Chapter Seventy-Three: Crook Hill and Spotted

The days passed, and in a blink of an eye came the last day of the summer vacation.

Early in the morning, as soon as Evan and Harry came downstairs, they saw the Weasleys coming out of the fireplace, as if they had just returned from Egypt, dressed in a mixture of normal wizard's robes and traditional Egyptian costumes, looking incredibly strange.

Mrs. Weasley stepped forward and hugged the two of them, and Mr. Weasley went to the bar to book a few rooms, and they were going to spend the night at the Leaky Cauldron tonight.

A few minutes later, Old Tom brought breakfast over.

As everyone ate their breakfast, Percy pretended to show off his boys' student council pin to Evan and Harry, and shook hands with the two of them as if they had been introduced to the mayor.

Fred and George didn't let him speak for long, and they shook hands with Percy in imitation of Percy, making them both laugh.

Mrs. Weasley snapped a halt to the behavior, and it was clear that she was proud of Percy.

The conversation shifted back to a trip to Egypt, where the Weasleys recounted their travels.

Next, Ron showed Evan and Harry his new wand: fourteen inches long, wicker wood, and the essence of unicorn tail hair. As for Ginny, the little girl, as before, blushes unconsciously at the sight of Harry, but it is obviously much stronger than last semester, at least she won't knock anything down.

When everyone had finished eating, Hermione and her parents rushed to the Leaky Cauldron.

Hermione was dressed in a sky blue dress, with a light yellow bowler straw hat on her head, her skin was a healthy tan of wheat, elegant and playful, and she looked full of sunny energy, and she happily greeted everyone.

After a few conversations, the Granger couple had to leave early because they had more business to do, and they left Hermione in the care of the Weasleys, and kept all the things she needed at Hogwarts, and she was staying at the Leaky Cauldron tonight.

When they parted, Harry and Ron began to discuss his blow-up about his aunt, and Hermione took out a thick wad of parchment and stuffed it for Aven, all of which she had written based on what she had seen and heard in France.

"I heard the whole story from my dad, your Aunt Maggie floating on the ceiling for two hours. Ron laughed, he thought it sounded cool to blow up his aunt.

"There's nothing funny about this, Ron. Hermione said sharply, "Honestly, I'm surprised that Harry wasn't fired. ”

"Me too, you don't know about me and me," Harry glanced at Aven, remembering that he had to keep the matter of him turning into a cat, "anyway, I forgot about the expulsion, I thought I was going to be caught." Ron, Mr. Weasley doesn't know why Fudge let me go, does he know?"

"Probably because it's you, isn't it?" Ron shrugged his shoulders and still giggled, "Famous Harry Potter or something, if I blow up my aunt, the Ministry of Magic won't let me go." Listen, they're going to dig me out first, and my mom will kill me. ”

"I think Mrs. Weasley is doing the right thing, you two are a little too carried away, you should learn from Arwin, he won't"

"I already know it's wrong, Hermione! Seeing that Hermione was a little angry, Harry hurriedly changed the subject, "Where are we going next?"

"I think we should go to the pet store first. Hermione looked at her purse and said, "My birthday is in September, my mom and my dad gave me some money to buy myself a birthday present in advance, I want an owl." ”

"That's right, I also want to send Banban for an examination, I don't think Egypt is suitable for it. Ron pulled Spotted out of his pocket.

Evan's gaze shifted from the parchment in his hand to the little mouse, Blob looked thinner than before, its beard visibly pulled down, and its fur was not as bright as before.

"Ron, let me see, your rat just lacks exercise. ”

The corners of Aven's mouth turned up slightly, Peter Pettigrew must have been frightened by Sirius Black's escape from prison.

"Sports?!" Ron looked at Evan suspiciously.

"That's right, I suggested Hermione buy a cat so she could help you. ”

"Don't listen to him, Hermione!" Ron subconsciously put the little mouse in his pocket, "Banban is pitiful enough, let's find a pet store quickly." ”

"There's a magical creature shop over there!" After more than two weeks of wandering, Harry was now familiar with Diagon Alley, "You can see if you can buy something for Spotted there, and Hermione can buy an owl or a cat there." ”

"Don't buy a cat to scare Spotted!" Ron told again.

The four of them walked across the street to the shop called the Amazing Zoo.

There wasn't much space in the store, and there were cages hanging every inch of the walls. The little creatures in the cage are all making all kinds of noises, smelly and noisy.

"Hello, this is my mouse!" Ron stepped forward and said to the witch standing behind the counter, "Can you see what is going on with it? It hasn't been a little good since I brought it back from Egypt. ”

"Put it on the counter. The witch said as she pulled a pair of heavy dark glasses from her pocket and examined the spots.

"Humph!" the witch picked up Spotted, "how old is this mouse?"

"I don't know," said Ron, "it's old, it turned out to be my brother's." ”

"What is it capable of?" the witch scrutinized Spotted.

"Oh" Ron didn't know what to say, the reality was that Spotted had never shown the slightest bit of interest.

The witch's eyes shifted from the speckled, torn ears to its front paws, where a toe was missing, and her mouth made a slurping sound.

"It's suffered, this mouse. ”

"When Percy gave it to me, it was like this. Ron defended himself.

Harry nodded, since he had known Ron, this mouse had been like this, and he didn't usually show any abnormalities except for sleeping and eating.

"You don't expect a house mouse or garden mouse like this to survive more than three years. The witch pointed to the black mouse in the cage next to her and said, "Well, if you're looking for a more durable animal, you'll probably like this one." ”

Evan was completely scoffed at her claims, speaking as if he were really a mouse. If he told him that the rat, whom she had decided would not live for more than three years, had been living in Ron's house for more than a decade, she would be scared to tears.

"Well, if you don't want to replace it, you can try this potion. The witch continued, taking out a small red bottle from under the counter.

"How much" Before Ron's words were finished, they saw a huge ginger thing jump from the top cage.

Several people looked in amazement at the huge ginger creature in front of them, a ginger cat with thick and sparse hair. The cat looked a little odd, its legs a little bent, its face gruff, and its strange appearance of being crushed, as if it had ever rushed headlong against a wall.

It jumped on Ron's head and gathered momentum, purring and purring at Spotted.

"Don't, Crookshan, don't!" exclaimed the witch.

Spotted slipped out of her hand like a bar of soap, fell to the floor on all fours, and fled to the door.

"Spotted!" Ron yelled, and ran after it out of the store, Harry following behind.

After the spots disappeared, Crookshan suddenly turned his head and looked at Evan with a docile face, not at all fierce and irritable as before, perhaps because his Animagus was also a cat, Crookshan was very affectionate to Evan and even took the initiative to come over and lick his hand.

This surprised the witch behind the counter, who had never seen Crookshank reach out to a stranger.

"What a cute little fellow, its fur is shiny, isn't it, Aven?" Hermione crouched down and touched Crook Hill as well.

The cat was a little wary, but immediately accepted Hermione.

"The color is quite bright, a bit like a big ball of yarn. Evan looked at it, and the cat was really ugly.

"I've decided!" Hermione stood, cradling Crookshank in her arms.

"Decide what?" Evan looked at the other party in surprise, and had a bad premonition in his heart.

"Didn't you ask me to buy a cat, I decided to buy it!" Hermione said, pointing to Crookshank.

"Buy this cat?!If you do that, Ron will kill me. A wry smile appeared on the corner of Aiwen's mouth.
