In 1949, TT became the circuit for the British round of the FIM World Grand Prix. A 37.73-mile (60.7-kilometer) road around the island stretches from the capital city of Douglas to the northern town of Lancy at 226 turns, and the road is thrilling, from plains to mountains, with undulating roads. The car is often driven by two wheels, which is very exciting. The road passes through towns and villages. Running through woods and deserted suburbs, it's currently the longest track in the world.
