448 Blue House Invitation, the Center of Korean Politics!
"Swear!"
Wang Zhong looked at Williams and said word by word:
"Swear solemnly to your Lord that if you break your oath you will go to hell and never be saved!"
"I swear to the Lord Almighty that I will not stop the spread of Taoism in Korea, and I will not maliciously slander and attack the teachers and believers of Taoism, and if I break this oath, I will forever fall into the world of Lucifer and never be redeemed by the Lord!"
Williams clenched his teeth and said with a look of humiliation.
Wang Zhong's words hit him exactly seven inches, so he had to bow his head and admit defeat!
As soon as Williams's words fell, a force that everyone couldn't see suddenly fell, as if it was a chain, connecting Wang Zhong and Williams!
This is the power of the oath, and it is also cause and effect, as long as Williams breaks his promise, there will be punishment from heaven and earth immediately!
Ordinary people rarely value promises, but in practice, they value vows very much, because as their power increases, their every move is sensitive.
Everything they say is cause and effect, and if they speak falsely, they will be punished by heaven and earth!
This is also what Buddhism says, the Bodhisattva fears the cause and will never succeed in his life!
In the legend of the New White Lady, the White Lady also once warned Xiaoqing, "It's just that the Bodhisattva is afraid of the cause, and all beings are afraid of the fruit!"
Many people have heard this phrase, but how many people can really understand?
There is no love without a reason in the world, and there is no hate without a reason. Everything has a cause and effect. Things in the world are just a string of causes and effects, but alas. People are staring at the "effect" in their eyes, but they can't always see the "cause", and some people like to ask the monks or functional people in the temple to look at their "past life cause and effect". In fact, "cause and effect" does not need to be observed. Because "if you want to know the cause of the past life, you will receive it in this life, and if you want to know the cause of the future life, you will be the one who does it in this life." If you look at what you are doing now, you will know what you have planted before, and if you look at what you are doing now, you will know what you will get in the future.
As the old saying goes, "sow melons and get melons, plant beans and get beans". Three-year-olds can say it, but 70-year-olds can't really understand it, because the "fruit" is obvious. But the "cause" is difficult to detect. But what's worse is that it is precisely that "cause" that we can control. In the face of the "fruit", we can only bear it. There is a saying in Buddhism that "Bodhisattvas fear causes, and sentient beings fear effects." Meaning: Wise people. He who is afraid of "causes" and has no wisdom is only afraid of "effects" and is not afraid of "causes" because he cannot find "causes". The world is complicated, the relationship between cause and effect is not so easy to discover, which "effect" corresponds to which "cause", it takes a pair of wise eyes to see thoroughly.
In Buddhism, "cause and effect" are closely linked to "karma". It is called "karma", and if "karma" is said to be a seed. "Yuan" is the sunlight, rain and dew required for seed growth. "Cause" needs "fate" to bear "fruit", just like a seed needs sunlight, rain and dew to germinate. In this life (in fact, there are thousands of lives) countless seeds of good and evil are planted, some of which have sprouted, and some of which are still buried in the "soil", which is your subconscious, which is called the "field of eight consciousnesses" in Buddhism. Good "causes" can make good "causes" sprout. Evil "causes" can also make evil "causes" sprout, and "spreading good causes" can ripen the "good causes" and let them sprout early, and at the same time can inhibit the "evil causes" and delay them from bearing "evil results".
Therefore, wise people will desperately plant "good causes" and desperately form "good karma". However, people who are confused cannot distinguish which are "good causes" and which are "good karma". It is said that people are smart now, but in fact, there are many smart people, and it is estimated that five out of ten are smart people, and the "Nanhua Sutra" says that "the skillful work, the wise are worried, and the incompetent have nothing to ask for", and the smart people are sad and hard, because the smart people are busy separating and judging all the time. So being smart won't help you, only wisdom can help you. If you can really understand cause and effect, and do it strictly according to it, and work hard from "good causes" and "good karma", you are really smart people.
The above worldly law is also suitable for Taoist friends who have cultivated the worldly law, "Lengyan Sutra General Trend to the Bodhisattva Reciting Buddha Yuantong Chapter" in "Remembering the Buddha and reciting the Buddha, now when you come, you must see the Buddha", desperately chanting the Buddha is in the cause, every Buddha number, as long as it enters your ears, will sow a seed of future Buddha in your "Eight Consciousness Field". Desperately sprinkle, desperately sprinkled, it will be difficult to think of Amitabha Buddha in the future!
"Who won the battle between the archbishop and the grandmaster?"
Who was not a human spirit present, although the two spoke very little, but everyone could roughly guess the cause and development of the incident. Now they care more about the results!
"Of course it's the grandmaster, you haven't seen that the archbishops have made an oath and will no longer interfere in the development of Taoism!"
"You don't even understand how simple it is!"
"It's really an eye-opener, I didn't expect that the Great Grandmaster is so powerful!"
"yes!"
"Yes, even the Cardinal is no match for him!"
Williams listened to the crowd and wanted to find a crack in the ground to get into. I originally wanted to suppress the arrogance of Taoism this time, but I didn't expect it to become Wang Zhong's stepping stone!
However, his embarrassment did not last long, because the presidential envoy arrived, and the president invited Wang Zhong to the Blue House for discussion. Everyone around looked at Wang Zhong with some envy, although the most powerful clan in South Korea, the president is still the nominal supreme commander of the country, and he has a status and prestige that others can't match!
Williams also took advantage of this stall and walked out with the priest of the Holy See!
He has to report today's events to the Holy See, hoping that the Holy See will not give him too heavy a punishment!
But it also depends on Williams's language skills, after all, the same thing, described in different languages, the results obtained are completely different!
However, those who are proficient in this way are still Chinese, and the most famous is the repeated defeats and battles of Zeng Guofan, a heavy minister in the late Qing Dynasty!
Zeng Guofan trained his troops out of the mountain, full of ambition, thinking that he could hope to level the world. Unexpectedly, at the beginning, he suffered defeats in Yuezhou and Jinggang one after another, and he thought about himself as a second-class member of the Qing Dynasty. Even Lin Shaozhang, a small member of the Taiping Army, can't fight, and he still talks about the great cause of sweeping away the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom. Unbearable to be humiliated, he was so anxious that he committed suicide by jumping into the water. Fortunately, he was rescued by his subordinates. Later, he finally won some victories, but he was almost wiped out by Shi Dakai at the mouth of Jiujiang Lake. As a result, he once again performed high diving, and won the reputation of "excellent diver", which also made Emperor Xianfeng sneer at him.
Since you can't die, you have to report to the imperial court. Zeng Guofan has a good habit of revising each letter repeatedly. In this self-pleading letter for punishment. In the end, Zeng Guofan changed his repeated defeats since the war against the Taiping army into repeated defeats. The change of this word completely changed the perception of the court and created a magical and stubborn Zeng Guofan. Become the best footnote to its persistent spirit.
Repeated defeats are descriptions of objective facts, and the word "defeat" is highlighted to show that the fighters are incompetent and how many battles they have fought. How much to lose. As long as a war is waged, the result is always a failure, which conveys a sense of defeat and suffering; repeated defeats and battles are an embodiment of a tenacious spirit and will, and the prominent word "war" shows that the fighters are brave and fierce, and they are not discouraged in the face of defeat after defeat, believing that they can fight again after defeat. Indomitable and indomitable. That's how Zeng Guofan changed. That's how it works.
If Williams could have the wisdom of Zeng Guofan, maybe bad things can become good things!
But thinking about Western education and culture, Wang Zhong was already able to predict Williams's fate.
However, Wang Zhong is not interested in his going, even if he changes to a cardinal archbishop, with the experience of his predecessor, he will not easily provoke Wang Zhong!
Wang Zhong's immediate priority now is to get to the Blue House, where the president and prime minister are still waiting for him!
"Mr. Wang, please come here!"
The envoy respectfully said that before coming, the president had specially reminded him that Mr. Wang was a religious person worthy of respect!
Wang Zhong smiled and nodded, and got into the special car with a smile!
As the president's car, this car has obviously been reinforced and bulletproof, even if it is hit by a sniper rifle in the glass, or directly hit by a bomb, it will not be damaged!
Wang Zhong is also the first time to ride in such a high-specification car!
After about half an hour, the car slowly drove into the Blue House under the escort of the guards!
The Blue House is the center of Korean politics, and all orders are issued here!
After Wang Zhong got out of the car, he was directly taken in by the people of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and after passing through the security check, he entered the meeting room of the Blue House in South Korea.
"The Blue House is the official residence of the President of South Korea and is located at No. 1 Sejong-ro, Jongno-gu, Seoul. In 1426, when the Joseon Dynasty established Seoul (Seoul), the Joseon Dynasty built it as the back garden of Gyeongbokgung Palace, and built some buildings such as Yongmudang, Gyeongnongjae, and Martial Arts Training Ground, and opened a piece of the king's personal farmland. The current Blue House was newly built when President Roh Tae-woo was in office. The main building of the Blue House is the official residence of the President of South Korea. There are presidential offices, reception halls, conference rooms, living rooms, and annex buildings with secretaries' rooms, police guards, and welcome buildings.
The most striking feature of the Blue House, the political center of South Korea, is its Blue House, which is also known as the "Blue House", and is the official residence and political center of the Republic of Korea. When you arrive at Cheong Wa Dae, the first thing you see is the blue tiles of the main building. The main building of Cheongwadae is backed by Mt. Pakak, and the blue tiles and the curved roof are very beautiful. Just as the Blue House represents Korea, the Blue House and the curvilinear roof represent the opening of the Blue House.
It was the former palace of the Goryeo Dynasty, and in 1426 the Joseon Dynasty used it as the backyard of Gyeongbokgung Palace during the establishment of the capital of Seoul, and buildings such as Gyeonnonjae and the martial arts training field were built. Today, the political center of South Korea gathers here, symbolizing the highest political power in South Korea, and has become the official residence of the President of South Korea. Cheong Wa Dae gets its name from the blue tiles of the main building, which is one of its most striking features.
Cheong Wa Dae consists of the main building in the center, the State Guest House, the Green Garden, the Garden of Infinite Flowers, and the Seven Palaces. It is important to note that the exterior of these buildings is different, and in order to highlight the Korean characteristics, all the buildings are built according to the traditional Korean architectural model, and they look very beautiful.
The main building's tiles and curved roof are the most representative features of Cheong Wa Dae, which has a total of 150,000 tiles, each of which can be used for more than 100 years. To the right of the main building is the Spring and Autumn Pavilion, whose roof is made of traditional terracotta tiles and is now used as a place for the President to meet with reporters. On the left side of the main building is the State Guest House, which is a place for foreign guests, with a total of 18 stone pillars, which looks majestic and majestic.
The green meadows and the Infinity Flower Garden are a great place to take a stroll, and it has also been a place where past presidents have planted memorial trees, the most famous of which is the pine tree, which is about 300 years old. The Infinity Flower Garden is a great place for visitors to take photos, especially during the blooming season from July to October. In addition, there are many more places to visit in the wings, where gifts from foreign friends to the president are displayed, which is free to visit, and you can buy souvenirs from the souvenir counter. Also, don't forget to visit the Seven Shrines, which are seven traditional palaces and elegant courtyards of the Joseon Dynasty that have attracted a large number of tourists since they opened in 2001.
The winding path of Jeonvadae adds a touch of beauty to the whole of Cheong Wadae as it stretches from Gyeongbokgung Palace to Jeonwadae with the stone walls of Gyeongbokgung Palace on the left and art museums and high-rise buildings on the right. The path on the side of Gyeongbokgung Palace is lined with stone walls and ancient trees, making it a great place to take a stroll.
In autumn, the fallen leaves all over the ground give a more romantic feeling. On the other side, there are famous art museums such as Hyundai and Kumho, as well as fragrant cafes. If you want to enjoy the beauty at night, there is no better place than the restaurant, which has a very modern interior decoration, and one of the walls is made of glass, so you can see the stone walls of Gyeongbokgung Palace and the beautiful sky. From here, there is Samjeong-dong Park in front of Jeonvadae, where there are many famous restaurants, Korean restaurants, and art museums. There is also a small shop specializing in gnocchi soup, which is the most famous snack here. After this, at the end of the road is Sanjing Park. There are a lot of trees here, which is perfect for walking. When visiting Jewadae, don't forget to take a walk along this trail. It is a place with a beautiful environment and is the most characteristic of Korea, so it also attracts many foreign tourists. ”
While Wang Zhong was waiting, the staff of the Blue House gave Wang Zhong a brief introduction to the history and style of the Blue House, although Wang Zhong knew the feng shui of the Blue House well, but it was the first time he learned about his architectural style and history!
"In 1426, the Blue House is more than 500 years old, are these buildings the original?"
Wang Zhong asked with some curiosity. (To be continued......)
