Chapter 319: Ludo Bagman (Part 1)
No matter how much excitement was going in the castle, it was Sunday.
When the young wizards arrived at the Quidditch arena, they could hardly believe their eyes.
The stand, which could only accommodate the students of four colleges, seemed to be expanded overnight into a spectator seat that could accommodate tens of thousands of people at the same time.
Rows of seats stretched out into the air.
Young wizards were placed in their original positions in the respective houses, with the newly expanded slots reserved for Quidditch enthusiasts, friends and relatives of the players, and officials of the Ministry of Magic.
At the entrance to the specially set up audience passage, there are many loud and screaming wizards around.
With a gloomy face, Filch stood with a wizard from the Ministry of Magic, meticulously checking the wizards' tickets.
"First class!" the witch's voice suddenly became respectful and restrained.
"Top Floor! Go up from the right side to the top floor. She instructed enthusiastically.
"Thank you, Claire. Mr. Harris smiled softly at her.
Behind him, Mrs. Harris led Emily by the hand.
Albert, Daisy, and Lunn greeted Claire politely.
"In the ministry, I like this family the most. Always so gentle and polite. Looking at Mr. Harris and their way away, Claire said excitedly to Filch.
"It's really not annoying. Filch thought of the boy who was destined to be the protagonist today, and rarely agreed.
The staircase leading to the box on the top floor is covered with a fuchsia carpet.
Mr. Harris and his party climbed the stairs with the crowd, and slowly the crowd entered the stands on the left and right.
Mr. Harris's group went up until they reached the top of the stairs.
In the box, an unexpected person actually appeared there.
"Ellen!" Emily ran over happily and hugged Ellen's waist.
"Why are you here? The coach is willing to let you out, you can't sneak out, right?" asked Mrs. Harris worriedly.
Alan scratched his head in embarrassment, Mrs. Harris was right.
He had the idea after learning the box number for Mr. Harris's family last night.
When the house-elf Maggie saw Mr. Harris's family, she immediately apparitioned and found Alan.
Eren immediately turned into a phoenix and teleported to the bag, just a minute before them.
In Mrs. Harris's caring gaze, in Mr. Harris's admonitions, and in Emily's childish words, Alan's pre-race nervousness was greatly reduced.
Shortly after their arrival, a man arrived, making Mr. Harris's box even more lively.
"Hey, Director Harris!" a big-bellied wizard walked up and waved warmly to Mr. Harris.
"Deputy Director. Lunn corrected in a whisper.
Alan looked at the man in front of him curiously, and had a guess in his heart about the identity of the person who came.
The man was wearing a long Quidditch robe with a wide yellow and black crossbar and a large wasp splashed with ink on his chest.
It seems that he used to be physically strong, but now he is starting to decline.
The robes were tightly taut over his big belly, and his short blond hair made him look like a swollen wasp indeed, which was quite funny.
However, he didn't seem to mind, but instead blushed his stomach and greeted Mr. Harris warmly.
"Ludo, Director of the Department of Physical Education at the Ministry of Magic, is the most important person at the moment. Mr. Harris introduced to Allen.
Ludo was thrilled to hear Mr. Harris's words.
Allen feels that Mr. Harris now has a special charm in that he can always get to the heart of the person and speak to the hearts of others.
"This is my youngest son, Alan Harris. Mr. Harris introduced Allen, who was smiling on the sidelines, to Ludo.
Hearing Alan's name, Ludo's eyes rolled a few times, and then his face showed a slight look of surprise.
He looked at Alan carefully and clapped his hands suddenly.
"Aha, you're famous! You were all in the newspapers a while ago!"
"Interestingly, the Seeker for England today has the same name as you!"
He paused again, pretending to look suspiciously at Allen's blue robe.
Seeing this, Mr. Harris knew that Ludo was deliberately complimenting, but he still couldn't help laughing: "That's what you think, Alan is the Seeker of the England team." ”
Ludo sighed in amazement, "What a young man!" Geraldine let you go around at this juncture. ”
His eyes suddenly widened, and he asked Alan with an innocent look: "Geraldine doesn't know that you came out, you won't become a phoenix and teleport over, right?"
Alan's face was a little hot, and he nodded in response.
"Ludo, are you the narrator today?" Mr. Harris saw his youngest son's embarrassment and diverted Ludo's attention with his words.
"Of course. It was the first match of the World Cup, and it was held at Hogwarts again, which had a special significance. Ludo slouched into his chair, "But the minister apparently doesn't think so, and he declined my invitation!"
"That's his regret, and the games with you are extraordinary. Mr. Harris laughed.
Alan thought that Mr. Harris's answer was wonderful, and instead of discrediting Fudge according to Ludo's words, he praised Ludo and made him laugh exceptionally happily.
Then, as more and more people came up, Alan looked at the time and said goodbye to Mr. Harris.
Before leaving, he caught a glimpse of Mr. Harris shaking hands with Lucius Malfoy.
For the next half hour, the box they were in gradually filled with people.
People kept coming up to shake Mr. Harris's hand, and Lunn was accompanied by a smile and no impatience.
"I heard there will be a performance of the team's mascot before the game, right?" Emily asked aloud, looking at Ludo.
"Of course, you'll love it. The national teams bring some exotic animals from their home countries and put on a show before the game. ”
Ludo looked at his handcard, his eyes a little wandering, "You're going to like them, I'm going to like them." ”
Emily wanted to ask, but Ludo suddenly stood up and looked around.
Emily obediently closed her mouth and looked at Ludo curiously.
Although he was dressed strangely, Emily thought he was cute.
"Are you all ready?"
Ludo said, his round face shining like a giant spherical piece of cheese.
Hearing his words, everyone who had been greeting in the box sat down one after another, and the box fell silent.
He turned his gaze back to Mr. Harris, who was in the highest position in the box at the moment.
Mr. Harris nodded kindly at him and smiled encouragingly.
Ludo drew his wand, pointed it to his throat and said, "Loud voice!"
Then his words thundered through the entire packed stadium.
