It's just that what the Soviets don't know is that their interference is in the hands of Lu Jiadong, Wu Rui and others, because the whole set of passive tracking tactics is itself a trap for decoy, first using the analog signal in the Type 389 fire control radar to transmit a continuous wave of decoy signals to simulate the frequency of the old-fashioned guidance station.

Subsequently, the Type 256 low-altitude detection radar simulated the RD-75 ranging radar signal very well, and the two echoed each other, so that the attackers mistakenly thought that it was dealing with the old-fashioned SAM-2 or Hongqi-2 air defense missiles, and implemented strong interference with the "RD-75 ranging radar" according to the usual practice.
