Chapter 269: Malfoy's Stupidity
Hermione squinted slightly, looking at Cho warily.
Then, she looked back at Evan beside her. Because of Luna's words, Evan seemed to be losing his mind, looking at the Ravenclaw Seeker with a slightly red face.
Hermione snorted, subconsciously closed the magic book in her hand, and slapped it heavily on Aven.
With a snap, Evan came back to his senses, and he turned to look at Hermione.
Hermione didn't look at him, she was talking to Ginny.
Evan scratched his head, wondering what the hell was going on?!
Seeing his dazed and overwhelmed appearance, Ginny and Luna, who had just witnessed the whole process, couldn't help but secretly snicker.
In the center of the field, after Wood shook hands with Ravenclaw's captain Davis, the game officially began as Mrs. Hodge's whistle blew.
With all the players in the air, Evan looked up to find Harry, and he saw a red shadow quickly pass high above.
He heard Lee Jordan's comments on the game, Jordan was the commentator for the game, he was a friend of Fred and George, and the three of them could usually be seen mingling.
"Here they went, and the exciting part of this tournament was the fire bolt that Harry of Team Gryffindor was riding. Jordan exclaimed excitedly, "This is Professor Black's Christmas present to Harry, and according to the book "Classifying Broomsticks", the Fire Ballista will be the first choice for the national team participating in this year's World Cup"
"Jordan, could you please tell us how the game went?" Professor McGonagall interjected in a stern voice, which could be heard by the audience.
"Come right away, Professor, just to provide a little background. By the way, the fire bolt has a built-in automatic braking device and "
"Jordan!"
"Good, good, the ball is here at Gryffindor, and Katie Bell from Gryffindor rushes towards goal"
Evan hurriedly looked towards Ravenclaw's goal, and he saw that Harry was also flying there, very fast, and he was looking around for the golden flash of the Snitch.
Autumn thought Harry had discovered something and chased after him.
She flew well, not as fast as Harry, but she continued to pass in front of him and to the side, forcing Harry to change direction.
Because of Autumn's disturbance, Harry lost track of the snitch.
At that moment, Katie scored the first point of the game, and the stands where Gryffindor House was located suddenly boiled, and a deafening shout rang in Aven's ears.
Amid the cheers, the Gryffindor team became more and more courageous, and the score gap became wider and wider.
"Gryffindor is now eighty-0 ahead, look at how the firebolt goes, Potter is really playing with its speed now. Its turns, Akihari's broomstick can't compare to it. You must know that in such a long game, the precise balance of fire ballista arrows"
"Jordan!" Professor McGonagall snapped, "Did the Firebolt cost you to advertise?"
The game was very intense, with Ravenclaw stubbornly coming back and they have now scored three goals and Gryffindor are now only 50 points ahead.
If Cho catches the Golden Snitch before Harry, Ravenclaw will win.
The key to Gryffindor's victory was entirely on Harry, but he looked a little restrained right now, and every time Autumn showed up to stop him, he had to change direction to avoid a collision.
"Harry, this is not the time to be a gentleman!" Wood yelled angrily at Harry's performance, and his voice could be heard in most of the field, "We're going to win the race, and if a collision is inevitable, you're going to knock her off the broomstick!"
Hearing his shout, there was a chorus of boos in the stands below.
Cho's broom stopped in front of Harry, and she grinned, and they seemed to exchange a few words.
Harry then turned the bolt and let it rise, and soon he was twenty feet above the arena, and everyone could only see him flying straight into the thick clouds.
Autumn followed him, and she had now decided to keep an eye on Harry, preferring not to find the golden snitch herself.
Harry made a feint, he pretended to see the snitch and rushed down again, Cho hurriedly turned his broomstick to keep up with him, Harry suddenly stopped rushing, Cho couldn't contain the momentum of the downward rush, and was thrown away by him.
Harry rose rapidly again like a bullet, and this time, he actually saw the Golden Snitch, which glittered in mid-air away from the Ravenclaw field.
Immediately after, Cho also saw the snitch, who was a few feet closer than Harry, and the two of them accelerated forward and raced against the clock
The audience held their breath and it was time for the moment of truth.
The advantages of the firebolts were fully exploited, and Harry was as fast as the wind.
He overtook Autumn and got closer and closer to the Golden Snitch, his fingertips were on the verge of touching the Snitch, and it was only a little bit before Gryffindor was about to win the game.
At this moment, Cho suddenly pointed to the field below, and she shouted in surprise, as if she saw something, and everyone's eyes looked down.
Harry was not distracted and looked down.
Following Autumn's finger, they saw three Dementors, three tall, turban-wearing black Dementors running into the Quidditch arena, and they were looking up at Harry.
There was an exclamation from the stands, and all the little wizards gasped.
They didn't understand what was going on, the Dementors had already returned to evacuate Hogwarts back to Azkaban, why were the Dementors on the grounds.
Out of instinctive fear, the little wizards subconsciously felt scared, and the scene was chaotic.
Because of Autumn's affairs, Hermione, who was secretly angry and didn't plan to deal with Evan, now subconsciously approached Evan, her little face full of nervousness.
Unlike the others, Evan could tell at a glance that the three guys below were not Dementors, but Malfoy, Crabbe, and Goyle!
They must have intended to pretend to be Dementors to scare Harry so that he could be distracted, or like they had done last time, for fear of falling straight off the broomstick.
Malfoy was really stupid enough, Evan was completely speechless, didn't know what to say, he wondered where the other party's IQ had gone?!
The last time he was preparing to ambush himself at the top of the staircase, this time he actually came up with the idea of pretending to be a dementor in front of the little wizards in the school to scare Harry.
He can't use his brain before every action?!
In the panic around him, Evan pulled out his wand as quickly as he could.
"Divine Guard!" he shouted, easily summoning his Patronus.
With a dazzling brilliance, Aven's Patronus charged towards Malfoy.
Harry, who was in mid-air, didn't pause, and thanks to Evan's reminder, he also put his wand on his body before the game, and he quickly drew his wand from under his robe and aimed it at Malfoy, and a huge silver-white stag emerged from the end of his wand.
The stag slid away, and Harry didn't stop to observe.
His body leaned forward so hard that he was almost on the verge of leaping out of the firebolt, his fingers successfully closing on the small ball that was beating in front of him.
It was only at the same time that Harry caught the Golden Snitch that the young wizards reacted.
They pointed their wands at the Dementors, and all of a sudden, a variety of Patronus appeared from the stands, a full double number of Patronuses from the previous match.
The scene was spectacular, and the patron saint brought even more brilliance than the sun.
With an astonishing momentum, hundreds of Patronus rushed towards the bottom of the field together, and the three Dementors all stood in place, looking at the Patronus who rushed over in amazement, they subconsciously took a step back, wanting to escape, but because their legs were weak, they fell directly to the ground.
The three of them seemed to be frightened and didn't know what to do.
Malfoy's heart stopped beating, and his eyes widened in disbelief as he stared at the hundreds of Patronus who were getting closer and closer. He seemed to have just realized that it was a stupid idea to disguise himself as a Dementor to scare Harry. (To be continued.) )
