The empowerment matures the recipient into a vessel for tantric practice, like a worldly mandate to hear about the practice of the special Vajrayana. ”

"If you want to be initiated, you must first find your own Buddha-figure mandala, and I will teach you the Great Buddha Vajra Thoughts now!"

"What is the Buddha-figure mandala?"
"The true meaning of the mandala is the variety of divine structure forms, and the surface is simply xiàn as the gathering place of the main deity and the dependent deities. It is a symbolic object of meditation that helps the practitioner to visualize the Buddha-figure in the divine realm.
Detailed information about the size, shape, structure, and color of the mandala is recorded in the scriptures that introduce the various deities, such as the Sutra of Scales. In addition, in order to facilitate memorization and memorization, the above-mentioned sutras on Buddha-figures are usually abbreviated into short texts, and there are various commentaries on the abbreviated version and the original.
There are three types of mandalas:
(1) Cloth painting mandala
(2) Colored sand mandala
(3) Model mandalas, such as mandalas made of wood or clay.
The mandala depends on the time of the mandala and the space in which the mandala is placed. For example, when there is not enough space, there is no need for a portrait of the deity. Only a few simple tantric symbols, or the letters of the tantric mantras that are unique to the deity, are used to represent the mandala. ”

"Each of the four tantric divisions has its own spiritual cosmic model, the mandala system, which consists of a tantric deity and a number of dependent deities. The main deity in the mandala is what people call the deity. Each tantric practitioner has a Buddha-figure as the object of their meditation. The deities surrounding the deities are only different in form and manifestation, but in fact the deities are a type of deity and are in the same way as the deities.
Although Tantra has countless Buddha-figures. However, it can be roughly divided into three categories, namely, the good-natured Buddha-figures, the angry Buddha-figures, and the good and evil Buddha-figures. The more famous Buddha-figures are Manjushri, Avalokiteshvara, Tara, Amitayus, and so on. The Great Buddha Vajra, Vajra, Horse-Headed Vajra (or Horse-Head King), and Vajrapani (also known as Chana Dorjee) are the more famous deities of the angry phase. The deities of both good and evil are Dense Vajra, Chakra Vajra, Hivajra, Kalachakra and Vajrayogini.
These deities are depicted in various forms, sometimes in the same form as ordinary people: one face, two arms, and two legs, and sometimes as a multi-faced, multi-armed, and multi-legged deity.
The criterion by which the deity is portrayed is twofold, one is the infinite knowledge of all the bodhichitta of that deity. One is the wisdom characteristic of the Buddha-figure. It is for this reason that all Buddha-figures are included in the scope of Buddha refuge.
The Buddha-figure you want to visualize is the Great Buddha Vajra, which is the Bull-headed King!"
Chokyi Gyaltsen smiled and opened a thangka, which depicted a fierce and vicious deity!
"The Great Buddha Vajra wears a human bone ornament, a human head necklace, a full-skin apron for the ten evil people, a human blood rouge, a human blood smeared on the eyebrows, a tiger skin apron, and ashes painted on the body. It is pink-green, and there is an elephant leather top, and the left foot stretches out and the right leg is bowed on the lotus platform day wheel, and the buffalo is pressed by it. Of course. Its decoration also has its symbolic meaning. Some people say, "More slackness, less diligence, no oaths, no precepts, no respect for the guru, no friendship and companionship, I am slow and prosperous, intoxicated with the five desires, easy to attract evil demons, if I can take the great Buddha Vajra as the deity, it is easy to respond, I can get rid of the bad karma, and I can increase the blessings and wisdom. ”
"How do you visualize?"

"As long as you concentrate your mind and concentrate your mind on a certain object, you can cure delusions such as greed, or you can practice a convenient view for entering the right view. ”
Chokyi Gyaltsen said slowly.

This reveals the mystery of the Tibetan Buddhist practice of the double body. Thangka is the embodiment of esoteric and abstract Buddhist teachings: the king represents compassion and the concubine represents wisdom, and their union represents the "unity of compassion and wisdom", which also represents the concept of "subduing".
