Ringing the bell is like this, and the drum beating also requires one hundred and eight times, and the drum beating is particular: 'tight eighteen, slow eighteen, unhurried and eighteen'. In short, there are a lot of rules, but when you come to our temple, the teacher doesn't want to set too many rules for you, so you can knock on one hundred and eight times. After all, no matter how many rules there are, it depends on sincerity. Of course, the rules are not bad, on the contrary, he is very good! Because ringing the bell is boring, few people can persevere, and those who persist must be sincere.
