tourists here, and there is a viewing platform on the grassland.

There is a large temple on the Tagong grassland that is full of golden splendor, that is, the famous Tagong Temple, which is solemn and holy from afar. However, what made me even happier was seeing the Yarra Snow Mountain.

This is also the first time I have seen the snow-capped mountains up close in the past few days in western Sichuan. Yala Snow Mountain, with an altitude of 5,820 meters, is a famous sacred mountain in Tibet, ranking third among the five famous snow-capped mountains in Sichuan.

At this moment, Yala Snow Mountain is a god-like existence. The mountain peaks loom in the rapidly changing clouds, and their dignity is never visible. We were so anxious that we walked through the meadow and climbed to the viewing platform on the hillside, and finally saw the whole view of Yala Snow Mountain, which was really majestic. I saw that in the continuous mountains, the Yala Snow Mountain towered among them, and the whole peak was as beautiful as a crown, and the top of the mountain was covered with snow and silver light, which was beautiful. The white clouds on the mountain peak are like smoke, as if the clouds are floating out of the "crown", it seems that the Yala Snow Mountain is magnificent and mysterious, and the beauty is a sacred mountain.

I'm so lucky to be here!

Continuing to walk forward, I saw the river on the side of the road, the dense stones were carved with Tibetan characters, and there were also large Tibetan characters on the opposite hillside. The tour guide said that the river is the "Lama River", and on the hillside is a six-character mantra.

At this time, the side of the road is full of vehicles, and many tourists are taking pictures. Our car also stopped at the head of the suspension bridge, which was full of prayer flags. Walking into the Lama River, I saw that the large and small stones were all engraved with clear and powerful scriptures. Although I didn't know a word, I was deeply moved and struck by the devotion of a river full of stones with scriptures, and was moved by the devotion of the engraver.

I sat on a larger rock, and when my companion took a picture of me, I was enveloped in colorful light by the refraction of the sunlight. I prefer to say that it is the holy Buddha's light shining on me, so my heart is very happy. It was a wonderful and wonderful time.

In the evening, we rushed to the Muya Holy Land and stayed in the wooden house. The interior of the villa is luxuriously and tastefully decorated, which I loved. And stayed here again on the return trip, still in the same room. I've always been a dislike of "poor travel", so staying overnight at Muya Holy Land for two nights made my trip more enjoyable and happy.

Chapter 5: The Magical Rainbow

On August 7th, it was before dawn again. This day is to rush to Daocheng Aden.

Over the charming scenery of the mountains, remember the 4718 meters above sea level of Kazila Mountain, why those beautiful mountains can not be remembered, is the reason for the high anti. I've been suffering from altitude sickness since two days ago. Headache and eye pain. But for me, who loves to play, these are all overcome.

The scenery along the way is as beautiful as ever, the sky is very blue and the clouds are very white, the mountains are very green, the grassland is full of flowers, the cattle and horses are herds, the houses are beautiful, and the ancient trees at the head of the village are stout. The sun was shining, but the ultraviolet rays were too strong, so strong that when I was eating Tibetan food at a ranch in LT County, I saw that some of the local service staff were sunburned. We were even more uncomfortable with the bright light of the noon, and we felt that our skin was tingling, and the light was so bright that we couldn't play on the grassland.

After lunch, we departed from Litang and soon arrived at the jurisdiction of DC County, and it can be said that the style of painting has changed a little along the way. I saw a lot of "photography bases" and a lot of youth hostels. The closer it is to the Daocheng Yading Scenic Area, the more hostels with different characteristics, which are very international. There are more self-driving cars on the highway, and the roadside is full of tourists taking pictures. Of course, from here, the meadows on both sides of the road are more beautiful, vast, and more colorful, and the charming scenery is dizzying.

It is also from here that it rains from time to time, often when the sun is high and the raindrops fall. It's all coming fast and going fast. And the rain is not heavy, it is sparse.

At six o'clock in the afternoon, it rained heavily for more than five minutes. I don't know if we left the rain behind, or if the rain had stopped. In short, the sky is sunny after the rain, the sun is brighter, and the mountains are fresher. It's just that the eastern sky is very cloudy and gray. The driver said that there is a high chance of a rainbow in such weather.

I sat in the first row, and I didn't pay much attention to the driver's words.

However, as soon as he finished speaking, I noticed a color spectrum in the upper corner of the window glass. Seeing this, I said to myself in confusion: how can there be a chromatogram?

I casually looked out the window (this is also my habit of traveling, I like to take pictures outside the window, and most of the other people in the car have closed the curtains), and I actually saw a rainbow on the grass on the hillside on the side of the road! I screamed in surprise! I heard the sound of the windows opening behind me, and the people in the car screamed excitedly.

The driver hurried to stop, and we jumped down like birds.

At this time, the rainbow not far away is as beautiful as basking in the sun on the grass on the top of a hillside. This was the first time I had seen a rainbow on a hillside, and it was at eye level with me. There is also a rainbow looming in the sky. At this time, we also forgot about altitude sickness, so we ran forward, and after this mountain bag, the rainbow started from the grass on the side of the road, and the top of the half arc was clearly on the top of the hill, which was really beautiful. It was the first time I had seen a rainbow so low and so close.

A carload of people excitedly took pictures, attracting the cars behind to stop and watch.

We had enough of the half-rainbow before we got excited to get into the car. I had just driven forward for less than two minutes when I saw two cars parked in front of me taking pictures. When we drove closer, oh my God! It was so beautiful, beautiful crying, and laughing!

I saw that the whole rainbow was perfectly "buckled" above the pass between the two mountain bags, and the edge of the pass was an upward arc, slightly larger than the rainbow, and the two arcs were perfectly combined to become a beautiful "big eye" (at first I thought it was a mouth). What's more, the big eyes are very beautiful, and the lower part of it is a bright grass sprinkled with golden light, and the bright yellow grass is as bright as glass, and there are different shades of color, just like the eyes. The upper part of the "eye" is a lake like the sky.

In short, this big "eye" between heaven and earth is so beautiful, too perfect, and so amazing!

I've never seen a rainbow so beautiful! It's not even a foot away from us, it's on the side of the road. Seeing this, I was overjoyed, a little hurried with excitement, and a little overwhelmed, for fear that it would disappear immediately, and I took pictures with the beautiful rainbow "eyes" over and over again. Everyone looked surprised, and they were all smiling happily. I'm so happy that I'm about to fly!

This is really at the right time, in the most appropriate place, and what you encounter is the most beautiful! Everything is something that can be met but not sought! It is really a magical and wonderful encounter.

Therefore, everyone feels so lucky when they get on the bus. They all said: Content, tomorrow I can't go up to the milk sea of Daocheng Aden, I am content.

At first, I thought it was a joke. For a moment, I was thinking, maybe God really arranged for me to have the most beautiful scenery on my trip here? Because in the past few days, the tour guide said every day that the Daocheng Yading Scenic Area she saw in her circle of friends was full of heavy rain and cloudy days. This is not good news for me, who has been a mountain climber all year round. Experience has taught me that the beauty of the mountains can only be seen on a sunny day.

If that's the case, I'm content. The rainbow is so beautiful!

Especially in the pouring rain, when I stayed at the Pumei Art Hotel, which is the closest to Daocheng Yading Scenic Area, I believed that the most beautiful encounter in this trip to the west of Sichuan was the magical and beautiful "big eyes" rainbow.

However, the next day, the beautiful scenery I saw in the Milk Sea (as otherwise written) made me feel that this magical and beautiful "big-eyed" rainbow was the most beautiful sign, and the beauty of Daocheng Aden began here......

Chapter 6: Luding Bridge on the Dadu River

Leaving Daocheng Yading, we began to return to Chengdu. On August 9th, I was on the road all day, and my high anti-reflex returned. That is, after the altitude of more than 3,600 meters, I began to feel uncomfortable. So much so that when it came to the famous "Eighteen Turns", I was so uncomfortable that I didn't want to take photos.

On the second day, we departed from Muya Holy Land and continued in the direction of Chengdu. In the morning, I came to the only place to visit today, "Luding Bridge". I'm very fond of this red spot. In the Chinese textbook when I was in elementary school, I learned to write poems about the Red Army and the Dadu River, so after seeing the Dadu River, the scenes in the movie sounded in my ears and minds, and I repeatedly recited "Dadu Bridge Crossing the Iron Rope Cold......

I am very excited to be here today. My companion and I can be said to be reverent and impatient to walk towards the chain bridge of the Dadu River.

After walking into the gatehouse of the scenic spot and seeing the chain bridge on the Dadu River, the scene of the Red Army braving the rain of bullets and bullets to cross the Dadu River clearly appeared in front of me. The heart is infinitely surging and emotional. For the martyrs of the founding of the Republic, I would like to pay my deepest respects.

I didn't dare to go up to Luding Bridge because I was afraid of heights, so I sat on a small stool at the head of the bridge, watching the people on the bridge walk happily to the other side, and then come back happily from the other side, the scene was relaxed and harmonious. This is exactly the peace that our ancestors bought with their blood and lives! It is also the peaceful China that the martyrs are looking forward to.

When it comes to red Seda, it is a worship of religious beliefs. Then, coming to the Luding Bridge on the Dadu River is a baptism of my faith. For this reason, I once again send my noble tribute to the martyrs. We will do our best to contribute and win glory for the country.

Then, during the seven-day trip to the west of Sichuan after leaving Chengdu, I felt that it was the best arrangement from the first day of my sincere prayer in the Guanyin Temple to the last day of the red baptism on the chain bridge of the Dadu River, the red holy land.

Goodbye, Luding Bridge on the Dadu River.

Chapter 7: A Visit to Du Fu's Thatched Cottage

Our train is at two o'clock this afternoon. Yesterday afternoon, I returned to Chengdu at four o'clock, and for us outsiders, the trip continued. Last night I had another meal in Nishiki.

I was going to have a skewer meal this morning. After leaving the hotel, I told my companion: We must be half literati, we can't just worry about food, let's go to Du Fu's thatched cottage in the morning.

My companion had been there before, and I decided to go by myself, and she went to the museum to see the exhibition.

In a sense, Du Fu Thatched Cottage should be the first choice for me to visit when I come to Chengdu. Because, the "Song of the Thatched House Broken by the Autumn Wind" that I learned in the Chinese textbook left a deep impression on me, and it is still clear in my eyes. At that time, the teacher said, "The children in the same village deceived me and was powerless, and I could endure being a thief on the other side, and openly hugged the grass into the bamboo......"

I was so sad that I burst into tears. In the picture that comes to mind, a thin old man, with his hair blown by the wind, chasing the village boy and shouting. At night, he was covered with a "broken quilt as cold as iron", and he was a very pitiful and persecuted great poet.

At that time, I never imagined that a few years later, I would be in the location of "The Song of the Thatched House Broken by the Autumn Wind". Therefore, during the visit to Du Fu's Thatched Cottage, I always imagined the life of the great poet here.

Now the "thatched hut" is still there, and the bamboo forest is on the side. In the front yard of the floor, a woman in a Tang costume is playing a guzheng, and several other young people who are also wearing Tang costumes are waving and writing "The Song of the Thatched House Broken by the Autumn Wind". The scene is elegant and fresh, and it has won the applause of all visitors. I laughed happily at such a scene. Because, if the scene of "village children hugging the grass and going to the bamboo" is reproduced, it will be funny.

In a peaceful and prosperous era, the sound of the piano is the yearning of the great poet Du Fu. The thatched hut in front of me is the dream of a great poet fulfilled by modern people.

Then, the poet must not have imagined that today, thousands of years later, his "thatched hut" is still there, and it is so beautiful, realizing the life that the poet yearns for.

Seeing this, the image that remained in my mind was taken away by the beautiful sound of the guzheng playing. I was glad that I had come at a good time and saw the poetic "thatched hut".

I walked on the flower path with relief and pleasure. I like the "Shadow Wall of the Thatched Cottage" at the end of the flower path very much, and I think it is full of poetry. When the tourists helped me take pictures here, the poet's sentence "The flower path has never been swept away, and the pengmen is now open for you" came to mind. This scene, this situation, this person, is really appropriate. I laughed happily and left my joy here.

Then, this nine-day trip to the west of Sichuan (August 3rd to 11th) ended in the poetic Du Fu Thatched Cottage, which is the most perfect.

Thank God everything was for the best!
