It could be coming back to see your family, or you didn't bring anything with you and came back to get it, or you were hungry and thirsty and went home to find something to eat.
The relapse period is calculated. The first seven times are said by people who don't understand. The repetition is based on the emptiness of the pillar on the day of death. Therefore, it may be the day of the funeral, or it may take more than ten days and 20 days to return to the funeral.

At the same time, on the first seven days of the day, a bowl of water and a bowl of grain grains should be placed at the door of the filial piety house, and the meaning of placing the water is to let the ancestors wash away the dust, avoid disasters, and go on the road with peace of mind!

For those who passed away suddenly and unexpectedly, most of them will report their dreams to their relatives on the first seven days, and if their family members dream of it or see it at home, don't be afraid!
Quietly ask the deceased, help him properly handle the unfinished business, and let him rest assured that he will go west, the bright road, and the road of Yaochi. After the first seven days, the ancestors will climb the Wangxiang Platform and start the road of Huangquan Road, never to return.
