Chapter 15: Isarak the Fire Dancer

"So...... Now can we have a good talk?"

"Wait, we have to get back to Lonega safely. James shook his head. "Also, my answer has always been clear, I'm not what you think I ......"

"Not yet, then can you explain to me why my sword is filled with magical energy?"

"I don't know, maybe the Forsaken have lurked in your room. ”

"You ......"

"Shhhh......h

"What's wrong?" James whispered.

"There's a small group of goblin ......"

James also stuck out an eye and looked at several abandoned minecarts not far away. Sure enough, four or five goblins with weapons and shabby armor sneaked over. Looking at their appearance, James guessed that he probably didn't notice that he had been discovered.

"What should I do, do you want to take a detour?" Tram asked cautiously, retracting the brass axe and hiding it behind his body.

"Do you still have a way now?" said Glicenta, standing behind the group, mocking.

"If you don't think about it, shut up for me. James said coldly.

"You ......" Grisenda didn't know how many times she had been deflated at James's place, and she secretly swore in her heart that after she went out, she would definitely give this old pervert a little color.

Joseph slowly gripped the hilt of his sword.

James nodded. "But we can't just rush up and tear them up, it's easy to get injured, we need a little bit of strategy......"

"Cut, it's the weak who need a plan, don't you want to help? I need to get this over quickly, so I can ...... with this old pervert theory" Glicenta, under the shocked gaze of everyone, was trying to get out of this corner and stand in front of the goblins.

James grabbed her hand.

"What are you doing, you're looking for death!" James tried to restrain the volume of his voice as he spoke to the girl very angrily.

"I'm just saving you, you idiot. Grisenda felt the power in James's hand and shook it hard, breaking free of his pincer-like right hand, but her heart pounded because of the touch. James was also shocked, because he didn't expect that the seemingly thin girl in front of him would have such tremendous strength. Although James cannot be said to be very strong, he is at least an upright, trained warrior, and it is impossible for her to escape so easily.

The two of them were still snorting and didn't say anything, and the small group of goblins heard the noise. One of them chattered in some unintelligible language, and then abruptly left the place with all the goblins. Tram turned his head to look at the place where the goblin had been, only to find that it was empty.

"Hey, come and see, those goblins are gone. Tram's tone was tinged with horror.

Joseph picked up his sword, stood where the goblin had been, stomped on the ground, and sniffed it. "They've been here, we're not dazzled, and there's that weird goblin-only stench...... Hey, where did they go? We have to know where these goblins have fled......"

"I'm guessing they're ventilating to their boss......" James thought of the pesky Adhane again, and he had told himself before that when goblins escaped, most of them would ventilate to their boss in order to get revenge.

"Isn't that the end of killing their boss?" said Grisenda nonchalantly.

James gave her a blank look. "Captain Whitewater, almost ten of them didn't defeat this group of goblins, how could the four of us be?"

"What are those people, you have me? The difference in strength is a ...... of heaven and earth," Grisenda straightened his chest. "If you plead with me, maybe I'll help you regardless of my past suspicions......"

"How do we know where those goblins fled?" Trum asked.

"Hey, did you hear me?" Grisenda glared.

"Maybe we can barely discern the direction of the smell - where there isn't one, we'll go, and we'll be able to avoid the goblins and get back to the village safely. ”

"Uh-uh......" Grisenda clenched her fists angrily and swung them into the air a few times, her face flushing. "Don't blame me for not warning you ......guys when you're besieged by the goblins," she said, and turned angrily and walked in the other direction.

"She'......"

"It's okay, she'll be back in a moment. James said confidently with his hands on his chest.

Sure enough, before his words fell, a loud scream sounded in the distance. Grisenda ran over in a panic, threw herself on James's right arm, hugged him tightly, and then shouted in horror.

"Yes...... There was ......"

"What's there?" Joseph asked, holding his sword and taking a few steps forward.

"Yes...... Yes...... There are spiders!"

Joseph's sword almost slipped and fell to the ground.

The corners of James's mouth twitched repeatedly, and his right arm was clasped by her body, strangled tightly, and bared his teeth in pain. After a while, James said cautiously.

"Eldest sister, let go first, my arm will be cut off by you......"

"But...... But ......"

"You're not even afraid of goblins, why are you afraid of spiders? Also, we're too close, right?" James had black lines all over his head.

Grisenda took a few steps back in a panic, stretched out her fingers, and counted them one by one. "Spiders, snakes, cockroaches, ants, bats, zombies, skeletons, and rats......"

"What is this?"

"The scariest thing is the rat ......"

The inside of the mine suddenly became much brighter, and James was surprised to find that the temperature had suddenly increased a lot. He saw a ball of fire rushing towards him with a lightning speed, swaying with a greedy firelight. The closest to the trajectory of the fireball was Glicenta, who stood at the rear. James secretly said a bad word, and regardless of whether Grisenda noticed his danger or whether he had the ability to dodge it, he threw herself down in desperation.

"You ......"

Glicenta's pupils dilated suddenly, almost overwhelmed by the person in front of her.

"Boom!"

Both Tram and Joseph reached out to block the rubble from the explosion. At this time, two terrifying figures appeared in front of everyone. One of them was covered in flames, with demonic wings, a flaming tail of fire, and no organ on his face, but with a terrifying aura. The other is a goblin, but covered in various human bone ornaments, and holding a worn-out staff inlaid with rubies. The goblin stretched out his staff and said a few words to the flame imp beside him, and the terrifying monster's face immediately cracked a large crack and let out a sharp scream, and a fireball condensed in his hand, attacking again.

"Be careful!"

Seeing this, Joseph threw his shield on his left hand and miraculously caught the fireball. The shield shattered in the air, and the flames of the explosion filled the air.

"Kill you!"

Tram screamed as he picked up his brass axe and slashed at the head of the Flame Imp. The Flame Imp was clearly not ready for the next attack, and the axe was embedded directly in its ugly skull. Startled to see his teammate dead, Fire Dancer Isarak raised his staff, chanted a bunch of incomprehensible incantations, and then created a fireball out of thin air and threw it in the direction of Tram.

"Oops!"

Seeing that Tram was in danger, James slammed himself up from the ground and tried to pounce on him to save him, but it was too late. Just as James closed his eyes and prepared for the coming moment, he suddenly saw Joseph next to him rush over and block Tram's face.

"No!"

James and Tram's voices rang out at the same time, followed by a deafening explosion. Tram was shocked against the wall and fainted, while Joseph, who was engulfed in the flames, disappeared.

James stood still, beads of sweat streaming from his skin, whether it was hot or forced out by anger. He clenched his sword tightly, and there was nothing in the darkness in front of him. He remembered his interesting conversation with this sturdy and smiling young man on the city wall, and he remembered the jokes he had made and the heels he had planted. With tears and brief memories, he raced towards the other side of the void. In front of him, only a vague outline was drawn, and he attacked it. In an instant, he suddenly noticed that the silhouette moved, and he felt the blazing heat in front of him, and felt the source of fear that melted away.

A man flashed in front of him.

"Thunder Hide, Shield ......"

Glicenta snorted.

"Thunderstorm, Punishment ......"

James only heard the sound of electricity piercing the air, followed by loss of consciousness due to pain and numbness.
