No. 005 poem Ask the streetlight
Ask for street lights
January 10, 1990
I dare not walk in front of you
I'm afraid of hurting your feet
∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞
One step away is a smooth road
There's only one leg
Sink too deep
You can't help yourself
∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞
You only have one eye
It grows on the top of the head
∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞
Why? Always after the sunny days have passed
before opening his dim eyes
Let's take a look and look up
I couldn't see the gods who were three feet close to me watching silently
I can't see the moon, and I'm looking for it
You can't see the stars winking at you
Friends who can't see themselves have spread to the ends of the earth
You're always lonely looking down
∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞
For whom the wind is exposed all night
Not moving an inch until dawn
∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞
You look at it without blinking your eyelids
I saw through the hustle and bustle
I saw the complicated relationship clearly
The glitz is endless, and you look down on it a little
It's dark and boundless, and you can see through a few inches
Streetlights, have you ever been young
Why is your gaze always so dim?
∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞
The road is the dragon, and you are the dragon's claws
The road is the boat, and you are the oar
The road is the fish, you are the fin
Where is the eloquent mouth
Where is the sense of smell chasing the smell
Where is the spiritual ear that catches the sound of the wind?
∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞
The winds of debauchery will shake you
Brilliant lightning wants to seduce you
The thunder of the heavens will smash you awake
The whip of the storm will wrap around you
You don't give a damn
You hang your head and stick to your integrity
A intestine leads to the ground
Whether or not anyone is watching
You haven't even lifted your loins
∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞
I always ask you for directions when you're confused
Why do you bend into a question mark and stare at the soles of your feet every time?
