The "Huai Electricity Transmission to the East" is more advantageous than the "Huai Coal Transmission to the East" in that the "Huai Coal Transmission to the East" only transports the coal resources in the Huaixi region; in addition to building a nearby pithead power plant to convert the local coal into electricity and transmit it, it can also fully develop the hydropower resources in the upper reaches of the Zhujiang River -- while in the western Huaihai region, the thermal power and hydropower resources are fully developed, which can not only be transported to the coastal areas of East China that lack electricity, but also support the development of local industry and agriculture......

Of the three large-scale cascade power stations planned in Huaishan City, the installed capacity of the Longshui Power Station alone will reach one million kilowatts, with an investment of more than 3 billion yuan.

When the construction of the Long Hydropower Station will officially start depends on when the construction of the ultra-high voltage backbone power grid in charge of the Jiangdong Provincial Electric Power Group will start, but this approach road alone can greatly improve the traffic situation in the southwest mountainous area of Huaishan City.

The relevant work began in the autumn of last year, and Huaishan City was also in charge of the relevant work by Yang Kai, the deputy mayor, and the progress was very fast, and it is expected that by the end of July, the approach road will be completed and opened to traffic.

In addition, one of the most important tasks that require local responsibility is resettlement.

After the completion of the dam of the Long Hydropower Station, the lift will reach up to 120 meters, and a large reservoir will be formed in the upstream and tributary rivers that will extend for more than 10 kilometers. Nearly half of the residents in Longshui Township and Wucha Township upstream have to move out for resettlement.

To this end, Dongjiang Electric Power will cooperate with Huaishan City to first build a new resettlement town that can accommodate 30,000 people in the south of Huaishan City, and if the second and third cascade power stations in Huaishan City are to start construction in the near future, the resettlement town will eventually expand the living scale by 60,000 or 70,000 people.

Huaishan City, on the other hand, has set aside the initial construction land of the new town, and even wants to build an industrial park relying on the immigrant new town, but when this supporting project will officially start construction, it still depends on when the construction of the ultra-high voltage backbone power grid between Jiangning and Huaixi will start.
