Chapter 157: The Power of Friendship
Ron shuddered, the memories of the month, the memories that should have disappeared, were projected in his mind like a slideshow.
He remembered what he had done after being controlled by Peter Pettigrew, who had snuck into the professor's office in the middle of the night to find a map of the living spots, wrote letters to Lucius Malfoy and plotted a despicable conspiracy, accusing the innocent Professor Lupin in front of all the students in the school, and telling Snape about Sirius Black's whereabouts
He had thought he had done the right thing, and although he was under Peter Pettigrew's control, he had never tried to resist.
Because he knew he was saving Harry, Aven, Hermione, and everyone else, and he was a hero!
But now it seems that this is not the case at all.
He's not a hero, but an out-and-out loser, an accomplice to the gangsters who killed Harry's parents.
Ron's gaze gradually returned to clarity, and he couldn't believe what he had done.
He actually helped Peter Pettigrew, helped a murderer who defected to Voldemort and killed Harry's parents, he betrayed Harry, Evan and Hermione, he betrayed the trust of his friends, he framed Professor Lupin, and he framed Sirius Black
Ron shuddered as he watched the eyes of Aven, Harry, and Hermione look at him with a look of worry, disappointment, and disbelief.
Ron was distressed for a moment, he knew he was a bastard and he had to find a way to make up for it.
Peter Pettigrew was slowly approaching the castle gates with Ron, and he asked Blake, Aven, Harry, and Hermione to stay where they were.
He was delighted to find that he had actually passed through the gate, the magic that had prevented him from passing through the strange barrier had not appeared, and he could already feel the fresh, cold air outside the castle.
The sky had completely darkened, and the bright full moon crept into the air.
In the moonlight, Peter Pettigrew controls Ron as they walk through the grounds outside the castle towards the Forbidden Forest, not far away.
In the distance, the figures of Aven, Harry, Hermione, and Black blurred as they faded into the castle's massive silhouette.
Seeing himself getting closer and closer to the Forbidden Forest, Peter Pettigrew was so excited that he finally escaped.
The next second, just when he thought he was going to succeed.
Ron suddenly resisted violently, gripped Peter Pettigrew's right hand, which was missing a finger, and struggled with all his strength to snatch his wand.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" Ron cried out against Peter Pettigrew, "I'm sorry, Harry, I'm sorry, Aven, I'm sorry, Hermione, it's all my fault, I shouldn't have doubted you, I shouldn't have disbelieved you, look at what I've done."
Ron cried hoarsely, crying so sadly.
Hearing Ron's voice, Aven, Harry, Hermione, and Black were all stunned for a moment, and they were delighted to find that Ron had actually recovered, and he had successfully resisted the control of the Imperius Curse with his own willpower. They hurriedly grabbed their wands on the ground and rushed towards Ron and Peter Pettigrew outside the castle.
"Damn, shit, what are you doing?!" Peter Pettigrew screamed, not understanding why Ron had broken free from his control.
He snapped a spell, ready to regain control of Ron.
However, Peter Pettigrew was surprised to find that the Imperius Curse had lost its effect, his magic could not control Ron at all, and the boy in front of him successfully resisted the Imperius Curse with his strong willpower.
It's impossible, it's just incredible.
"No!" Peter Pettigrew couldn't believe Ron was able to do this.
Is this still Ron?
Is this still the lowly, cowardly boy who looks like himself?
Is this still the same loser, mediocre in strength, full of jealousy and resentment towards his friends?
Peter Pettigrew doesn't understand what happened to Ron, he doesn't!
With the help of a force born from the depths of his heart, Ron's willpower is stronger than ever.
That's the power of friendship, and Peter Pettigrew, who uses friends as an exchange for profit, and he, the pathetic betrayer, will never understand this.
Ron breaks free from the Imperius Curse, and he defeats Peter Pettigrew!
Now, out of the six people in front of the gates of Hogwarts Castle, only Peter is the only loser.
"Come on, Harry, come on, Aven, I've got him!" Ron's eyes were red, and he grabbed Peter Pettigrew's right hand with his wand, crying out loudly, "Leave me alone, hurry up and attack him, don't let this guy run away!"
"No, don't blame it!" Peter Pettigrew screamed, his voice hoarse and weak.
He struggled to break free of Ron's grasp, but Ron went crazy, ignoring the damage he had suffered and grabbed him tightly with both hands.
Looking at Aven, Harry, Hermione, and Blake getting closer and closer, Peter Pettigrew chanted incantations in a panic.
Since there is no way to control Ron, at least let the boy stop moving.
Before Peter Pettigrew could successfully cast the spell, an unknown animal suddenly passed under his feet and tripped him.
Bang!
Peter and Ron Pettigrew fell to the ground with a heavy blow, splashing up large clouds of dust.
Peter Pettigrew lifted his head a few inches in surprise and saw an animal burrowing into the grass beside him, the animal felt familiar to him, and he tried to see what it was, but sweat blurred his eyes, and the black, thin, agile figure flashed.
In the distant sky, the temperature at night is unusually cold, and it is getting colder and colder, and the temperature is dropping rapidly.
Then, Peter Pettigrew saw that it was the Dementors, at least two hundred of them, drawn to Ron's shouts, huddled together in a black mass with a suffocating cold, sliding towards them around the walls of Hogwarts.
The cold sensation seeped into his internal organs, and the mist began to blur his vision.
The Dementors were getting closer, and the bunch was coming from the darkness on all sides, more and more, ready to surround him.
"No, don't!" Peter Pettigrew muttered weakly, trembling uncontrollably.
He was very, very scared, he was scared!
He thought of what Evan had said to himself again, that these Dementors were there to capture him, and that they were going to suck their own souls!
Peter Pettigrew couldn't care about Ron in his arms anymore, he couldn't care about controlling the boy anymore, and he instinctively wanted to run away as he watched Blake, Aven, Harry, Hermione, and the Dementors coming from afar!
There was so much going on tonight that it was completely beyond his control.
He didn't want to delay for a moment, he suddenly found that he was too weak, too cowardly, too humble, he was not ready to carry out this failed plot, he did not have the courage to stay here!
He's going to find the Dark Lord, and he's going to hide behind the strong as before
For the weak, hiding behind the strong is the wisest choice. (To be continued.) )
