Times Square, New York

I climbed the mountain last week, and it's time for a walk this week. The first choice must be New York's Times Square.

I thought about the way to get to Times Square the other day: go. From 121st Street, where I live in Amsterdam, to 46th Street, do I count how many streets I have crossed? Why do I want to walk there, first, I want to see while walking, and in addition, in China, I usually climb mountains on Saturdays, but now I walk to Times Square in New York.

Set off on time at one o'clock in the afternoon, facing the non-stop breeze in New York, along the Amsterdam Avenue all the way south, uphill and downhill often have the feeling of climbing a mountain. An hour later, I arrived at Lincoln Square on 69th Street, and saw the three bright red letters on the top of the building. CNN made me a little excited, and all my attention was on it, and there was no big interest in the square garden.

I was almost done taking pictures, and I hurried forward, and there were more than 20 streets. The road ahead is all straight, and when I got here, there was a turntable, so I had to stop and study my positioning map to see that I didn't seem to understand, and I was worried that I would go somewhere else, so I went to ask the two policemen on the side of the road. The police are so enthusiastic, language and gestures, the 46, is the left hand 4, the right hand 6, repeating in the mouth, hand gestures, for fear I don't understand.

As I turned the corner, I turned my head and saw the two policemen looking at me with their heads stretched out and giving me a thumbs up. Hehe, seeing them like this made me laugh.

The police were delusional when I asked me about the details and underestimated me. Because I have a very interesting phenomenon, that is, when I go to the mountains, the countryside, and the township, I basically turn around, but when I go to the big cities, it is magical, and I never turn around. New York is a big city, so I won't turn around, haha.......

Moving on, there were more people on the street, and when we reached 49th Avenue, it was already crowded. The streets are filled with excited smiling faces: Times Square has arrived.

The Times Square in front of me is as wide as two roads, which is completely different from our Tiananmen Square, and it is not as big as the school playground. But the towering towers that surround it highlight its important location in New York, and the neon advertisements of the world's most famous brands flicker on both sides, showing the economic value of the place.

I didn't go to any of the famous, mostly tourist-friendly shops on the side of the road, and I was bent on getting to the place I longed for——— in the middle of Times Square, the place where people watched during the New Year's countdown.

It's finally here!

It's right in the middle of the road and it's an advertising tower, just not as tall as I see on TV. That's the reason for the choice of the picture, and I'm here at the moment, and it's not a beautiful building that flashes into the clouds. I thought to myself, that's what makes people so excited on TV.

However, when I walked forward again, took a picture of the lower advertising tower and turned around again, I couldn't move anymore.

I stood excitedly in front of the tower, raised my head and smiled! I laughed so much that my heart blossomed, and I became a touch of scenery in the eyes of other tourists.

The reason for the happy smile is that I saw the top of the tower, and the red Chinese characters flashed so dazzlingly: Xinhua News Agency, Xinhua Net, Zhongguancun, Shandong propaganda films, and our national industry Gree air conditioning! When the two bright red characters of 'Gree' appeared, my heartbeat accelerated, and when the leader of Gree, Ms. Mingzhu, followed closely behind and appeared as the spokesperson for her own business, my blood must be boiling at this moment, I raised my hands and gave a thumbs up!

I proudly looked at the window advertisement over and over again, and the high-profile images of Chinese elements one by one, my heart was swept by the tide of happiness and excitement. At this moment, my proud Chinese face made passers-by smile sincerely and follow my gaze to look at our advertisement. My sincere and happy face made those friends from other countries who helped me take pictures give me a thumbs up: You, China, beautiful!

Two: 'God' moves the spirit

When I woke up on Monday morning, I rolled up the curtains and saw the white clouds outside the window full of blue sky.

I've always been happy when I see clouds, and I'm happy. Now that the clouds are so beautiful, how can I stay in my room for a minute longer.

So I happily went downstairs, I wanted to see my blue sky and white clouds.

When I got downstairs, I saw that the sky was clear after the rain. The clouds moved rapidly and mightily, as if they were going to the southwest to deal with some urgent matter, and I was anxious to see it. On the way to the campus, I wondered if I could see more clearly in the park on the other street, so I climbed the hill to the park, and saw that the clouds were very high today, all overhead, and felt that it was not the best place to see there, so I went back to the campus. During the process, I looked up from time to time at the rushing white clouds, and when I returned to the location of 121 Amsterdam Road, I stopped to take pictures. After the shooting, I continued to walk forward, looking at the rushing clouds as I walked, and walked to the intersection of 120th Street, the street in front of the Columbia Law School, and when I looked up again to take pictures, I suddenly saw the building on the opposite side of 118th Street and the law school building moving forward rapidly! Looking at the speeding building, my head was a little dizzy, and for a moment I thought I had dizziness, and I felt a little nervous. I stopped to calm myself, then looked away and noticed that the pedestrian walking along the wall in front of me was not moving. Looking at the building at a rapid pace, it immediately became clear that the frame of reference had drifted.

I quickly looked up at the sky, and sure enough, the clouds in the sky were still!

This scene is so mysterious, it can also be said to be a miracle!

However, although I knew the principle, I was still panicked, worried that the process would be too long and lead to some other problems. I also know very well that this kind of 'swapping' phenomenon of heaven and earth is very difficult to encounter again in this life. So, after taking another look at the speeding building and the still sky, I turned my gaze to the place under my feet and walked straight ahead, and after passing the law school building, I looked up again, and the white clouds in the sky were flying so fast!

Hey, it's really interesting! From sitting in the car in the past and looking at the trees outside the window backwards, to today's heaven and earth frame of reference is reversed, I have convinced myself!

The day was 11.16 in New York. On this day, I finally scared myself with a sense of anger!
