Volume 1 Demon World Strife Introduction Ferry

Next Chapter

Nowhere to be founded, the ferry.

The sky was so gray that it looked like it had been smeared with ink, and the raindrops seemed to have been dyed and fell from the sky like beads with broken threads.

There was no other figure to be seen for a long time at the empty and narrow crossing, except for the occasional bird flying from among the branches beside it, and then disappearing again.

An old man wearing a tattered waistcoat with an open placket, his hands in a ball, half-sitting leaning against the wooden post of the tethered boat, a black oar stained with the traces of time, one end was pressed to the ground, and the other end was caught under the armpit by the old man. The old man was wearing an old hat at this time, and looked at the other side of the ferry from time to time. The old man is the ferryman of this ferry.

A noisy sound gradually sounded in the distance, jumping to the ferryman's ears, and the old man struggled to turn his gaze away, only to realize that the owner of the voice had come to him.

An old Taoist, wearing a blue Taoist robe, holding a whisk in his hand, riding a white short-haired domestic pig under the seat of the Taoist chief, about half a zhang long, the Taoist priest sits cross-legged, holding a long beard, and is a fairy wind bone, and the pig under the buttocks does not make people feel abrupt at all, but it seems so harmonious. On either side of the Taoist priest, there were two black wild boars following, and the noisy sound just now was made by these two wild boars. Different from the quiet and docile domestic pigs under the Taoist chief's seat, these two wild boars have long black manes like steel needles, and their bodies are more delicate than those of white pigs, only about 1 meter in size, and the two fangs stand up, which is particularly hideous and terrifying. When the two wild boars saw that the chief had stopped, they ran back and forth on the edge of the ferry, their noses twitching back and forth, and arching on the ground from time to time.

"Brother, please also take you to the other side of the road. The Taoist chief said sideways to the old man.

The old man got up, helped the hat on his head, bent his body, dragged the oars, and walked towards the tattered ferry moored by the ferry.

"I'm afraid my boat is small, I'm afraid I can't carry you as a great god, if you don't dislike it, please come up! But these pigs, you have to figure it out yourself!" The old man came to the boat, put the oars on the boat, pointed to the middle of the boat, and motioned for the old man to take the boat.

"Then there is Brother Lao!" After Lao Dao finished speaking, he didn't get down from the white pig, only to see the white pig suddenly take off and jump into the boat steadily, the old man was not surprised, rowed the oars, and began to row to the opposite side, and the old man was not in a hurry at all, looked at the old man with a smile, and waited to go to the other side.

The two wild boars saw that the boat had started, and no longer continued to probe by the ferry, but turned around and followed in the direction of the boat, only to see the two wild boars with four feet on the water, as if flat ground, just blindly sniffing and walking forward.

Soon, the boat gradually came to the middle of the river, at this time I saw that the sky was more gloomy, and the sound of the wind was whistling from the surroundings, the rain had stopped at this moment, and the water in the river began to roll up continuously, rolling up yellow foam, for the sudden change, the old man and the old way did not pay attention to it at all, the old man was still concentrating on rowing the boat, and the old man was concentrating on closing his eyes and recuperating. The river was still tumbling, creating many, many small whirlpools, and suddenly, a thunderclap fell from the sky, and if you looked closely at the whirlpools below, it seemed as if something was about to emerge from them.

Sure enough, I soon saw that in the middle of the whirlpool, a group of golden carp appeared, and the carp quickly swam in the direction of the whirlpool, and then jumped out of the whirlpool violently, and then fell to the side, and at this time, the carp turned into a golden dragon.

The little dragons swam freely in the water, and suddenly, the two wild boars that followed the Taoist priest quickly aimed at the little dragons, opened their mouths of blood, and bit a few small dragons in one bite, and then threw a few small dragons to the boat with a bang.

When the little dragon saw this scene, he quickly fled, and the two wild boars followed, and soon caught up, and the teeth grinded, and the wild boar did not eat, but did not throw the little dragon to the boat, but only bit it to death, and then continued, and soon the wild boars seemed to be in no interest, so they stopped, and the boat came to the other side of the river.

"Brother, these little things will be used as the fare for this ship, and there is a labor boatman!"

The old man didn't answer, he didn't even look at the few little dragons that were thrown up just now, he just signaled that Lao Dao could get off the boat.

The white pig jumped to the shore again, and the old man did not stop long, but rowed away.

Lao Dao didn't care, he looked up at the scenery in front of him, it was no different from what he imagined, the mountains of corpses and the sea of blood, the skeletons everywhere, and the endless yin wind blowing, which made people shudder. When he looked back, the old man had already reached the opposite bank, still the same as before, and continued to wait for the next person to cross the river.

Lao Dao patted the white pig under the seat, the white pig changed its shape with a whoosh, turned into a white lion, and the two black wild boars turned into wings and flew towards the sky, and soon disappeared.

And this ferry, this boat, all these scenes also turned into a puff of green smoke after the Taoist disappeared, and dissipated with the wind.
