Chapter 10: The Royal Princess Victoria

Twelve years ago.

"Victoria, Victoria, my sweetheart. Queen Elizabeth bent down and gently brushed aside the dense branches, and smiled dotingly: "The skirt is exposed!"

"Well, you've found it every time!"

The queen smiled brightly, and her arms loomed in the silk gauze sleeves, as if they were the trunk of a new tree, with smooth curves and a great sense of line.

She picked up the mischievous Victoria, and the V-cross back collar that opened to the waistcoat revealed her perfectly delicate skin, which made the sun feel ashamed.

The sun is gradually softening.

"You sisters, you sisters, you are really sisters! " She patted Victoria's off-white ball-shaped sleeveless dress, and then took a giggling Margaret and rubbed her short fluffy and curly blonde hair.

Two people walked up to them.

"This is Henry, you can play with him!" the queen smiled kindly, and then politely said to Henry's mother, "Madame, how about we go over there to enjoy the flowers?"

Henry's mother was humble and elegant.

The group and the servants followed the two of them slowly into the sea of flowers, leaving only a few personal servants and servants to serve on the side of the princess and Henry.

"Who are you?" said Margaret, who was more daring than Victoria, who never cared what she thought, and who did not take the obvious freckles on her fair little face seriously.

Victoria just pinched the hem of her skirt and looked at Henry with wide-eyed curiosity.

"I'm Henry!" he smiled and straightened the bow around his neck, looking sunny.

Beads of sweat ran down the corners of his sideburns and down his face.

Victoria's gaze followed the beads of sweat, eventually falling into his deep dimples.

The transparent water droplets reflected the brilliance of the sun in all colors, just like his sparkling eyes.

"You're so cute!" Victoria was ignorant, and as soon as she finished speaking, she raised two fleshy little hands and poked Henry's dimples without saying a word.

O'Henry raised an eyebrow helplessly, "You're cute too!" he grabbed Victoria's little fleshy hand and rubbed it vigorously, like a childish and funny revenge between children.

Victoria laughed happily, giggles as crisp and melodious as a silver bell.

Sometimes angelic smiles are contagious.

"Hahaha" The three children looked innocent.

The lady and the queen who were greeting each other in the sea of flowers turned back in unison, both with a look of maternal kindness.

The warm sunshine and innocent smile seemed to melt a qiē.

That summer, she was sure that she had met the prince of her life.

"How about we play hide and seek together?" Margaret grabbed Victoria's little fleshy hand, her eyes widened, and the few freckles on her face were full of life, as if many elves were gathering to talk about anecdotes outside the world.

"Okay!"

"Henry, you're coming for us, coming for us?" Victoria poked another fleshy finger into his dimple.

"Yes!" O'Henry was not disgusted, as if he had already seen it, but he found the little princess in front of him very interesting.

"Whoever finds it first will be your bride, okay?" Margaret always had a lot of ghost ideas.

Victoria, who was smiling against the light, seemed to have been glimpsed into the little secret in her heart, she blushed and said in a mosquito-like voice: "You must find me first!"

"Huh! You count a hundred times blindfolded!

Margaret staggered in Victoria's direction toward the queen.

"Victoria, let's hide under the skirt of the queen mother!"

As she spoke, Margaret stuck out her tongue to burrow under the queen's dress.

The queen tilted her head, she couldn't do anything with this eccentric little daughter, so she took her skirt and let her squeeze in.

"No, I don't!" Victoria broke free of Margaret's grasp and ran towards the Gilded Treasure Pavilion.

"Ten, Nine, Eight"

She hid under the table in the gazebo, and peeked out a little of her skirt so that he could find me, as his mother did, she thought.

"I'm coming for you, I'm coming!" said O'Henry, turning his gaze against the light, looking east and west.

Because of the heat, he frowned slightly, and between the long and curly eyelashes, he seemed to be happy, and he went straight to the gazebo, "Haha! I found you!"

"It's boring, Victoria, you can't hide, you find it every time!" said Margaret, pouting, and lifted the queen from the bottom of her skirt.

The queen's skirt swirled a low-key wave in the air, and then it was quiet and smooth.

The queen represents the elegance and humility of a royal woman, and her dress is carefully calculated in its making, so that it is impossible to show her teeth and claws at any time.

"Then I'm your bride!" Victoria stepped forward.

O'Henry subconsciously took a step back, he thought he was going to poke him in the cheek again.

"I am your bride and I allow you to kiss"

"Victoria, Victoria!" the queen knocked on Princess Victoria's boudoir, "oh, my sweetheart, look at you so haggard!"

"Mother. ”

The camera fades into blur and fast-forwards.

Victoria curled the corners of her lips slightly, as if she was still immersed in the happy moments of childhood, and she wiped the tears that had slipped to her ears.

The years seemed to pity the queen extraordinarily, and the ten years of time made her look even more charming and elegant.

"Henry is here, waiting for you in your father's study. ”

"Henry?" Victoria seemed a little surprised, since Jin Qixuan's appearance, Henry hadn't been here for a long time, "Mother, I'll dress up a little bit, I'll be here in a while!" Victoria subconsciously stroked her sideburns with fashionable curly hair.

"Henry?" Victoria gently closed the European-style brown door to her study.

"Victoria. O'Henry turned to look at Victoria, smiling and pursing his lips.

"Why are you free today?" Victoria didn't know where to look, her chin gently rubbing her father's brown table.

He remembered that it was designed and made by the best craftsmen in the palace.

"I remember that I have finished reading a few books that I borrowed here a few days ago, and I want to borrow some history. O'Henry smiled lightly.

Victoria sat on a khaki chaise longue embroidered with roses, and lowered her head to straighten her silk gloves.

O'Henry used to think she was very elegant in this way.

The antique frosted glass turned the sunlight off-white and shone on Victoria's smooth neck, which made her face no longer look so pale, and the blurred light polished her skin like a ghostly stalactite.

"Jin Qixuan is an illegitimate child, is the gossip that you took a walk?"

O'Henry broke the awkward silence first.

Victoria jerked her head up, her eyes deep.

"Is that you?" said O'Henry, looking at him earnestly.

"Yes. She lowered her head, her voice calm, her well-defined collarbone looking unusually tight.

"You've disappointed me so much. O'Henry frowned, said softly, and left without looking back.

Victoria only felt that the golden bookshelves on all sides forced her to breathe, she lowered her head, her bare back trembled slightly, "Henry"

A plump teardrop fell on the back of the hand like clotted white jade, "I'm sorry"
