Chapter Twenty-Nine: Eruption
Gloria lay on her side on the bed, drawing Snape's sleeping face in the faint sunlight.
The eyes that are usually the most attractive are tightly closed, and all that is commendable is the high bridge of the nose, and perhaps smooth skin?
Gloria thought and couldn't help but laugh.
Snape opened his eyes in a daze, looking at the bright sunlight behind the curtains, a little stunned.
But then, his face changed dramatically, and he reached for his wand, and looked at the timeβ14:34.
He got up from the bed in a hurry and rushed into the bathroom without saying a word, Gloria looked at his hurried figure, lowered her eyes, as if thinking of something, and her face turned cold.
By the time Snape came out of the bathroom, Gloria was already dressed and sitting in a chair, the messy sheets that seemed to speak of the madness of the previous night.
Snape's face flushed, and seeing that there were no sweat stains on her body, she was very refreshing, and he knew that she had used to clean up.
He got dressed and stood in the middle of the room, looking at Gloria's nonchalant expression, and hesitated for a moment, "Gloria, is it okay for you to go back by yourself? I'll ...... later"
"I wonder if there's something Mr. Snape needs you to do in a hurry after you leave your girlfriend who was still tender and sweet a second ago?"
Snape opened his mouth, but said nothing.
A hint of disappointment flashed in Gloria's eyes, "Severus, send me back to school." β
It was the first time she had spoken in such a natural, even subtly condescending tone, and Snape was momentarily uncomfortable, but he didn't say anything, didn't look up, and avoided making eye contact with hers.
Gloria resisted the urge to lose her temper, "Severus, send me back to school, I assume that girlfriends are still very important in your eyes." β
There seemed to be some ice in her tone, which made Snape's breath even deeper.
"I'm sorry, Gloria, I love you so much, but ......"
When he said that, Gloria almost laughed.
"I know what you're going to do in a moment. β
Gloria interrupted him unceremoniously, the indifference in her tone that stunned Snape.
"Severus, I've always known that you followed Lucius to meet the Dark Lord, and I'm willing to pretend that I don't know, even though I don't want to see this, but after all, this is your business, I don't want to say more, but now in your heart, the Dark Lord is more important than everything?
Her cold, seemingly unemotional tone made Snape feel ominous, and the ominousness made him irritate, "It's not that I left you, Gloria, it's just two fireplaces to get from here to school, and besides, you're a wizard. β
"So, you have to go today?"
Snape kept his mouth shut, he knew that something bad might happen if he continued to talk, but the pursed lips and the resolute lines on his face still made Gloria clear of his choice.
"I've always known we're different, but for the first time I've realized so clearly how different we really are, Severus, Pendragon is the symbol of the half-blood wizards, and even the leader, I think you understand that, but you still choose the so-called pureblood, it really shocks me. β
Snape looked up at the girl in front of him, "So, let's calm each other down first, Severus, you know, I never, ever be with a Death Eater." β
When she had finished speaking, she turned and left, not looking at the boy in the room who had turned white because of her words.
