Prologue Prologue 2 The Fall of the Elven Empire

The "Ancient Elves" are a race of wisdom with a long history, they are not very tall, and they do not like to fight. Perhaps because of this, the torrent of destruction in the War of the Elder Gods did not harm them. On the contrary, after they were so imbued with such two powers, the race was able to evolve. And because of the different contact powers, there is also a wonderful differentiation, and different types of modern elves are born. Because of this, they have preserved the painful memories of the "Ancient Calamity".

Nowadays, some paleontologists in the human empire believe that elves and humans actually have a common ancestor, but just as some ancient elves have degenerated into greedy and ugly "cave elves", humans and dwarves are also degraded "plain elves" and "mountain elves", but the deterioration is not so serious. However, other scholars disagree, arguing that humans should still be considered plains spirits ethnically, but that humans have traded noble souls and long lifespans for better magical talents. Objectively, most people actually agree with the first statement.

Because humans have been slaves to orcs and elves for a long time.

After the Primeval Calamity, the elves obtained the gem that seemed to contain the entire starry sky and named it "Tears of the Stars", but for a long time, they did not know how to move the gem. It wasn't until the end of the Old Elven Age that they finally pioneered the use of magic. Taking advantage of the fact that they were the most magically gifted race on the continent besides dragons and sacred beasts, they defeated the brutal and violent orc empire and established their own civilization. They impressed the remaining Pegasus descendants with their noble demeanor, and intimidated the dragons with their sheer numbers. Even the most famous orc king in the history books, Egal Beamon, was slain by the original Elven King with the Tears of the Stars, and the whole process was as relaxed as the Elven King walking in his own royal garden.

As the beasts of the beginning of heaven and earth, the Bimon were so blessed that almost no magic could hurt them, and even so, they still couldn't withstand the immense magic contained in the Tears of the Stars.

After this, the Tears of the Stars were inlaid in the Elven King's sword, the sacred sword that represented the power and responsibility of the Elves.

"Such an empire is as eternal as the stars. This is the most common phrase in the history books of the Elven Dynasty.

Strictly speaking, the elves did not treat humans and other races as slaves, as their gentle and polite nature did not allow them to do so. The elves even allowed orcs to enter their realm. They often say that they do not want to subvert the royal power of the orcs, but that they cannot stand the bullying of other races by the orcs.

But in fact, in the elven society, all other races feel inferior because the elves are too elegant and beautiful. This makes others ashamed of themselves as long as they are in the same room as the elves.

Therefore, seven thousand years after the "Star Jewel" family changed its name to "Star Crown" and established the Elven Kingship, a dragon finally took on a human form and stole the Sword of Eternal Kingship with the layout of serving the Elven court for a hundred years. Although the dragon was eventually killed, the body was nowhere to be found, and the sword of kingship was successfully recaptured. But the tears of the stars embedded in the weight pendant were gone.

When the other races learned of what was supposed to be top secret, they began to stir up, and finally the orcs, humans, kraken, and other races built an army to destroy the so-called eternal dynasty, but in this war, there are too many mysteries for future generations to solve.

In this melee, the humans, who have shown extremely high magical talents, have emerged victorious. It can be said that their talents are much higher than those of elves, and although there is a large difference in talent within their race, they generally have a strong growth ability. Unlike elves, even though humans are born with the ability to perceive magic, the process of increasing mana savings takes a long time.

In the course of the campaign, the gems disappeared, and the artifacts left over from the ancients were damaged. Since then, the world's treasures have been missing.

In the years that followed, however, news of the legendary artifact occasionally came to life. It's just that every then there will be a bloody storm, and even several empires will fall. Over time, this stone became known as the "Stone of Calamity". But the trouble is that the rulers can't afford to remain indifferent to this small gem. Because if it is obtained by others, it is likely to trigger a war of annihilation. And if you get it yourself, you may be able to regain the glory of the Eternal Empire.

After that, several human empires were destroyed by their own greed and strife, and were replaced by empires built by a hybrid of elves and humans. They are called "sub-elves", and they have a more stable psychology and a longer lifespan than ordinary humans, but the price is that their magical talent is not as high as that of native humans, but it is not much different, and overall, they are undoubtedly the most superior race on the continent now.
