When I was conducting a patent search, I happened to find a patent for the use of integrated circuit cards instead of magnetic cards.

At that time, I immediately thought about whether it was possible to replace the magnetic stripe in the phone card with integrated circuits. Bank cards have strict requirements for encryption technology, and it is not easy to gain the trust of the financial industry with new products. In contrast, the promotion of calling cards is much easier, and many cards are bearer, plug-and-play, and there is little loss if lost. The use of IC chips instead of magnetic stripes makes the usability stronger. The IC card will not be unusable because the magnetic stripe is scratched or unintentionally demagnetized!" Li Jian was a little restrained at first, but the more he got to the back, the more confident he became, and he became very fluent in speaking.

He and Cai Jian cooperated, and it only took ten months to develop this IC calling card. During the whole process of developing IC cards, the two successfully applied for 7 new patents. As soon as the finished IC card was released, it was highly recognized by the Oriental Research Institute.
