463 Tang Xuanzong made a false scripture and returned to the "Destruction of Barbarian Scriptures" to poison China
Why did Tang Ruowang lose Shunzhi's favor and was almost executed by Ling Chi?
In the record of the Jesuit Rougman, we can find some clues.
In the records of the Jesuit Roujman, the case is referred to as "hatred", and the main characters of hatred are unbelieving officials, heretics, sorcerers, liars, and monks who are "sacrificed to demons." And the leader of this group is an "evil old guy". This "evil old guy" is named Yang Guangxian, the name Changgong, and he is a native of She County, Huizhou Prefecture, Jiangnan.
Yang Guangxian has a violent personality, is straightforward and outspoken, and has a fighting nature. According to Yang Guangxian's own account, he came to Beijing in the thirteenth year of Shunzhi (1656), and saw the portrait of Jesus nailed in the fifteenth year, and knew that Catholicism was Jesus, and since then he has the idea of impeachment.
After a period of preparation, Yang Guangxian wrote several articles to the imperial court, pointing the finger at Catholicism and the Western calendar, but these impeachments did not receive a response from the imperial court. Yang Guangxian was not discouraged, waited for the opportunity to move, and finally seized an opportunity in the early years of Kangxi.
In the winter of the second year of Kangxi (1663), Li Zubai, a subordinate of John Tang and a priest of Qintianjian, made "Introduction to Tianxue". The full text of the book is more than 2,500 words, which gives a general introduction to the origin of Catholicism, how Catholicism was introduced to China, and the achievements of missionaries after they came to China.
Li Zubai mentioned in the article that Fu Xi, the humanistic ancestor of the Chinese nation, was originally a Jew who came to China from west to east and brought Catholicism with him. The people of the country should "grow up their children and grandchildren, and pass them on from family to family, and what they learn in China at this time will be twice as prosperous in the present world."
After Yang Guangxian saw this article, he was very dissatisfied with Li Zubai's statement that he had insulted the ancestors, and at the end of July of the third year of Kangxi Reign (1664), he wrote to the Ministry of Rites and Rites of "Petitioning for the Punishment of the Cult", accusing Tang Ruowang and other Jesuits and Li Zubai and other religious priests on the two charges of "plotting rebellion against the country for the sake of officials" and "confusing the public by spreading demon books", setting off a storm of "prison".
The two departments of the ceremonial officials were approved by the three departments
The response of the imperial court was very swift. At the beginning of August of the third year of Kangxi, the imperial court secretly tried the case of the prison. Because Tang Ruowang, Nan Huairen, Li Zhisi, An Wensi, Li Zubai and others worked in the Qin Tianjian and the Qin Tianjian was under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Rites. And all 5 of them have official positions, especially John Tang, who is an official to a product, and is also under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Officials. Therefore, the imperial court ordered that the two ministries of rites and officials should be tried together.
During the interrogation, John Tang was unable to speak clearly due to his illness, so he had to talk to Nan Huairen in Latin and German, which was then translated into Chinese by Nan Huairen for interrogation.
The first charge Yang Guangxian charged was "conspiracy to commit treason." Most of the interrogations focused on issues related to churches, churches, and missionaries. The officials believed that the footprints of the missionaries could be seen in both provincial towns and remote villages, and they were puzzled by the "paganism of all the people in the world during the wing period," believing that this would inevitably escape the suspicion of "dissidents" and "Punbixie." During the trial, officials asked a large number of questions. The most frequently asked question was the purpose of the missionaries coming to China.
After the trial of the first charge is completed, the trial of the second charge begins. At the heart of the trial is whether Christianity is an improper religion. The trial officials held that reciting scriptures, building churches, administering baptisms, and coaxing men and women into joining the Church in the name of forgiveness of sins were all done by cults and were not legitimate religions.
According to the detailed explanation of the Essentials, the missionaries pointed out that Catholicism is only "to do the best of its teachings, and to redress and do good deeds in order to forgive one's sins." The most incomprehensible thing for the trial officials was that no one who joined the religion was allowed to burn paper for their ancestors, arguing that "only in terms of the fact that believers are not allowed to burn paper for their ancestors." There is no doubt that it is indeed a cult."
Summarizing the results of the previous trial, 11 November. The Second Department of Rites and Officials summed up 14 suspicious points and charges against John Tang, including "deceiving people and confusing the public" and "acting like a cult," and decided to dismiss John Tang and others and hand them over to the Criminal Department for punishment.
On November 20, the third year of Kangxi, Tang Ruowang, Li Zubai and others were taken to the prison of the Criminal Department. At this time, all five were dismissed, no longer enjoying official status, and were put in shackles awaiting sentencing.
In December of the third year of Kangxi. The Criminal Department put forward the following opinions on how to deal with the accusations of treason and cults: John Tang is the first offender and plans to be hanged; Li Zubai and others are accomplices to the cult, and they are to be exiled to Ningguta with 40 rods.
The matter did not end there, and Yang Guangxian raised a third accusation against Tang Ruowang and others about the funeral of Prince Rong. The case involved a royal heir. The stakes are so high that the trials of other charges have been overshadowed by this charge. Prince Rong is the fourth son of Emperor Shunzhi and his mother is Concubine Dong E. The fourth prince died a few months after birth, and before he could be named, he was posthumously named Prince Rong.
Yang Guangxian accused Tang Ruowang and others of using the five elements of Hongfan when choosing the burial period of Prince Rong, which had a lot of conflicts with feng shui, which was very unlucky. Yang Guangxian also quoted a person who was "familiar with geography" as saying that when Li Zubai and others chose the burial period, they used the "Barbarian Extinction Sutra", which was written by the Chinese and expected to be transmitted to the outer clans, and the foreign clans could be cut off after using them.
When Li Zubai and others chose the time and place of Prince Rong's burial, they did not use the usual "General Book of Calendars" and "Selected Danshu", but specially adopted the "Barbarian Annihilation Sutra", which was a serious crime and the intention was self-evident.
This is a very serious accusation, and according to the evidence provided by Yang Guangxian, Li Zubai and others are simply exterminating China in the name of spreading religion.
The Criminal Department accepted Yang Guangxian's argument and convicted Tang Ruowang and others of the crime of great rebellion, and put forward a proposed plan for dealing with them in accordance with the criminal law: Ling Chi, Tang Ruowang, Li Zubai, and other officials of the Qintianjian were to be executed; the sons of the relevant personnel were to be executed; and the sons of those who were not yet years old, their wives, their families, acres of land, and their property were strictly investigated and put into the ranks.
The previous accusations are not a big deal in the eyes of Shunzhi and Kangxi, but the last one is a big crime that the royal family cannot tolerate. As Li Zubai and others said, this is to exterminate China. Of course, this charge seems exaggerated today, after all, the country is a country of people, not a country of one person and one family. But in the past, the emperor was the symbol of the state. Plotting against the assassin is all about destroying the Nine Clans and executing Ling Chi. Ming Chengzu Zhu Di created the most in history, and when he killed Fang Xiaoru, he exterminated the ten clans.
Did John Tong take advantage of his position and use invisible means such as feng shui to do things that were unscrupulous?
Here is a brief introduction to the five elements of Hong Fan and the "Barbarian Annihilation Sutra", "Shangshu Hong Fan" in the Jizi explained the five elements and said: "Five elements: one is water, two is fire, three is wood, and four is gold. Five, the soil. The water is said to be moist, the fire is said to be on the fire, the wood is said to be straight, the gold is said to be from the leather, and the soil is said to be the harvest."
The meaning of the five elements of Hong Fan will be tentatively stated first, and you may wish to first intuitively understand the meaning of the word 'Hong Fan'. Hongzhi, the meaning of vast, Fan, normative, also means a large-scale generalization of the law, then Hongfan composed of words, can be understood in this way: a large-scale generalization law. If this understanding is combined with the five elements and other phenomena that we come into contact with, then the meaning is similar, and it is also a regular summary of the large-scale meaning of the phenomena in the universe. Because it is a classification and summary of the five phenomena that are regularity on a large scale, there must be another law within a small range. It is also said that in the big five elements, there will inevitably be various small internal images of the five elements.
Although the five elements of Hongfan have the same root and origin as the five elements, they are also completely different. From Wang Zhong's perspective today, there is no problem with Tang Ruowang's choice of date, although it can't be said to be wonderful, but it is also well-behaved, Yang Guangxian and others accused him of using the wrong five elements, and he was suspected of cracking down on planting stolen goods.
But at the time of the royal funeral. John Tang did make a big mistake, that is, he used the "Barbarian Annihilation Sutra".
The Book of Extermination dates back to the Tang Dynasty. Feng Shui, as an imperial art, has always been kept in the secret palace by the Qin Heavenly Supervisor, but as Chang'an, the center of cultural exchange at that time, the envoys and students sent by various countries have heard about it and hope to learn it. Tang Xuanzong was afraid that the barbarians would know the righteousness of yin and yang and help strengthen their national power, so they ordered the monks who were proficient in Yili to fabricate the "Bronze Letter Sutra" in a half-true and half-false way, and this pseudo-book with the theory of "big and small travel years, east and west four houses" was then passed to the neighboring Yi.
However, this sutra has been returned to the Central Plains, and fortunately, the wise men and sages have tried to criticize the falsification. Zeng Wenyuan said in "The Preface to the Green Bag": "Although the three talents and six constructions are wonderful, the gains and losses and five are all biased." Guy and his party disturbed foreign countries, so he reversed the five elements. It is unclear to spread falsehoods, so the blessings and misfortunes are indiscriminate. As a result, it was called the "Destruction of Barbarian Sutra" and it was lost in the city again.
Who knows how many days it will take. This technique has been revived after hundreds of years of silence, when the world of Feng Shui has become a mixture of pseudo-studies, and the world is at a loss for what to follow and cannot distinguish. In the Ming and Qing dynasties, the classic works of the Eight Houses School came out one after another, mainly including "The Mirror of the Eight Houses" by Zheng Guan Daoren, "The Love of the Yang House" by Zhang Juezheng, "The Ten Books of the Yang House" by Wang Junrong, and "The Three Essentials of the Yang House" by Zhao Jiufeng.
The Qing Dynasty was the most popular time when the "Book of Exterminating Barbarians" was most popular, but I didn't expect that even the emperor at that time was poisoned by this, and I have to say that the world is impermanent.
But is the Destruction of Barbarians the most popular "Eight Houses Feng Shui" on the market now?
In the past, Wang Zhong was not sure, and it was not easy to draw conclusions, but during this time in South Korea, he found that the ancient buildings of North Korea were all laid out in the eight-house method, and the word "Destruction of Barbarian Scripture" was self-evident.
Of course, the Eight Houses are not all false scriptures, when the monks and their entourage did the "Destruction of Barbarian Sutras", it was half-true and half-false, and there were some real feng shui theories mixed with it, which is also the reason why the false scriptures can be circulated for thousands of years.
Let's call it a pseudo eight houses, then "Dragon Gate Eight Houses" is the real eight houses. Also called Qiankun National Treasure, this faction is not widely spread, Longmen Eight House School (authentic Eight House School)
This faction is passed on by Qiu Yanhan, the national teacher of Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty, since the water is the master of collecting qi, so it is said: Longmen Eight Houses, with the innate gossip as the body, the acquired gossip as the use of the eight houses of the eight houses that match the heavens, to sit on the mountain gossip on the palace, the law requires sitting on the congenital to receive the acquired, sitting on the day after tomorrow to receive the congenital, such as the acquired nature of the mountain is called the congenital, the congenital of the mountain is called the day after tomorrow, this is not a mistake, this method is always to remind the user to sit on the congenital to receive the acquired, sit on the acquired to receive the innate law, divided into the congenital, the day after tomorrow, the heaven, the earth's punishment, the case, the guest, the guest, Auxiliary hexagrams, reservoir pools, water mouths, Zhengyao, Diyao, Tianyao (also known as Sanyao Sha, that is, the official ghost of this hexagram and the official ghost of the successive heavens) are arranged in the direction of the twenty-four mountains, the first row of thirteen stars, and the rest is the auxiliary hexagram. Use this method to collect the mountain out of the evil are fulfilled, this faction since the water and go to the hydration bureau, then the dragon gas is really auspicious, for the starting point of the water and gas, the water comes and goes have a fixed law: congenital, acquired, earthly punishment, auxiliary hexagram should come to the water, the reservoir pool should be still water deep injection, go to the water should be in the sky, the case, the guest position, the water mouth, the right trick, but if it is the right Yao, the earth, Tianyao's three Yao evil is not suitable to come and go, the main culprit of the offender, this is the law of words and water, as for the law of sand dialing the sand to the twenty-eight degrees of the five elements of each other, and with the congenital and acquired people who are rich and noble, it is not a bad idea to be the orthodox Longmen Eight Houses, more people in Taiwan are accustomed to this school, but the content of the content is larger, mostly for the factors of the teacher's transmission, and its subtlety is in the twenty-four mountains of the secret into use. If you mistakenly learn the false recipe of the Eight Houses, you can change this door, and you will have great benefits. In terms of auspiciousness, it is advisable to use the twenty-eight hanging palace method with the four auspicious times. (To be continued.) )
