At the big bottleneck of two million words, I was indeed a little lost......
Limited by the structure of the book and the many elements involved, I felt a little difficult to control when I wrote two million words
The protagonist I define is an idler, of course, not the kind of idle who doesn't do everything, eats and waits for death, and will do some things that should be done, but not like the kind of protagonist who dominates the world, with a strong sense of purpose.
It is my principle to have a laid-back mindset and develop the plot according to the life trajectory of the main character.
Therefore, the protagonist can't dominate the world, can't let the Quartet visit, can't become a national hero, and can only rely on a little bit of small plots to create highlights and climaxes.
What should be insisted on is the taste of life and the refreshing point in the ordinary.
However, with the increasing number of words and the pressure of updating, some plots seem to exceed this degree, and I am afraid that not only readers will be dissatisfied, but also myself.
I wanted to write a book that wasn't unfinished, not too imprisoned, and not broken.
I have to do it, I have to do it!
There is no update at noon today, I am just reflecting.
I'm not going to update it tonight, so let me go back and look at what I've written, and learn from the past.
In the coming week, starting tomorrow, the light and darkness will not be interrupted, but I will slow down the update for the time being, one chapter a day, and I will return to the original state of writing.
So, is that okay?
Maybe this will upset some readers, but I'll stick to it.
I don't want to write a bad book;
Even if the update is slower temporarily, the quality must be guaranteed.
This is the best reward for readers and consumers, I think so.
It's not a disguised leave of absence, I'm serious, I know it.
The plot of the gambling boat may not match the style of the whole text, and I feel it, but since I have written it, I will still finish this paragraph satisfactorily, and then, the book will return to its original taste.
It's a process of growth, and please allow me to grow through learning and exploration. (To be continued......)
