In order to change the situation that there is no tower without temple, Dali Cultural Bureau spent money in 2004 to rebuild the Chongsheng Temple, the reconstruction project to protect the three towers as the core, on the basis of maintaining the completed bell tower, Yutong Guanyin Palace, the environmental pattern of the leading area, the building community according to the main and secondary three axes, eight nine into eleven layers of layout, the main buildings are Golden-winged Bird Square, the mountain gate, the Dharma Protector Palace, the Maitreya Palace, the eleven-sided Guanyin Palace, the Daxiong Treasure Palace, the Asaya Guanyin Pavilion, the Wanghai Tower, the Luohan Hall, the Patriarch Palace, the Thousand Buddha Corridor, etc.

The Buddha statues in each hall are based on the "Zhang Shengwen Picture Scroll" (also known as the "Dali National Sanskrit Picture Scroll") and the "Five Hundred Arhat Statues" of the Xiaozhu Temple and the cultural relics found in the three pagodas of the Ming Dynasty Liguangxiu, according to the characteristics of Dali's multiculturalism, Buddhism, Zen Buddhism, and Tantric Esoteric Esoteric Eclectic Layout, 617 Buddha statues and ritual vessels are cast in bronze, of which 599 (pieces) are gilded and painted.

The whole antique building complex covers an area of 600 acres, with a construction area of 20,080 square meters, and belongs to the Han Buddhist temple. On April 22, 2005, the reconstruction project of Chongsheng Temple was completed.

The scenic spots of Chongsheng Temple are divided into scenic spots in front of the temple and scenic spots in the temple, and the scenic spots in front of the temple are mainly divided into: three towers of Chongsheng Temple, which are composed of one large and two small, and the largest big tower is called "Qianxun Tower".

The inner wall of the tower runs vertically up and down, and there are wooden staircases.

Nanzhao built a great bell, cast in 871 A.D., Nanzhao built a pole for 12 years, so it is called Nanzhao Jianji Bell. According to Xu Xiake's "Yunnan Travel Diary" record: "the bell is very large, the diameter can be more than zhang, and the thickness is to the ruler, its sound can be eighty miles ......", it is one of the five heavy weapons of Chongsheng Temple, and the three towers are the treasure of the town temple, destroyed in the Qing Xianfeng, Tongzhi years (AD 1856--- 1872) of the war.

On the occasion of Hong Kong's return to China in 1997, the Nanzhao Bell Tower was rebuilt and the Bell Tower was recast. It is designed by the Beijing Ancient Bell Museum according to historical data and cast by Nanjing Chenguang Machinery Factory. The recast of the building bell body is divided into two layers, the upper layer is decorated with six Balami patterns, the lower layer is decorated with six statues of the heavenly king, 3.86 meters high, 2.138 meters in diameter, weighs 16.295 tons, the recast Nanzhao Jian bell is the fourth largest bell cast in China since the Opium War, and the first bell in Yunnan Province.

It is a gilded statue of Guanyin, with a crown on his head, a thin waist and feet, his left arm hanging down and holding a nectar bottle, his right arm raised, and a thin skirt wrapped under his chest[13]. During the Qing Xianfeng period, the rain copper Guanyin Temple was destroyed in the fire, and the hands and clothes of the bronze statue were also damaged. It was not until the 22nd year of Guangxu (1896 AD) that Cai Biao, who was the governor of Dali at the time, repaired part of his damage.

However, the original rain copper Guanyin was cast from black copper, and the part on the later recast was cast from bronze, and its luster and quality were not as good as the original cast. In the early 50s of the 20th century, the Yutong Guanyin Hall was still guarded by two monks with the name of Chaochen and Chaochen. During the Cultural Revolution, it was smashed and returned to the furnace as the object of "breaking the four olds".

In 1999, the Yutong Guanyin Hall was expanded and rebuilt on the original site, the hall is 29.99 meters high, covers an area of 8,100 square meters, and the construction area is 4,384 square meters.

On the 2.2-meter-high white marble Sumeru seat in the center of the hall, there is a 1.8-meter gold-plated copper cast lotus seat, and on the lotus seat stands an 8.6-meter-high copper-cast gold-pasted rain copper Guanyin. The recast rain bronze Guanyin is carefully reproduced according to the photos left at the end of the Qing Dynasty and weighs 11 tons. The face of a kind and kind woman, with a strong and straight male figure, is a statue of the transition period from male Guanyin to female Guanyin in the middle and late Nanzhao period.
