Chapter Seventy-Seven: Confession and Leniency
"A-li-K-" Aris shouted again, "I know it's you, and it's only you, come out quickly." β
As he spoke, the basement door creaked open, and Eric walked in with a black birdcage. He looked at Aris who was hanging upside down and said with a smile: "Arris, I haven't seen you for a long time, you have grown taller again." β
"To be honest, I really don't want to see you. Arispi said with a smile, "For the sake of the past, let me go." β
Eric turned the cross around. Ariston breathed a sigh of relief, feeling that the qi and blood in his body were flowing a lot. He snuggled his bound hands with his mouth: "I admit it, you won this time, hurry up and let me go." β
Eric glanced at Chiko and Caitlin and said to him, "I'm sorry, I don't have that right. β
"Come on. Aris pursed his lips contemptuously, "When have you become an obedient baby, let me go, we can sit down and drink a glass of soda and discuss something." β
"What do you think I'm going to discuss with you?" said Eric, tentatively.
"How do I know!" Arris was puzzled, "it was you who ruined my carefully prepared plan, I really don't understand, do you suffer from 'Jefferson's after-effects, and now you are a complete peacekeeper?"
"Maybe. Haven't you heard of the inherent goodness of human nature?" Erik pouted.
"Oh~ stop. That's not what you said 2 years ago. Aris shrugged off Eric's posturing.
"Two years ago, what did I say?" said Eric, as he wished, to steer Arris's question on the right track.
"2 years ago you-" Suddenly, Aris's words came to an abrupt halt, and he began to look at Eric strangely with dripping eyes, as if there was a stranger standing in front of him.
"2 years ago, what the hell happened!" Chiko was impatient.
But this didn't seem to affect Arris's thinking, and he looked at Chiko and Caitlin next to him with his eyes in checks, and then looked back at Eric. After a moment, he grinned at Eric, "Y- are you amnesia." β
"What did you say, amnesia?" said Eric, pretending to be confused.
"Don't pretend, my great detective. Arris mocked, "You went to great lengths to let two beautiful women who look like a city catch me, not just to tie me up here?" And you have a great memory, you can even remember the route of the hellish place in the underground tunnels of Paris, and you can forget what you said yourself, or the motto that you hold as the guideline. β
"You're smart, it's annoying. Eric reluctantly confessed.
"Each other, each other. Arris smirked, as if he had a chance of victory, "Now you can let me go." β
"I'll have to ask these two ladies. Eric blinked, and turned to Chiko and Catelyn, "What do you think?"
Caitlyn shrugged her shoulders, she knew that Eric must be prepared, so she smiled faintly, "He's so annoying, if I could, I'd really like to punch him." As he spoke, he rubbed his fists.
"I think so too. Chiko chimed in.
"It seems that you are really not popular with the ladies. Eric smiled wickedly at Arris.
Aerys remembers the last time he saw Eric's face, it made him vomit for a week. But he still resisted to the end: "Oh, don't forget, old Puffer is dead, and now only I know best what happened 2 years ago." β
"Looks like you know a lot. "Eric was prepared. He lifted the black cloth covering the birdcage, revealing a white dove in the cage. Awakened by the light, the white dove made a "cooing" sound.
Aris couldn't guess Eric's thoughts: "You don't think a pigeon will make me speak." β
Eric didn't answer, and he pulled out a small glass bottle from his pocket, which contained black dots the size of five or six sesame seeds. At this time, even Chiko and Caitlyn didn't understand what Eric was trying to do.
Eric then uncorked the oak bottle, gently shook the glass bottle, and carefully poured one of the grains into the feed basin of the birdcage. Then he made a "cooing" pigeon cry from his mouth, teasing the white pigeon to hurry up and eat. The white pigeon, who had been hungry for a day, did not hesitate to swallow the "feed" in one gulp.
"What are you doing, feeding the birds?" Arris had a foreboding feeling. At this time, all eyes were on the birdcage. As soon as the white pigeon swallowed the black "feed", it began to make a "cooing" low cry, and then only heard the low cry getting faster and faster, and the white pigeon began to flutter in the bird cage like a frenzy, as if there was a fire burning its own feathers, and the white feathers on its wings floated out of the cage one by one because of the violent incition, and fell to the ground in front of Arris's eyes. Eventually, the exhausted white dove collapsed in its cage, and only signs of its life could be seen from its slightly undulating chest.
"You're so cruel!" Chiko couldn't help but accuse. Caitlin smiled as if she was used to it.
Aerys stared at the white dove in the birdcage, and smiled stiffly: "You, you also like to play with poison now? β
"Of course not, how could I have contracted such a boring problem. Eric deliberately brought the birdcage to the base of Aris's nose.
"So, then, what is this?" Arris turned his head, as if he saw his fate in the white dove.
"Don't worry, you're going to end up with a lot more bang than this little one. Eric seemed to guess Arris's thoughts, he put down the cage, took out the small glass bottle, and shook it in front of Arris's eyes, "Do you know what this is?"
Arris didn't answer, just shook his head nervously, but he was sure it wasn't a good thing.
"The price of these small sesame seeds is 1,000 euros. There's a nice name, it's calledβ" Eric said in a deliberately long voice, and then word by word, "Indian devil chili seeds, which have the hottest spicy flavor in the world." β
When Aris heard that this was not some torturous poison, his hanging heart was half relieved, but he still had palpitations when he remembered the painful appearance of the white dove when he struggled just now.
"Although it looks a little spicy, ~ maybe it's because the pigeons are used to eating light, and I'm not spicy. "Aris is still lucky.
"Well, I didn't say I was going to feed you like a pigeon. Eric pulled out another pair of tweezers, and with great cherishment, took out a black devil pepper seed, and dangled it in front of Arris's eyes, "Do you know what it's like to burn your butt?"
"What? What does this have to do with chili seeds?" But she saw Arris's eyes widen in horror, and his mouth was broken and he said, "No, no, no, no, Eric, you are doing this against Jefferson's righteousness." β
Eric ignored Arris's feeble admonition, and continued to gesture in front of his eyes: "One, just this little one, gently, gently, let it make a free fall from the tweezers, and then fall onto your ass, and slowly, slowly, slide inβfinallyβjust a few secondsβ" As he spoke, Erik's mouth suddenly made a threatening "pop" sound, and Aris couldn't help but tighten his ass, looking in horror at the devil's pepper seed caught in the tweezers.
Only then did Qianzi understand that what Eric said about burning his ass turned out to be what he meant, and he couldn't help but roll his eyes. Although this method is not only dirty, but also disgusting, I have to say that using devil chili seeds as props is much stronger than pouring chili water.
"I remember you drew 5 oversized yellow clusters at the opening ceremony of the last G5 summit. Eric secretly rejoiced, and suddenly came up with a brilliant idea, "Do you want to have a good up-and-down pass?"
Aris immediately understood the meaning of "transparent up and down", and muttered in despair: "You, you are not only a bastard, but, but a complete pervert. β
"Looks like I really need to teach you the etiquette of a prisoner. Eric took out another pair of small scissors and asked Chiko and Caitlin, "Which of you will untie the ......" Chiko glared fiercely, Eric immediately retracted the second half of the sentence, and turned to laugh and said, "Forget it, you ~ are not very convenient." β
With that, Eric took the scissors and cut them towards Arris's pants. Before the scissors could touch his pants, Arris surrendered: "You won, Eric, damn it, you won again, what do you want to know, we could have talked about it." β
"I don't believe you're so honest. Since you are willing to cooperate, this bottle of devil pepper seeds has to be put away first. "But before you confess, I would like to state that, as you said, I have forgotten about the underground tunnels in Paris two years ago, but I have recovered some of my memories by accident. If your word is the slightest bit out of the way, this bottle of chili seeds is still yours. β
"I don't know much. Like a defeated rooster, Aris said in frustration about 2 years ago: One day 2 years ago, Eric approached him and asked him if he could remotely modify the fingerprint combination lock of a suitcase. For him, that was a no-brainer. So he gave Eric, the magnetic ring* he had invented.
"Wait, what's the matter with the magnetic ring*. "Chiko had never heard of this unfamiliar term.
"For hackers, no network is like an eagle with a broken wing. Take that suitcase as an example, the fingerprint lock program of that suitcase is completely isolated from the network, and it relies entirely on data cables to transmit data. And this magnetic ring* comes with a mobile phone card that can access the Internet, which is through a weak electromagnetic reaction, resonates with the circuit of the program chip, and forcibly inputs the network signal, so that I take over a program for only 3 minutes. Arris then added, "But I have to say that the fingerprint lock protection program is the most sophisticated algorithm I've ever seen, and it took me seven minutes, which is incredible." β
But to Chiko and Caitlin's surprise, this little man, who looked like he had just become an adult, had only taken 7 minutes to crack the program lock compiled by the Nicholas School.
"And then?" Eric continued.
"And then? no more. Arris looked innocent and confused, "You just let me unlock that fingerprint lock, delete all fingerprint records, and replace them with your fingerprints." What exactly happened after that, I don't know at all. I'm just a hacker, and I'm only responsible for hacking programs. β
Although neither Chiko nor Caitlin moved, judging by Arris's statements and reactions, both of them believed that what Aris had said, at least so far, was very consistent with the facts they had.
But Eric was not in a hurry to draw conclusions, he paced back and forth in front of Aris unhurriedly, as if every step was arguing Arris's words.
