Section 17 Pray for eternal peace in Korea
I was almost all asleep along the way. First, I got up too early and was really sleepy, and secondly, there was no scenery along the way, it was all a thick green, the crops were green, and the mountains were green. The soil and mountains are not high, the vegetation is very good, and they are full of miscellaneous trees, so it looks a little messy, not as big as the Qinling alpine trees. Walking along the way, looking out the window for a while is boring. I woke up from a nap and looked out the window as if I was in the same place. The only difference is that there are many rafting spots on the way, which gives me the feeling that Northeast people love rafting.
I couldn't sleep, and I was listlessly looking out of the window, and suddenly saw three big red words written on the boulder erected on the side of the road: Yalu River
I woke up from a dream and shouted, "Yalu River," and the tour guide said, "Yes, yes." Look, this river is the Yalu River, and on the other side is North Korea. ”
Ah, this is the Yalu River! Why is it so narrow, and the width is the width of a four-lane road, which really subverts the impression that the "Yalu River" has been in my heart for a long time.
However, I don't have time to argue about the width of the Yalu River now, and my attention is all on the other side of the narrow Yalu River.
The whole car was full of people like me, and everyone was in high spirits and interested. I happily looked at the Yalu River, at the thick green mountains on the other side of the Yalu River, the slopes and the bottom of the mountains were full of green crops, white houses in the fields, some North Koreans were working in the fields, and I also saw large cars driving by on the main road in the fields.
I saw the women washing their clothes with mallets and mallets on the riverside, and some people fishing in the river, and I saw a pair of young men and women sitting in the grass by the river, and they looked like a pair of lovers. Their appearance made the people in the car laugh, so romantic.
The picture is beautiful, warm and harmonious and intimate. It's like going back in time, back to when I was a kid in my hometown, when women used to wash their clothes in the water like they do today.
The car continued to move forward, and saw that the houses on the opposite bank were connected together, and there were many buildings, which was the third largest city in North Korea, Huisan City, which is separated by a river in Changbai County, and it was a quiet residential area in the car, and the green space around the small city was all farmland, and it was growing very well. The mountains are also full of green croplands, and they are cultivated to the top of the mountain, and they are rarely exposed. Yes, it must be stone. The ground on the mountain is connected by patches, and the path is clear, and it looks very beautiful.
In addition, the fields on the high hillside were full of large Korean characters planted by crops, as clear as the big characters written by the pen. I don't know Korean, and I can't guess what is written. But we know the other side of the shore and see better than they do.
All this makes me curious and kind to the North Koreans along the Yalu River. We are separated by a river, and the river is so narrow. The people of the two countries are so close that they can talk without speaking loudly when they stand on both sides of the strait, and they can throw the bud potatoes by the river to each other to share with each other with a raise of their hands.
From this, it became clear that Japan has always insisted that "war will never be allowed in Korea." Yes, we are not allowed! We are too close, and the crops planted on both sides of the strait are the same, and we can see each other clearly and clearly a few rows of seedlings in the field.
Although I was able to see the scenery by car, I was able to see the life of the North Korean border people up close, which was the biggest reward of this trip for me. Therefore, the subsequent trip to the Wangtian Swan Scenic Area was boring, and I also felt that this trip of more than seven hours by car was also worth it.
Finally, I would like to pray that the DPRK will be forever away from the war, and that the villagers of Changbai County on our border and the people of Huishan City in the DPRK will live and work in peace and contentment on both sides of the Yalu River forever, and the friendship will last forever!
