Chapter 15: Hagrid's Cabin
Harry and Ron were muttering quietly, while Evan and Hermione sat on the other side of the table.
"He's handsome, isn't he?" Hermione whispered.
"What?!" Avan was a little surprised, and he followed her gaze to Lockhart sitting in the teacher's seat, and he realized who Hermione was talking about.
"The Order of Merlin, Third Class, Honorary Member of the Anti-Dark Arts League, and a five-time winner of the Wizards' Weekly Award for the Most Charming Smile, not every wizard receives these honors. Hermione's eyes were almost heart-shaped, and she took out a copy of Traveling on a Ship with Vampires and buried her head in it, "We have Defence Against the Dark Arts class in the afternoon, this is Professor Lockhart's first class at Hogwarts. ”
"yes, he's an amazing wizard. It's a shame that the first grader won't have the opportunity to hear his class until tomorrow. ”
Although he said so, in fact, Evan was very happy in his heart.
He remembered exactly what would happen in Professor Lockhart's first class, and he didn't want to be attacked by a bunch of Cornish elves. Hopefully, this lesson will leave Lockhart with enough lessons to not bring these things that he can't control into class in the future.
Soon, the group was separated after lunch, and Harry, Ron, and Hermione were going to Lockhart's class, and there was no class in the afternoon of the first year.
In the Gryffindor common room, Evan worked with Fred and George to finalize the newspaper's promotional poster, which was written with slogans in bold text, the content of the newspaper's submission, requirements, manuscript fees, and how to order and price.
In order to expand his influence, Evan is going to give away the first issue of "Hogwarts Wizardry and Wizardry" for free, as long as the content on it is exciting enough, it can attract young wizards to continue to order, and develop little by little based on it.
After Fred and George left, Evan declined Colin's invitation to play a game of wizarding chess, and he went to the library to find materials, just to prepare articles for the history section of Hogwarts Wizardry and Wizardry.
He plans to divide this section into two sections, one part is titled "Hogwarts in History", which focuses on the major events that have happened in the history of the school.
The first issue is about the Big Four working together to create Hogwarts.
These are detailed in A History of Hogwarts, but Evan believes that there are many young wizards who don't know about it, at least Harry and Ron have never read the book.
Moreover, he was not prepared to write exactly what was in the book.
He wanted to discuss some details with Professor Binns, so that wizards, whether they knew this history or not, could find something new in it.
As for the other part of the history section, it is called "Dusty Memory".
This section is mainly used to introduce the lesser-known side of Hogwarts graduates, and Evan has not yet decided who to write about in the first issue.
He had intended to write about Dumbledore, but he couldn't find any information about the Headmaster other than what was known to everyone.
As for the other well-known figure, Evan had found a lot of information related to Tom Riddle, but he didn't want to be thought that he was promoting Voldemort, and he wouldn't be invited to Azkaban for tea.
"Who should I write about, first of all, this person must be famous enough that all the little wizards can know him, and he can't be a dark wizard. ”
All afternoon, Evan sat in the library, laboriously flipping through the Hogwarts memorabilia and graduate lists, each of which was thick and stacked taller than himself.
Mrs. Pince, the librarian, looked at Evan sternly, trying to figure out what the student was going to do. She had never seen a freshman sit in the library on the first day of school and look through these boring history books like Aven.
At about three o'clock in the afternoon, Ginny came to find Aven.
"Aven, I heard Colin say you're here. Ginny gasped, "I just received a letter from Hagrid inviting us to his cabin. ”
"Well, I'm going to take a break. Evan rubbed his eyes, stood up and returned the book in his hand, the contents of which were so dizzy that he hadn't decided what he wanted to write all afternoon.
It wasn't until the two of them walked out of the castle gate and breathed in the fresh air outside that Evan was a little more sober.
"Aven, I heard Hermione say that you're going to start a newspaper?"
"yes!" Evan nodded, "You did remind me that I could use this opportunity to talk to Hagrid about Hogwarts Wizardry and Wizardry, and I'm sure he would be happy to introduce the furry critters in the Forbidden Forest." ”
"yes, that's right!"
Ginny looked at Evan with admiration, "A newspaper, that's amazing, I've never heard of a student doing anything like this." ”
"Nothing is impossible, it's all the result of everyone's joint efforts, your brothers have helped me a lot, as well as Hermione and Harry. ”
"Of course, everybody's there, I mean, I can help if I can, as long as you don't mind. Ginny said with a slight twist.
Evan looked at the little girl funny, and he decided to tease the other party.
"Ginny, running a newspaper is not an easy task. Evan said in a deliberately serious tone, "You know, we only need the best wizards. ”
"I think I see what you mean, Aven!" Ginny bowed her head.
"Haha!" Seeing her appearance, Evan couldn't help but laugh, "Don't be stupid, Ginny, I was about to invite you over to help Hermione, there are so many manuscripts, she can't do it alone." ”
"But, as you said, you only need the best wizards!"
"Our Ginny is the best!"
Evan smiled and said, "And Harry is also there, he's in charge of the Quidditch plate, and if you come, you'll have a lot of opportunities to contact him." ”
Evan saw Ginny blushing and nodded, and before he could turn the conversation to Tom Riddle's journal, the two of them came to the outside of Hagrid's cabin.
As Evan knocked on the door, he heard a nervous struggle and a few muffled dog barks from inside the room, followed by Hagrid's voice.
"Back off, tooth, back off. ”
Hagrid opened the door open, and Aven had just seen his big bearded face. In the next second, a large black hound burst out of the crack in the door.
Evan was pounced, Tooth Tooth lying on top of him and licking his ears. Behind him, Ginny screamed in horror.
"Don't worry, get up, Tooth!" Hagrid walked over and pulled the hound up.
Evan stood up, wiped the saliva from his face, and circled around him happily.
Like Hagrid, this hound is not as fierce as it seems.
