After Jordan agreed to join the Rockets, Lin Cheng couldn't hold back the joy in his heart, and immediately called Dawson and asked him to prepare a contract for Jordan immediately, so as not to have too many dreams at night.

Dawson received a call from Lin Cheng and was so surprised that he jumped three feet high, as an old man in the NBA, Dawson understands very well what Jordan's joining means, not to mention Jordan's competitive level, as long as Jordan comes, there will be a super high attendance rate, there will be sponsors who are catching up, and there will be a lot of dollars!

Jordan joined the Rockets, an annual salary of $30 million is nothing, and the NBA's salary cap cannot be limited, after all, the Rockets' highest-paid Francis and Mobley have been cleared out, and the newly recruited Yao Ming, Parker, and Battier are all rookies, and the Rockets' salary space is sufficient.

"Mr. Dawson, Coach Rudy, great to work with!" Jordan, accompanied by a lawyer, finally signed the big name on that $30 million contract, and Jordan was about to play for the Rockets in the 2001-2002 season.

Jordan still has a great impression of the Rockets, in 94 and 95 years when he first retired, Olajuwon led the Rockets to take the opportunity to win two consecutive championships, which shows that the Rockets do have championship genes.

But even so, Jordan and the Rockets still only signed a one-year contract, after all, Jordan really wants to see what level Yao Ming, Parker, and Battier are highly respected by Lin Cheng.

If these three people don't have any strength and the Rockets can't make the playoffs, it means that the Rockets can't bring it, and he will naturally climb another branch, but if the three really have the strength, the Rockets show their ambition to win the championship, and Jordan will renew his contract with the Rockets at that time.

"Michael, it's our honor to choose to join the Rockets when you come back, and it's a pleasure to work together!" Facing the god of basketball, even Dawson, as the general manager, couldn't be calm, holding Jordan's palm, excited.

Then Jordan exchanged a few pleasantries with Dawson and Tomjanovich, and finally Lin Cheng proposed: "Michael, let's go meet your teammates, I think they will jump with excitement if they learn that they will fight side by side with you in the new season." ”

Jordan also laughed: "I'm also very interested in my new teammates. ”

……

The home stadium of the Rockets is the OPPO Center, and Lin Cheng is in charge of the Rockets, and the title of the Rockets' home stadium will naturally no longer be the Toyota Center that embarrasses Chinese Rocket fans.

At this time on the court, the players of the Rockets are doing intensive training before the season, just because of the departure of the golden guns, coupled with the verbal criticism of the media and fans, the atmosphere of the players who do not feel any hope in the new season is very low, and the newly recruited Yao Ming, Parker, and Battier are also very restrained and dare not speak loudly under this low pressure.

"Guys, everyone come over here and see who's coming!"

Coming to the court, Tomjanovic was the boss of the matter, clapping his hands and shouting at the players, coaches and all the staff to gather in the middle of the court.

The players have been training for several hours, and they are already very tired, and they all rushed over weakly when they heard the words, but they ...... Wait, wait, how is that tall bald head behind the manager so familiar?

Oh my God, could it be him?

"Michael, Jordan!" Finally, a die-hard Jordan fan screamed.

"What? is it really Michael Jordan?"

"It's impossible, isn't Jordan the president of the Wizards, how did he get here?"

"Quiet!" Tomjanovic is the old coach of the NBA, and the popular phrase "never underestimate the heart of a champion" is his famous saying, and under his reprimand, the audience suddenly fell silent.

"Let me introduce to you, this is Michael Jordan, as if it were fake. In the new season, Jordan will lead everyone to the playoffs and even the championship as the captain of the Rockets, and everyone applauds and welcomes!" Tomjanovic introduced to everyone with great joy.

"Oh my God!

"Long live Jordan!"

"Long live Team Rocket!"

The players who had been lifeless before were all excited, and many players even raised their hands and bent down deeply to make a gesture of worship to Jordan, which shows how high Jordan's status is in the hearts of the players.

This is the respect for the king, and as the god of basketball, Jordan deserves this respect.

"Michael, aren't you going to say something to your teammates?" Tomjanovic laughed.

Standing on the basketball court, Jordan is a well-deserved king, his eyes swept over every player, and solemnly said: "I, Michael, are back and lead you to win the championship!"

"Michael Jordan!"

"Overall Champion!"

"Michael Jordan!"

"Overall Champion!"

The players happily surrounded Jordan, as if Jordan had led them to win the championship, lifted Jordan high and threw it into the sky, and even the restrained Yao Ming showed a smile exactly like the famous emoji on the Internet in later generations.

……

Recently, the Rockets have been sprayed extremely badly by the American media, and only the Washington media and the Memphis media are thanking the Rockets, because the Wizards who got Francis and the Grizzlies who got Mobley felt that they had picked up a big bargain, so they specially held a grand press conference to welcome the arrival of the Golden Twin Guns.

The Wizards manager excitedly said: "We got an All-Star point guard, the Wizards will definitely rise in the new season, and fans can enjoy the playoffs." ”

The Grizzlies' manager made the same statement, apparently by getting Mobley far beyond their imagination and surprising them.

The American media was stunned by the Rockets' brain-dead trade, and the Rockets sent away the golden twin guns Francis and Mobley in the backcourt, but in exchange for Yao Ming, Parker, and Battier, three rookies, this is simply a model of exchanging gold for shit!

So Carol Dawson, the general manager of the Rockets, was unlucky, and was dissed by the media and fans in turn, and even the team owner Lin Cheng also suffered, and even radical Rockets fans played the slogan "Lin Cheng go back to China".

Many people think that the reason why the Rockets sent away the golden double guns in exchange for Yao Ming was to make room for Yao Ming's position as the boss and make the Rockets a Chinese team.

Their speculation is not unreasonable, after Yao Ming joined the Rockets, the NBA reached an agreement with CCTV, and CCTV will broadcast all the games of the Rockets in the new season.

So in order to boycott the Rockets in the new season, die-hard fans of the Rockets who have been buying season tickets for the team have refunded their tickets, saying that they will protest against the Rockets' brain-dead trade by boycotting them.

Then, all the media, all the teams, all the fans...... , all stunned!

At 14:40 on July 14, US time, the Rockets officially announced that Michael Jordan would join with an annual salary of $30 million, and Michael Jordan will lead the team to the 2001-2002 season as the captain of the Rockets in the new season.

The media was in an uproar!

Michael Jordan, the god of basketball, is back and has joined the Houston Rockets!(https:)
