Chapter 1: General Walker

There were a few white clouds floating in the blue sky, accompanied by a light wind, swimming forward. On the ground is an endless grassland, and the blue of the grass and the blue of the sky are connected to each other on the horizon, as if there is no end to it.

"Boom, boom", a noisy sound of horses' hooves came. About a hundred cavalrymen in heavy silver armor, long axes, and cross-shaped swords at their waists roared by.

They marched in batches in strange shapes, and the green flags in the middle were particularly dazzling. The majestic eagle pattern on the flag spreads its wings in the wind, like an eagle that only needs to catch its prey.

In the middle of the procession, a cavalryman with a sword inlaid with dazzling rubies was tightly guarded from all sides, his outfit was the same as that of the cavalry around him, and there was no difference between him. But seeing him sitting in the center, directing the direction of the entire team from time to time, a discerning person can immediately understand that he is different.

The cavalry was moving in an orderly manner, and suddenly on the horizon in front of the procession, a cavalryman in the same costume as the team was holding a small red flag and rushed towards the team.

"The order went down, and the line paused to wait for my orders. The unusual cavalry gave the order, and the organized procession quickly stopped as if it were a complete man, waiting for instructions on the next step.

The cavalrymen quietly watched their comrades holding small red flags from far and near, passing through the ranks to the different cavalry.

"General, it has just been ascertained that the patrol soldiers of the fourth and sixth squads of our army were indeed attacked by unknown opponents and were all killed. The corpses are ahead, and the enemy has set up strange enchantments that make it impossible to investigate further. The cavalryman with the small red flag spoke in a sonorous voice, and there was a hint of anger in his tone.

"It seems that the enemy is not taking us seriously! I want to see how good they are. Pass on my orders, speed up, and all men are ready for battle. The general was displeased, and clenched the sword with the ruby at his waist.

"You lead the way in front. ”

"Yes!" the scout cavalry, who was holding a small red flag, put away the small flag in his hand, and galloped to the front of the group.

The cavalry rushed forward quickly up a gentle slope with a large number of cavalry and horse corpses scattered below.

"Be careful of the enemy's situation, pay attention to vigilance!" The general gave an order, and the cavalry team immediately prepared for battle and marched forward vigilantly.

After a while, the team slowly entered the area where the corpses were distributed.

"General, our warriors have apparently been attacked by some giant creature, and judging by the traces of corpses, all the horses' heads have been torn apart entirely......" One soldier was reporting his thoughts to the general.

"Watch out for the heavens!" the general suddenly shouted, drawing his sword and pointing it to the sky.

A dark shadow in the sky was smashing towards the ground.

"Bang!"

With a loud bang, a huge barrier protected all the cavalry.

After the loud bang, the shadow vanished.

After a long pause, there was no movement around.

"General, I'm sorry, I just neglected!" "The cavalryman who was in charge of reconnaissance before came over to apologize to the general.

"No, it's not your responsibility, it's me who almost overlooked the important information you gave me. The general still looked around vigilantly, "Pass on my military order, quickly probe and see if the enemy still has any ambush left!"

"Yes!" Hearing the general's order, the cavalrymen worked in groups of four and stuck their swords on the ground.

"Report to the general that nothing unusual has been found!" after a while all the cavalry made a good probe and reported to the general.

"Don't let your guard down! Our opponents are very cunning. Everyone continue to be vigilant, and I will take a look at the situation. The general said and dismounted.

"Come with me and have a look!" the general ordered, pointing to the scout just now.

"Yes!"

The scout listened to the order and dismounted and came to the general's side.

"Did you spot the enemy's strange barrier when you were scouting?" the general glanced at the scout, then at the corpse in front of him.

"Report to the general, I did find out just now. The enemy's barrier enveloped the corpses of our soldiers, making it impossible to approach. The Scout paused, then continued, "But when we came here just now, the barrier disappeared, so ......"

"I see, it's a trap set by the enemy. The general seemed to be thinking. "It seems that our enemies are more merciful. He set up the barrier just to stall for time and kill some of our pursuers. But he was afraid that he would hurt someone who had no intention of breaking here, so when you came to investigate, his barrier was not activated!" After a pause, the general said to himself, "No, it may not be merciful. The enemy anticipated that our army might send people to reconnoitre, so it was set that the barrier mechanism would only be activated if multiple soldiers appeared. After speaking, the general immediately focused his eyes on the corpse in front of him.

"Our people are well analyzed, the enemy is a giant creature. And if I'm not mistaken, it's dragons in the sky who want to sneak up on us!" the general came to a preliminary conclusion.

"General, it seems that the eagle sent by the headquarters is ...... in the sky" There is a guard next to it, and the soldiers around have spotted their comrades from the sky.

"It seems that there is a new discovery at the headquarters!" the general glanced at the eagle in the sky, took out a strangely shaped whistle from his pocket, and when the whistle sounded, the eagle in the sky fell and landed next to the general.

One of the soldiers took out a small piece of paper from the foot of the eagle's ground:

"Please come back quickly after the investigation is completed, there is an important matter to interview!"

After reading the paper, the general turned and got on his horse.

"The whole team collects the troops, General Walker tells us to return quickly!"

"Yes!" replied the warriors, quickly resuming their formation, and the hundred or so cavalrymen left in groups in as organized as they had come.

The sky gradually darkened, and a marching tent was densely packed in the field, and the military camp was heavily guarded.

"The general is back!" a soldier reported to a tent.

"Please come over early, I have something important to discuss. The man in the tent replied.

After a while, the general walked into the tent with a sword inlaid with rubies, still wearing heavy armor, with the sound of creaking armor.

"It's really inconvenient to move in armor!" the general said, and took off his helmet, revealing his silver hair and handsome face.

"It's really a blessing to have armor to wear, and people with disabilities like me can't wear armor if they want to. Across from the general sat a man who looked exactly like him, dressed in a simple linen robe, and said jokingly.

"Alright, my General Walker. I, a man with legs, is about to break my legs, and I want to sit in a tent like you, and win a victory thousands of miles away!" said the general, taking off his armor as he took off his armor, and the big piece of iron seemed to be frighteningly heavy.

"That's a lot of nonsense, you hurry up and take off this big piece of iron, I have something for you to see!" General Walker, dressed in a sackcloth robe, pulled a letter out of his pocket.

"Right away. Having removed all his armor, the general walked up to General Walker's side, only to see that the letter read:

"General Walker: Princess Lillian has recently appeared in our country, and according to the agreement between our country and the current king of your country, she should have been put to death. But unfortunately, the number one master of your country, the powerful cat, broke into the court and robbed Lilian, which coincided with the defection of two dragon knights in our country and failed to capture her. I ask General Walker to convey the message to your king and express my country's apologies. In addition, if you find two dragon knights who have defected from our country, please help send them back to China for processing, because the dragon knights have a special status, they need to be executed in public to set an example. Long live the friendship between the two countries for generations!

"What do you think about this?" asked General Walker, seeing that the general had finished reading the letter.

"I feel that it is these two dragon knights who have clashed with my border patrol soldiers in the past two days. The general pondered for a few seconds and spoke.

"Looks like a big discovery?" General Walker asked, looking at the guy who looked exactly like himself.

"Look at this!" the general said, handing his sword in his hand.

General Walker took his sword in his hand and poured his magic into the ruby, and a dragon apparition appeared on top of it.

"Hmph, thanks to us, we have this holy sword, which can seal magic. The enemy's magic is quite ruthless, and it should be the masterpiece of a high-level dragon knight. General Walker looked at it carefully and commented.

"It should be these two dragon knights who clashed with our patrol soldiers......"

"I'm afraid things are not as simple as the letter says!" General Walker's eyes shone brightly, "They are throwing stones to ask for directions! First, they want to probe the reality of our army, and second, they want to take advantage of the present time to develop their forces into our country!"

"Is it so insidious?" the general asked, surprised, General Walker.

"Big brother, this letter is extremely hypocritical. You see, according to their agreement with the current king, Lilian's capture should also be returned to our country for execution, but they didn't ......"

"You're saying they're going to help Princess Lillian?"

"It's possible!" said General Walker, leisurely, "but these unprofitable fellows, counting on them to help Princess Lillian, must pay a corresponding price." As far as I know, the princess is not a person who can offer this kind of price, so it is more likely that they want to use the princess status to make a fuss. ”

"I kind of understand that the so-called defection of the two dragon knights is actually the person they arranged to make a fuss. ”

"It has to be. The powerful cat is the number one master in the Peacock Country, but it is just a joke that it is impossible for a little cat to snatch people from the law field. Their wishful thinking was good, and they thought that if they failed, they would let us send the two dragon knights back, but there was no way to do this. In addition, he wrote this letter to tell us to report to the king what had happened in their country. This guy is trying to see if we will help the princess or the king! Actually, he took off his pants and farted, although the new king is in a strange situation, but to prevent the country from making a big mess, we still have to side with the king for the time being. ”

"Now to ensure the stability of the whole country, only our two brothers can do it!" the general said after a moment of contemplation, and a little sadly.

"Who made both of us call Walker, both of them are General Walker, the god of war in the hearts of the people!"

After the two Walker generals finished speaking, they looked at each other meaningfully and smiled.
