Act 32 God's Gift
"Boom?" asked Headmaster Theodore.
"Yes, it's Boom. Doug nodded, "Do you remember the Monopoly we played the other day? Everyone in the game was thinking about how to make higher profits and how to use various means to get resources from their opponents. Under such rules, no one is innocent.
But if we change the rules, let the rules of the game change. Become one person and become rich, and all will be rewarded. Finally, common prosperity will be achieved. What do you think of that?"
Headmaster Theodore closed his eyes and thought for a moment, his silver eyebrows twitching.
Today, the average life expectancy in the United States is less than 35 years.
The principal, who is over 60 years old this year, is no longer in his prime, but he has lived twenty or thirty years longer than most ordinary people, and his life experience is not insignificant.
He slowly opened his eyes and said, "Son, you have a good picture. However, you are just a game, how can I be for all and everyone for me in reality?
If we can do that, child, we will no longer be on earth, but in heaven. ā
"It's possible! As long as the land is publicly owned!" said Doug, "haven't you noticed? The population of the United States has grown, but there is only so much land.
Whether it is to build factories and plant fields, or to lay railways and mine minerals, a lot of land is needed.
Who the owner of the land is determines everything.
If the land is privately owned.
For the scarce resource of land, there will inevitably be competition, and the rules similar to "Monopoly" will evolve, but more complex.
But what if the land is publicly owned and belongs to everyone?
Every penny of the land benefits everyone.
Is it possible to give up the boring game of land grabbing, and all people are fighting for a better tomorrow.
Behind such basic conditions, isn't it "Prosperity"?"
The headmaster followed Doug's train of thought, and a beautiful picture unfolded in front of him. It was a magical sight that had never been seen before.
Doug silently watched the Headmaster's thoughts wander.
He's painting a pie, a pie that is almost impossible to achieve.
The pace of humanity can never be harmonized.
Although the rules of "Monopoly" induce people to be selfish and only for themselves, there will still be people who are willing to serve others.
Although the rules of "Prosperity" advocate that everyone is selfless and serve others, there will still be people who are selfish.
There are people who are willing to fight for the interests of others, and in "Monopoly" they will only be exploited worse by others. It will only make the rich richer. It doesn't affect the rules in the slightest.
But if someone in the world of Prosperity is selfish, even if it is just a handful of people, the rules of Prosperity will collapse.
A rule only needs a few people to follow to work, and whoever does not follow it suffers.
A rule needs to be followed by almost everyone, and once someone "spoils", whoever follows it suffers.
It's not an order of magnitude easier to maintain two sets of rules, the former is easy to achieve, and the latter is easy to collapse.
Therefore, the former is more likely to become real, while the latter is just an illusion.
Doug has lived under both sets of rules, and he has a say in it.
However, for Principal Theodore, who is seeking fame, the rules of "Prosperity" are obviously more topical.
This set of rules is like the paradise in the Bible, and everyone who has experienced the hardships of real life is more eager to have such a carefree ideal hometown and utopia.
"Your idea is good. Principal Theodore exclaimed, "Yes, why can we only "monopolize" and not "prosper"? Has God forsaken the lost lamb and made every lamb selfish?
Don't look old Doug, but I've always had a dream to make life better for everyone.
I've been fighting for it all my life, but I'm lost.
Thank you for opening my eyes to a whole new range of possibilities.
I really hope that the world will prosper. ā
The elderly headmaster was not yet in good shape, and his sonorous voice echoed in the headmaster's room.
"I am honored to be your student. Doug said respectfully.
Although Doug knew that a prosperous world, even if it was built, it would only be a flash in the pan, but that did not prevent Doug from appreciating those who put it into reality.
Principal Theodore's motives may not be pure, just for the sake of fame.
But if he really pushed it all along, wouldn't he be a great man?
There is a Western proverb that says, "If something walks like a duck, talks like a duck, looks like a duck, pecks like a duck, then it is a duck." ā
No matter what Principal Theodore is looking for in his heart, as long as he seems to be fighting for the well-being of the masses, sounds like he is speaking for the masses, and seems to be fighting against the monopoly power, then he is a great man.
Even, even if he is not so great, Doug must make him so great.
Because......
He is now a student of the principal.
If a teacher has an unparalleled fame and stands on the altar, will the disciple he values the most also be shrouded in an aura and have a lot of conveniences?
Doug had seen the tragic fate of those great people, and he didn't want to be great.
He clearly realized that he was just an ordinary person.
Great people pursue "Prosperity", and ordinary people pursue "Monopoly".
"Doug!" called the headmaster.
"In!"
"Just talking to you, I thought about it a lot, and I need to sort it out. Recently, many professors have reported to me that the game "Monopoly" has affected the normal teaching order. You don't have to worry, you can continue to spread your ideas within the school.
Maybe ordinary people don't recognize the charm of "Boom", so you can continue to spread "Monopoly", but don't forget to add "Boom" to it.
There will always be people who will understand "Boom", and there will be more and more. ā
"Yes!" Doug replied, getting the "official endorsement" undoubtedly made the spread of "Monopoly" in Yale safer, "Teacher, you are busy, I will go first." ā
Doug faced the headmaster, stepped back, and finally slowly closed the door.
Principal Theodore, looking at the closed door, couldn't calm down for a long time.
Suddenly, a possibility occurred to him.
"Doug, go backwards......
DOG upside down is......
Gā¦ā¦ Oā¦ā¦ Dā¦ā¦
Christ Jesus is God's messenger to earth, is Doug God's revelation to me?
If not, why would a little wandering beggar know so much?"
He remembered his religious name and muttered to himself, "Is he a gift from God?"
