Section 3 The Iron Temple of the First Snow
After the snow, walk up to Taixing Mountain
I have known Taixingshan for almost two years. Pen | fun | pavilion www. ο½ο½ο½ο½ο½ο½ γ infoThe reason why I remember it and want to go is because of the Ming Dynasty Iron Temple placed on the top of the mountain. The travelers who have been there are amazed, and they don't understand how the Iron Temple was put up. They are all strong donkeys, but the steep mountain that leads to the Iron Temple deters them. "People can't get by, how did you go up to such a heavy iron temple in ancient times?" is what I heard many times repeated by my fellow travelers who have been to Taixing Mountain.
The more they talked, the more curiosity I had. But they said that it was too dangerous there, and going to Daxing Mountain was to see the Iron Temple, and the scenery was average. Therefore, I always thought about it, but I didn't put it on the itinerary to go immediately, but I just felt that I should go in the second half of this year.
This week was supposed to go back to Caolianling, but it was arranged on Wednesday. I didn't expect the rhinitis to be unprecedentedly severe on Friday, and my head hurt. At noon, I had to notify the cancellation.
By the afternoon, the symptoms had subsided. I am embarrassed to mention going to Caolianling again, and at the same time, I am 'superstitious' that this Caolianling will be my 'Waterloo'? I decided not to go to Caolianling again this year. Ha ha......
I don't go there anymore, the best place is still Fengyukou, I really want to see my clouds.
There are accidents in everything. In the afternoon, Lavender, a traveler who had not been in touch for a long time, called to ask me about my leg injury, and at the same time asked to go hiking together (I went to Dongliang and Jiawutai with her, and her strength was above me). We started to choose a place on the outdoor website, and we saw Daxing Mountain. When I see it, I want to go. That's my only goal for the year. Cheng (lavender) later did not make the trip.
At about nine o'clock in the evening, I suddenly remembered that the traveler told me that a few years ago, on the way to the Iron Temple, a traveler fell down on a stone staircase and died. Thinking of this, I was stunned. This is the first time that I was scared before I set off.
Unexpectedly, the wind roared and wrapped in rain at night, the hissing was so loud that I couldn't sleep, and the windows kept blowing open. Seeing such bad weather, I felt a sense of pleasure in my heart, thinking that I would not be able to go tomorrow, which was great.
I woke up at seven o'clock in the morning and saw that the wind and rain stopped outside the window, and it was a cloudy day. Called and asked, the climb was not canceled. Then go for it, you can't break your promise. When I went downstairs, I found that there was still wind, and the temperature had dropped, and it was cold. I have to go to the cold.
Arriving at Taixing Mountain Pass, the first reaction after getting off the bus is to shrink your neck, the cold wind is swishing, and the cold gets winter. I was wearing only a pair of quick-drying pants, and I felt a biting cold. I'm sure the travelers who came with me were wearing only one pair of pants. Last night's strong winds cooled down, leaving us underestimated.
Everyone was cold, so we got out of the car and walked briskly up the hill. That's when we found a thin layer of white in the vegetable patch on the side of the road, which I thought was frost. When we walked forward, we found that it was not frost, but snow. It was so unexpected. All of a sudden, they were all excited. Compete to take pictures on the light snow. In the face of the first snow of the year, only I know how happy I am - happy and happy.
The further you go into the mountains, the thicker the snow becomes. What time it snows here, we don't know. I felt that the air in the mountains was exceptionally fresh, and at this time the sky was clear, the sun was ambiguous, and the sunlight reflected dazzling light through the trees on the snow, and the snowflakes became smiling faces and colorful leaves on the snow, making this place a fairy tale world.
Ouch, I'm so happy. The first snow of the year met in the Qinling Mountains, which was really God's best arrangement!
I was so happy that I couldn't walk, and I couldn't stop laughing. I also saw the ice hanging that is rarely seen in the city, it is so beautiful, like a curtain, it is the curtain of the boudoir, you see the tender green in the curtain, how coquettish. And the grass arching out of the snow is like a naughty child, and it is as happy as we pass through the season.
How can you be so blessed! In autumn, you can walk in the snow, if you don't climb the mountain, how can you encounter it, and such a white first snow can only be presented in the depths of the Qinling Mountains. Think about the people in the city at this time, they didn't even think about the snow? Hehe, it really answered the words of a friend: happiness is what we strive for.
It's so worth it to come to Taixing Mountain to climb today! This unexpected snow makes me happy to have everything. Maybe it's because I'm a little naΓ―ve when I'm happy, but I enjoy the star treatment several times on the way, and multiple cameras focus on me. I can't care so much, I'm glad I'm doing it, you guys do what yours, haha......
When he was happy, suddenly a frightened shout came from behind, "Quick, come on, someone, someone has fainted!"
I knew it was the female traveler, who had fainted twice in the mountains. Ten minutes ago, I noticed that she had a strange facial expression and left her chocolate. Maybe I knew that she had fainted, but I stood and looked at it from afar, but I never passed, and I couldn't see it clearly if it was too far away. And I'm alone without a past. I didn't go because all the people had passed, and I was at the front of her, at a distance. There is another reason, and one more reason why I didn't go to the end: I think of the traveler who was rescued in the mountains three years ago, and who ultimately failed to save his life......
Fortunately, ten minutes later, everyone started moving forward again.
In the first dumb mouth, I saw the first temple I saw when I came to Daxing Mountain. Here again, everyone's point of view is that the most beautiful place of famous mountains and rivers must be a place for cultivators.
The location here is good, the temple sits on a dumb mouth, the mountains on both sides are towering like sentinels, and the front and back are wide and unobstructed away from the peaks. It is also this smoothness that makes this place a wind tunnel, and the cold wind that runs through the temple is tearing out, making us cold here and nowhere to wait.
The fellow travelers said: Why did you build a temple here, you froze to death.
I found that every window here was nailed tightly with plastic sheeting, and after reading it, I smiled knowingly: "The monk who chose the site here must be a southerner, and he enjoys the cold air conditioning here in all seasons." Maybe it's a fire monk, so it's fun to be cold. β
The thin pants on his legs, standing here, felt the cold and biting, and the cracks of his bones hurt. I had a plastic poncho in my bag, and I really wanted to take it out and use it as a 'greenhouse' or window paper.
I still remember the name of this temple made of stone, but now I forget it when I write it. Before I came, I knew that the temples here were all iron tiles, and some people said that the iron tiles were the Ming Dynasty, and Bill Porter's "Empty Valley Youlan" said that it was the Tang Dynasty.
There are a lot of these ancient iron tiles scattered around the walls of this temple. The shape is complete, the size is the same size as the bricks and tiles I saw in my grandfather when I was a child, 'Qin bricks and Han tiles', which let me see the history here. These iron tiles, which have gone through thousands of years, tell us the longevity of this temple and tell us the inheritance of practitioners here.
When I saw the fairly complete iron tile, I felt a little bit in my heart: the existence was so intact, and the degree of rust was far less than I imagined. Location, Ingredients, Craftsmanship?
When I saw the iron tiles, I longed for the Iron Temple even more. The Iron Temple is three temples away from this temple, and the last three temples are on a higher hilltop. At one o'clock, I decided to have lunch here and had my fill of Chongxiang. In front of the temple, I hurriedly drank a cup of cappuccino, warmed up, and ate a few pieces of chocolate and peanuts left by Miki. Suddenly the strength of the twelve points.
A few travelers who were eating hot pot on the side didn't let us mean. I was also very repulsed by the smell of their pots. Isn't this a sour grape in my heart?
The servants were full of food and stopped climbing up. And when I and my female traveler (the screen name is charming wrong), we didn't know which direction was the way to continue up, and a traveler came up in time, he was a group of outdoor leaders, pointed us in the direction, and led us forward.
This fellow traveler is very strong, and told us that he went up to the Iron Temple in July this year. Listening to his words, I speculated even further: where people can reach, things must be able to go up.
"When you saw the Iron Temple, do you understand how it was put up, isn't it amazing?" I asked curiously.
"I don't understand, it's so heavy, it's so dangerous for people to put it, I really can't understand how to put it on. As he spoke, he gestured with his hand that the temple was on the top of the mountain.
Then hurry up and go and study the scriptures up close. The upward road is dangerous, and with the snow and ice, I am a little scared when I walk. Carefully ascend to the temple.
If the location of the temple just now is good, then this temple is where the gods live. The temple, whose name I have not yet remembered, was built with its back to the top of the hill (the mountain became its back wall), thus sheltering from the wind ducts. There is a large courtyard in front of the temple, and the edge is a cliff. A corner of the courtyard is planted with chrysanthemums, yellow flowers are gorgeous, and there is a large stone table and four-sided benches in the center of the courtyard.
We put down our gear and sat down. In this quiet courtyard, the sun is basking in the ocean, looking at the mountains like a sea of clouds in front of me, I suddenly feel the fairy spirit fluttering, I sit in the clouds. I was happy for a while, and I didn't know what gestures to make, just like a fairy among the gods: this place is so beautiful!
The courtyard is so beautiful, this large hall made of stone, spacious and tall, and modern, such a courtyard is too unusual on such a high mountain. It was the same as the previous temple with a locked and empty gate, so I couldn't connect with the temple. I just feel that at this moment, we are the masters of this courtyard. In fact, the people who come here are basically the masters here. This is because this is a place where practitioners who come and go stop and stop. And when we climb the mountain and come here, it is also a form of life practice.
The companion said, "You will really look like a fairy, looking at you from this angle, your demeanor and posture are too fairy." "They kept taking pictures of me in both directions.
"We are immortals!" I said happily.
I just don't understand, since I'm sitting here so immortal, why don't they just be immortal? Is it because I, the only immortal, or do they have other concerns? How can I let them sit down and be immortals, they both shook their heads. I see, they can't consciously 'become gods'! haha......
I don't care so much, boss, I will never waste my time when I should be a god, haha......
It was also in this courtyard that the male traveler (known as Yang'er) pointed out to me the iron temple. Thanks to meeting him today, (the picture in this article was taken by the strong donkey climbing the iron temple at that time, thanks to him. Otherwise, the two of us don't know where the Iron Temple is going. Also, if it's cloudy and foggy today, you won't be able to see the Iron Temple from this location. Good luck!
At a glance, I saw the shape of the Iron Temple, and I had the answer in my heart: this is a cabinet structure. If people can go up, the Iron Temple will definitely be able to go up.
From afar, the Iron Temple is at such a majestic top. So, if you want to go up to the Iron Temple, I don't have the ability or the guts.
The male traveler said: Go to two more temples, and we will be very close to the Iron Temple.
Let's go. These two temples are the highest peak in Taixing Mountain: 2340m in the sea, known as the first peak in the south.
When I arrived at the first peak in the south of the mountain, I realized the steepness of the mountain! The stone ladder was hewn out of the mountain, and there was a cliff on one side. The steepest part of the stone staircase is greater than 80 degrees, and the width can only accommodate one shoe parallel. Because it is too dangerous, there is an iron cable.
But the snow had covered the stairs and froze. Coupled with the high sea, it is cold and windy here. What's more, halfway through the temple, the male leader was called down by his teammates, who carried their team's chopping boards and dumpling fillings, and everyone hadn't eaten yet.
When he went to deliver the bag, he told us that he had returned to accompany us to the last two temples. As a result, when we met him again, he was eating dumplings under the first temple on the dumb mouth. Of course, under his 'hospitality', my companion and I ate their dumplings, which were delicious and filled with shepherd's cabbage.
Continue climbing the mountain. Now it's just the two of us, there are no footprints in front of us, and there is no sound of speech in the back. We started to climb up, with our companions in front and me behind. I grabbed the iron cable and went up carefully, but I didn't expect that there was no iron cable next to the more than ten stone steps from the top. In addition to the narrower stone steps, they are also shorter, less than 60cm, and the last dozen steps are almost vertical, and the snow on them is harder, and you have to try many times before you dare to lift your feet every time you go up.
As I climbed up, I started to worry about how I could get down if I didn't catch it when I came down? It was too dangerous. By this time my companion had gone up, and I climbed up clumsily like a bear. Before he could stand firmly, his companion said, "It's still a stone staircase." β
As she spoke, I looked back at the stone staircase I had just climbed up, and oh my God! It was too dangerous! There was a cliff beside the stone staircase! I concluded that the donkey friend who fell and died must be in danger here! Later, after going down the mountain, I verified that my judgment was correct.
It's terrible, as long as you slip your foot when you go down the mountain, you will definitely die!
We were near the top of the mountain, and the wind was so strong that it almost blew us up. I immediately told my fellow travelers, "Don't go up, give up rushing to the top." It's too dangerous. β
The companion said, "Come and take a look, this is better than the stone staircase just now." And it's not far from the top temple, just a few meters. β
"No, the danger is that the stone staircase we just went up is so difficult, and it is even more dangerous to go down. If we go further and come back here, the snow will freeze harder and be more slippery. Hurry down, it's just the two of us on this mountain, once something happens, I can't even think about it. I said firmly.
The companion did not insist any longer. Going up the mountain is like this, once you walk together, you have the feeling of being dependent on each other.
I started to descend first, and the almost vertical step at the top, I didn't dare to support it with my feet, so I had to sit on the stone steps to increase the force surface, and then move down with both hands. It was a difficult process, and I was also scared, because gravity, coupled with the center of gravity being too high, leaned forward and fell, so I couldn't get up and change my feet for a while. Just when I was not knowing what to do, I noticed that there was a small bush to scratch on the side of the cliff. That's great!
When we went up the mountain, we didn't notice it because we climbed up with our hands and feet and our heads down. With these branches, it was immediately much safer. Of course, every time I grabbed a small branch, I tried it hard again and again before I dared to borrow it. When there is a rope, the heart that hangs is all down.
My companion said, "I rarely give up climbing the mountain." β
"I'm the same, but not today, I looked back at the cliff over there, it was terrible. Once there is a mistake, there is no chance of survival. Also, I didn't find any branches to scratch on the ladder when I went up the ladder, otherwise I might not have given up. "I didn't feel in my heart that it was a mistake to give up.
"I didn't see any branches on it. Also, I didn't look down. It's right to give up, it's safety that matters. The companion said understandingly.
"We saw snow and the Iron Temple unexpectedly today, and we came down safely. No regrets. I said contentedly.
"However, I'll come back next year when it's hot, and I'm going to see the Iron Temple up close. "I didn't tell my companion the real reason for coming, and that is that I was going to unravel how the Iron Temple was placed!
The reason why I am like this is completely determined by my personality. I don't believe in unscientific explanations and inferences. Firmly believe: where people can go, people can create miracles, but there is no magic!
Unexpectedly, just when we were about to leave Taixing Mountain, it made my climb to an infinite and successful end.
No need to come to Taixing Mountain to explore the secrets!
The process went like this: when we went down to Yukou, the car that picked us up had not yet arrived. The biting cold wind was so cold that we went to the farmhouse at the foot of the mountain to take shelter.
Seeing that the door was open on the side of the road, we went in. This is a stove room, and you can feel the residual heat in the hearth. Regardless of hygiene, he sat down on the threshold.
After a while, a middle-aged man returned, presumably the owner of the house. If you disturb others, you have nothing to say, "Fellow, have you been to the Iron Temple on the mountain?"
The fellow said in Guanzhong dialect, "Have you been up, a Bodhisattva is enshrined in the temple, and I also put five yuan." β
"Yes, do you know how the Iron Temple got up?"
"It's not easy to get up, but there's a way to get up. I don't know how the Iron Temple got it. The iron temple is not too big, and it can squat into a person. β
"Oh, that's big, is it 1.5 meters tall?" I asked.
"That's no, not that high. "As the fellow was gesturing, I remembered that I had seen the unusually clear shape from afar.
I pointed to the cabinet by the door of the house, which is found in almost every family in the local countryside, and asked, "Is it the same as this cabinet?"
"Yes, yes, yes, as it is. The fellow said affirmatively.
Ha ha......
I know how to go up to the Iron Temple!
Thank God, you have heard my heart again. Worried that I would come again, let me untie it this time. This incident also shows that the purpose of mountain climbers is different, and it is not how difficult the answer is. It's just that most people just look at it from afar, and if one god conveys the gods, they are divine. There are also some and a few people who have gone up, just to challenge themselves to a more dangerous and higher goal, and they don't want to be in the Iron Temple. There are also a small number of people, after seeing the iron temple, they are like pilgrimages, and they are bodhisattvas in their eyes.
In short, people who are interested in the answer are often the ones who can't go up. And I went to the vicinity of the Iron Temple today, and clearly saw the shape of the Iron Temple, and I happened to meet someone who went up to the Iron Temple and was ready to correct the shape and structure, which is rare.
And that's what happened to me. It's all so ordinary. Once again, I insist that wherever people can go, any man-made landscape is normal!
In this regard, I am more objective than Bill Porter, the author of "The Hollow Orchid".
Then, there are miracles in the world, and this miracle is the magic of nature, such as: the Tiansheng Bridge of Guifeng Mountain, the flying stone of Hulongyu, etc., in the face of these, we don't have to delve into it, just appreciate and sigh.
The trip to Taixing Mountain has solved the doubts I have always had, which have made me entangled. There is still a tangle in my heart, looking forward to being solved again in the mountains of the Qinling Mountains. But the next one to unravel, maybe I will never get an answer. I'm going to unravel what the hell is going on?
