Section 6 Fengyu crosses the Jianshan Meridian Valley
Entering April, the weather in Xi'an is like the mildew rainy season, with rain at both ends for three days. The temperature also fluctuated, which made me feel troubled. Because I'm thinking about the white cuckoo plum on the mountain. This year, there are no decent white cuckoo plums seen on the land beams. In the previous week of the peak flowering period, due to a week of heavy rain, all the flowers were crippled.
At that time, I met a familiar mountain friend on the beam, and they crossed from the small land beam of the Meridian Valley. Tell me that in the Cuibei Mountain behind Huangyu Temple, the white cuckoo plum has not yet bloomed, it is full of flowers and bones, and it is expected to bloom in a week. And said they would go back next week. When I heard that, I decided to go see the white cuckoo next week. Imagining the white cuckoo plum blooming all over the mountain, I just want to laugh happily in my heart. Of course, the premise is that it doesn't rain again next week.
As a result, not only did it rain non-stop this week, but it was also impossible to go up the mountain on Saturday. Fortunately, the rain stopped on Saturday evening. Then I will go to the mountain that I agreed to last week.
People who have never climbed the mountain always think that the mountain is slippery and difficult to walk after the rain. In fact, this is a misunderstanding. It's really the situation that the mountain roads are better to walk after the rain. On the contrary, the longer the weather is clear, the dry sand on the hillside becomes slippery, and the more difficult it is to walk up and down the hill. Therefore, the mountain road is wet and soft after the rain. However, dirt slopes are different. For example, the large slope behind Fengde Temple turned out to be fertile terraced fields, and the loess on the hillside was so sticky that it was impossible to lift your feet after the rain. The barren mountains and forests are all sandy and gravelly soils, or mild desertification after weathering.
Then, those who climbed the mountain after the rain should know this common sense.
After the rain, I climbed the mountain in Fengyu, basically from the Pure Industry Temple. This side of the mountain is a stone staircase road at the beginning, and it is very easy to go up the mountain. But when I went down the mountain, I basically didn't go from this side, and the steps hurt my knees too much.
It's cool today after the rain and it's in good shape. There are more than 1,000 steps to go up to the main hall of the Pure Industry Temple, and it takes more than 20 minutes to easily reach the Pure Industry Temple. After a short break, the official descent to the mountain began. On the way to Wat Pho, I met two people, and they should be accompanied by the conversation. I asked them if they would like to cross to Meridian Valley, where the white cuckoo plum blossoms are blooming, and one of the two of them crossed this road several times. Then the elder who knew the road readily agreed. Later, another lone wanderer joined in. In this way, the four of us who acted alone formed a small team with the same goal.
When I walked to the land beam, I saw that the sea of flowers that had wilted last week was no longer there, and the flowering period had passed. The expected falling Ying Colorful did not reappear. The petals on the branches were cleaned by the heavy rain for a week, and they all washed down the hillside and turned into spring mud under the forest. Occasionally, a few ears are also waterlogged out of the water, soaked in water. I speculate that the side of Cuibei Mountain in Huangyu Temple should be the same. However, I decided to go and have a look.
It may be the reason for the rain, but after going up the mountain from Huangyu Temple, there are fewer climbers. Last week, the crowd didn't make it back. The two mountain friends who told me that they would come again this week came, but they didn't cross over, but went to Meridian Valley to pick locust flowers.
I have only crossed once from Huangyu Temple to Ziwuyu, and that was the year before last. I haven't walked the line to the small earth beam today. Two of the four group members are beginners, enthusiastic but timid. This is very good, lest they be able to walk too fast and pull me in a hurry. The gentleman who knew the way was also very good, and he basically followed my pace when leading the way back and forth.
Starting from the side of Cuibei Mountain, it is all drilled in the dense forest, the mountain road is very easy to walk, the soft and hard are moderate, and it is very comfortable to walk. However, there are many forks in the road here, and walking on the mountainside in the middle of the mountains makes the view limited, and the relative danger increases. Once wild boars are infested, some are very unsafe. There are also two cliff-like stone slopes, but fortunately, a good Samaritan put a rope here, and it is safe to climb down.
The slopes of the mountain are indeed full of white cuckoo plums, and the flower mountain is still very beautiful from a distance. Up close, the petals of the blooming flowers are covered with rain and water droplets, and the flower spikes are glued together, and it is almost rare for the petals to stretch. It's not bad, the mountains are full of white flowers. It can be said that we are passing all the way through the mountains and flowers.
From Huangyu Temple to Xiaodiliang, we only met two people who crossed over from the opposite side. And after reaching the small land beam, there are many climbers. The small earthen beam, in my opinion, is really not very good, it cannot be called a beam, that is, a larger and relatively flat pass.
It was only a little after one o'clock in the afternoon to the small land beam. It takes less than two hours to get out of the mountain from here to the Golden Immortal Temple. Descending the mountain so early is really not enough. Besides, the weather is cool today, and the mountain roads are easy to walk. So, the four of them decisively decided to move on and march towards the highest point of the mountain. This is the best choice for me, I have never been to Xiaodi Liang, and Jianshan has only looked. It was still eleven years ago, and when I first started climbing mountains, I used to train my legs in this area.
Jianshan looks very high, and I don't feel too difficult to climb it. On the way to the dumb place, the man who led the team climbed up, and felt that it was not easy to climb the top of the peak after the rain, so he didn't go up. The three of us came for the first time, and on the way we all agreed that there were too many forks in the road, and all of them were drilled in the woods, and there was no scenery. The decision is no longer coming. Therefore, the decision was made to go to Jianshan.
Eagle's Eagles were unplanned for today and a windfall. Therefore, the three of us were in high spirits. However, this section of the summit is very steep, and it is an abrupt and independent mountain, so the three of us still move forward cautiously. In the last steep climb, the trio worked together to climb up.
It was mainly two lads who helped me climb up. Thank you two friends.
There is standing water under the summit and some mud. Before we could climb the rock wall of less than two meters and reach the top of the pinnacle, we decided to give up. Although it was easy to climb with the help of a broken branch on one side, it was too difficult to get down from the slippery stone, and safety was the first priority. But the three of us felt like we had reached the top. I feel very happy to be able to go up to the highest Jianshan Mountain, and see the mountains competing for peaks in the fog, and the mountains are stacked on top of each other.
What makes me even happier is that I actually met a white cuckoo plum tree on the top of Jianshan Mountain, which bloomed just right, with flower branches, jade white petals, and porcelain white flower buds, only blooming full of brilliance, which is the most perfect white cuckoo plum tree I have seen this year. There is also a very large white cuckoo plum blossom, the petals are white and thick, decorated with crystal water droplets, which perfectly interprets - steadfastness and holiness. What a surprise.
This is where we have not yet arrived, and we never know what scenery awaits us.
At six o'clock in the afternoon, we arrived safely at the Golden Immortal Temple in Meridian Valley.
So far, the trip lasted 9 hours and 21.6 kilometers to complete. 2019/4/21
