Verse 11 Witness the thousand-year-old kiss of the eagle's beak
The Eagle's Beak Cliff crosses the bald mountain meadows
I've been to this route of the Eagle's Beak Cliff through Bald Head Mountain twice. The first time was on April 20, 2012, five years ago. At that time, this line had just been opened, and the forest was very deep, and it was necessary to drill back and forth from the arrow bamboo forest. The road is also very long, except for the obvious trail when descending from Zuolonggou, the rest is all on the path that is difficult to distinguish between wild beasts and medicine diggers. At that time, from the dumb mouth under the eagle's beak cliff, I saw a large area of the hillside, almost no weeds, a large number of overlapping hoof prints and droppings, and many shiny patches and circles of polished places. Teammates say it's an open enclosure where the animals rest at night.
The enclosure is also too large, and it is estimated that hundreds of large animals should make their home here. These are really imaginative, and everyone is rushing through.
After we left the resting grounds of the animals, we continued through the arrow bamboo forest and came to the rhododendron tree. The shady rhododendron forest is very large, and the entire hillside is covered with no end in sight. It's just that it's not yet flowering, and the green crown is full of flower bones.
Walking deep into the rhododendron forest, I saw an open and gentle area larger than half a football field, the ground seemed to have been ploughed, the soil was soft, and the arches were pitted everywhere, and the layers were covered with large and small hoof prints. Almost all the trees in the field were broken at the waist, and the thick trees with thick bowls were not spared, and the stubble sticking to the hair was white and terrifying. Obviously, this has become their fighting arena. The stubble is fresh and white, and everyone speculates that it is a "masterpiece" left by the fight of large animals, which should have happened not long ago. A tree with a thick bowl mouth can be broken, so you can see how big an animal it is. This scene shocked us, and scared me to follow my teammates closely and move forward in panic. Passing through the forest, all the way are like frightened birds.
It wasn't until I walked to the Bald Head Mountain broadcast station that I was not afraid. At that time, I didn't expect to see the azaleas again, and I didn't think about coming back. In addition, the crossing was very successful and complete, and I went to the top of the eagle's beak cliff and also to the bald mountain meadow. It wasn't until three years later, in August of last year, that I came again. However, I didn't go up to the eagle's beak cliff that time, and I didn't see azaleas.
Now, five years later, at the right time for the alpine azaleas, I re-follow this route to see what color the rhododendrons bloom here.
This time it was a group of three, and they had never been here. Therefore, the mood of the three people who are looking forward to cherry blossom viewing is the same. When I came outdoors with Antelope in August last year, I walked a somewhat different section of the road than the first time I went there, and it was very difficult to walk. Among them, you have to pull a rope to climb the cliff, which is really scary. Today, when I reported this route, I made up my mind, if we still want to pull the rope, then we will go to the left dragon ditch to return. So, I asked the team leader in the car and got a definite answer not to go off the cliff. This is very good, if you return from Zuolonggou, it will not pass through the rhododendron forest.
After getting off the car at Toad Gully, I started today's climb. All the way up, I didn't come to the cliff. It's just that I don't know where we went wrong last time, how did we get to the cliff? However, this road is still a bit deserted, and there are some small dangers, many times we are climbing on the rocks, and it is very tiring to climb up.
Fortunately, it was not too hot today, and the scenery along the way was also very good. From a distance, the mountains are all green, and the green is eye-catching. Looking closely, the newly spit buds and freshly drawn branches, and the light red buds and leaves of a tree in the tender green goose yellow, make the mountains and forests green out of the layer, which is very beautiful. It was also found today that on the mountain road from the toad ditch to the eagle's beak cliff, there are many tall nest-like flowers and plants, some people say that they are wild peonies, and my companions and I can't figure it out, thinking that it is peony, but it is different from the peony we see on other mountains, those peonies are single-headed, and what you see here are a nest of flower branches clustered, and each branch is a number of flower buds. We came earlier, basically with buds waiting to be released, only a small number of grinning mouths, revealing a little red, which is very gratifying. If these were peonies, it would be spectacular when they were in full bloom. Therefore, there is also an expectation in my heart, and next time it is best to catch the blooming season and see what kind of peony flower it is.
Continue to climb upward, and look up to see the eagle's head of the eagle's beak cliff raised in the green bushes of the mountains, watching us walk towards it affectionately. When I saw it, I was excited. It's much different from when you look at it from afar. When I look at it from afar, I always feel that it is persistent and lonely, and it is so persistent that it makes my heart a little sour. At this moment, when I walked under it and looked up again, I was more moved, very excited, I felt that it was not alone today, we were all by its side, and I couldn't help but smile when I saw it focused.
This time, it was found that on the ground facing the eagle's beak, there was a human-like stone more than two meters high standing opposite it. The stone man is a thousand-year-old watchman, or an admirer, but he has never snuggled up. There is a half-meter distance between them, which makes people feel a little sad to see. I imitated him, pretending to be "climbing" up the Eagle's Beak Cliff, so as to achieve zero distance integration, and left me and the stone man in front of the Eagle's Beak Cliff the same action, when I did it, I thought this scene was very funny. Think of the stone eagle looking at us from above, is it happy to cheer me on at this time, or is it laughing at me for being naughty? Maybe it smiled and narrowed its eyes and said: That stone man has been my companion for a thousand years, you don't have to be amorous, distance will produce beauty.
Haha, you're used to it, I'm not satisfied. Over the years, as long as I saw you standing on the top of the mountains, looking like you were watching for thousands of years, I was always uneasy in shock. I always think that you are so affectionate, but so lonely. Today, although I found that there is a "stone man" waiting for you, I always feel that it is not the object of your watch, because your eyes are always looking into the distance. And I hope and believe that the one that is worthy of your thousands of years of waiting and looking forward to must exist!
Then I won't disturb your concentration.
Continue to move forward, the road is more difficult to walk, around the eagle's beak cliff mountain, climbing rocks and climbing, after several difficulties up to the dumb mouth. When I arrived here, the field of vision was broadened, and I also saw two azalea trees on the edge of the cliff blooming pink, which was very beautiful. The flowers are too far away from us to be seen. These two trees are like messengers, indicating that the rhododendron forest in front of them must have bloomed.
However, we are not in a hurry to see the azaleas now, and the first thing to do is to go to the top of the eagle's beak cliff. I came in August last year, but I didn't go up for some reason. Today's little friend Jin Ling is here for the first time, so we must go up. Hyacinth, on the other hand, is physically unable to do so, so he consciously rests here.
The eagle's beak cliff is a separate hill protruding from the mountain beam, resembling a giant eagle, and has a realistic eagle's beak to get its name. It is the highest symbol of the mountains in this area, eye-catching and magnificent, magnificent and eye-catching. When Jin Ling and I walked through the low arrow bamboo forest towards the Eagle's Beak Cliff, we saw several people on it preparing to retreat, and when we walked to the mountain, they all came down.
We climbed up from the "back" of the eagle's beak cliff. What you see in front of the eagle's beak cliff is a huge stone mountain that is vertical, which is a lifelike eagle's beak and torso that is 100 meters high. The raindrops of the years washed out the deep and shallow, large and small unevenness on the stone, just like feathers, making it more realistic for the masterpieces of the craftsmen who chiseled and chiseled the sculptures. The back is full of large rocks and steep slopes. To get to the top, you have to climb these huge pebbles that have weathered the wind and rain. There is no grass on it, this may also be the work of the craftsmen, the tail feathers of the eagle are very large feathers, compared to the fluff on the neck and chest, the back is the giant feathers. Therefore, with a relatively large stone stacked into a feather tail, it is vivid, it is really a unique work of ingenuity!
The eagle's beak cliff on top of the mountains is beautiful, but it is not easy to get to the top. The difference between these large and small "feathers" is too large, and the stone surface is flat, making it difficult to grasp. Five years ago, when we came up, there were a lot of people, and everyone cooperated with each other, and we went up smoothly. The top is flat, resembling a wide and flat eagle's back. The wind was strong above, and I felt that it was going to blow people up, so scared that I didn't dare to stand, let alone stand on the stone by the eagle's beak like other travelers, and posed for a photograph. That time, no matter how scared I was, I always got to the top.
This time, my companion and I were halfway up the climb and shuddered when we saw the huge rocks again. I was scared, so I decided to give up rushing to the top, which is also what I have always insisted on never taking risks. When we retreated, we were so scared. At that time, I took my companion's arm and asked her to go down first, and she tried it repeatedly, and soon began to tremble. Because the eagle's beak cliff can be said to be a high mountain on the flat ground, there is no transition around it, and the cliffs on three sides are hundreds of zhang. The foothold of the descent is only a few feet away from the edge of the cliff. After she went down with difficulty, I sat on it, looking at the cliff at my feet, trembling with fear, not daring to move, and tossing for a long time before going down.
After going down and standing firm, I still have palpitations, I'm really glad I didn't insist on reaching the top just now, otherwise how would we have come down.
Eagle's Beak Cliff, goodbye. I like you very much even if I can't go up, and I continue to be moved and moved by your persistent millennium watch.
Two
Continuing to move forward from the dumb mouth is to walk in the direction of Bald Mountain. This section is all walking on the slope of the arrow bamboo forest, drilling around, and the small bamboo pierces the face. But compared to climbing on steep rocks in the morning, it can be said that you are walking on a flat avenue now. Walking on such a road, coupled with the height, the vision is broadened. There was no difficulty, and we just had fun walking.
On this side of the hillside, there are rhododendron trees in full bloom, and the flowers are even more vivid against the golden arrows. Every time we meet it, we are excited and take pictures. My aim: not to miss a landscape, not to wait for a tree to bloom.
Since in this section of the arrow bamboo forest, the rhododendron trees are scattered in the arrow bamboo forest, away from the trail, we have to look for it. As we were walking, we saw a beautiful rhododendron on the beam above, so we turned around and looked. Standing on the mountain beam, I found that this position is clear at a glance to the eagle's beak cliff on the opposite side, and the height difference is very small, almost in a line, and there is no cover. There is also a large rock on a slope more than one meter wide, and Jin Ling sits on it to take pictures. I suddenly found that the two were in a straight line, and quickly asked Jin Ling to adjust her gestures, so that her hand happened to be "together" with the eagle's beak in the distance, and then I took a picture of the eagle's beak with my hand, which was warm and moving, it was so wonderful! Haha, it made me laugh excitedly.
This scene is something we would never have imagined when we looked up at the eagle's beak cliff for so many years. No matter how rich my imagination is, I would never have imagined that our hands could "cares" the eagle's beak above the ten thousand blades. This made the three of us happy, and over and over again in this position to leave a perfect photo with the hawkbeak.
It wasn't until I saw that the other teammates were gone, so I urged the two companions to leave quickly, but I didn't have enough time to cross. Jin Ling said that it was worth it if we couldn't cross it, so we took a photo of the eagle's beak cliff.
That's right, I'm so happy. This is the first time they've been here, and this is the third time I've been here, and it's only this time I've found such a picture. We were able to "stroke" the olecranon. It is a bold presumption that we must be the only three people we have "touched" since the Eagle's Beak Cliff.
I'm so happy and so lucky. It excites us so much that we can't move.
However, having said that, the road still has to be rushed. We went downhill again to the normal road and continued on. Not long after walking, we found a few rhododendron trees blooming on the top of the slope above, so we folded them up again to watch. After climbing uphill, I found that there were many rhododendron trees under the hillside, which bloomed into a flower hillside.
When the two companions took pictures, I found that there was a huge boulder hill on the mountain beam, and a neat stone surface stretched out on one side, in an inverted T shape, unusually flat, as if artificially processed, and the top corner was also pointed out, like a bird's beak, and more importantly, the direction happened to correspond to the eagle's beak cliff in the distance. And the two are only two kilometers apart, there is no shelter between them, and they are also high on the top of the mountain, clearly facing each other.
This scene made my heart flutter, and I quickly began to move the camera to find a position. Oh my God, there is a magical scene, the two mouths kiss together in the shot!
God, how could this happen! My heart was beating faster!
It turns out that the thousand-year-old watch of the eagle's beak cliff is not an empty guard. Its "companion" is not far away, thousands of kilometers away! Such a miracle can only be said to have been created by God!
I really opened my mind today! It was I who completed their thousand-year-old kiss, and it was also I who solved the mystery of the thousand-year-old watch of the eagle's beak cliff. What an amazing self!
So far, the three of us are very happy, especially for the first time. And I was even more excited, and I was so excited about my whimsical sense of the picture, and I praised myself!
It's the right time to come to the right place, and what you see is the best. The first two times, because it was not the season for the rhododendrons to bloom, when passing through these two places, it was normal to not see the specific situation above, and not to see this ingenious stone. It will not climb to the mountain beam for no reason, and everyone's attention when they come here is all on the slope to see the mountains and mountains below, and they will naturally miss the wonders on the beam. Therefore, if it weren't for the bright azaleas on the top of the beam that attracted us to look at it, if it weren't for the love of flowers, if it weren't for my rich imagination, then what we see today would never have happened.
That's exactly what happened, the whole team took this beautiful picture for us!
However, I also thought that maybe every time I looked up at the eagle's beak cliff, I felt a little sad in my heart, and felt that it was too lonely. I once wondered if it had lost someone, promised someone, or broken the covenant in one of its lives, and God had made it watch over it for thousands of years. I feel sad every time I think like that, even the hour before that. Perhaps it was my childishness, or innocence, that moved God to arrange for me to uncover the mystery of the watch today, to fulfill and comfort each other, and to prevent me from continuing to grieve my spirits. Because God always hears the voice of my heart.
I hope that's the outcome.
Of course, this is also God's way of rewarding hard work. When we appreciate it with sincerity, the mountains also give us the perfect scenery. What we met and saw really made us feel extremely lucky, more grateful for God's love, and moved that everything was God's best arrangement.
Well, thank my God, for making me so lucky to have come across all this!
Continue to enter the dumb meadow, where the arrow bamboo is low, so that the arrow bamboo forest that has not fully rejuvenated is as spectacular and beautiful as a ripe wheat wave. Standing here, we saw the rhododendron forest in front of us from a distance, and it was dazzling in the sun, which immediately made us happy again. It seems that today is the right time to finally see the flowers of this rhododendron forest.
Approaching the rhododendron forest, we are walking under the canopy of flowers. The rhododendrons here are all tall, and in the harsh cold climate, the rhododendrons of the fittest are all working hard to grow into a bouquet form, and they have a beautiful corolla. A handful, a bunch of upwards, as if dedicated to the blue sky and white clouds, blooming colorful, bright red and bright.
The rhododendron forests here are mostly the same as those on other mountains, mostly pink and white. The difference is that there are some very bright peach, a tree is red, delicate and beautiful, like a girl's blushing face, we are full of joy. The one who is red in the white is the dignified lady, that is, the "queen of flowers".
However, when I saw the trunk of the tree, which was as hard as iron and twisted as an iron pestle, I was in awe, and sighed that such a beautiful flower could grow in such a harsh environment. I don't know if the azalea tree grows on the highest mountain on earth, but I saw that the azalea is a flower that blooms in the highest part of the Qinling Mountains, and can only be seen at an altitude of more than 2 kilometers. Therefore, when I saw that there were many rhododendron trees in the rhododendron forest with thick diameters that an adult could not hold, I was spontaneously filled with admiration. Their trees are more than hundreds of years old, grow here, and bloom every year. Year after year, only this season did I catch a glimpse of the flowers. Moreover, this crossing line has only been developed for six years. Then, these hundreds of flowers bloom every year, whether you come or not, I will bloom a tree. This is not a lonely self-appreciation, but dedicated to the guardian of the mountain and the blue sky and white clouds that give sunshine and rain and dew, but also to themselves, so they have become the queen of flowers, the most beautiful among flowers!
Every time I face such beautiful and beautiful flowers, I will sigh at the greatness and fairness of the Creator, and allow the rhododendron trees to grow in a harsh environment, such beautiful flowers, which are amazing!
When we walked to the middle of the rhododendron forest, there was a dead tree lying down on the path, and when the three of us sat on it to take a nap, we saw that in the empty and tall forest, we were like being under a huge flower shed, and like a flower house, surrounded by flowers, so beautiful that it was intoxicating, beautiful like a dream!
At this moment, I was excited and muttered to myself: so wonderful, it is really a fairyland on earth, I have this time, it is really a beautiful life!
