Just like we often see many people evaluating a book, first scolding the quality of the characters in the book from head to toe, and then coming to the conclusion that the book is too poorly written, especially for martial arts.

According to this logic, books such as "The True Story of Ah Q", "Old Man Gao", and "Hamlet" are undoubtedly extremely clumsy works.

The level of reading of these people is still stuck at the level of primary school.

There is no doubt that many of Gu Daxia's works are difficult to get their favor, and it is not surprising that "The Peerless Twins" has become Gu Daxia's best work.

Perhaps it was destined by God, but the task of opening a new chapter in martial arts fell on Master Jin.

There is no doubt that Master Jin inherited and carried forward Liang Yusheng's style to a large extent.

But not only did Master Jin not have the knowledge of history and writing, but he also had something that the latter did not have: a rich imagination and a deep knowledge of traditional Chinese culture.

These in themselves have already determined that he is destined to be higher than Liang Yusheng in martial arts creation.

What's more, his environment is much better than Liang's: Liang Yusheng's new martial arts have made a large number of readers pay attention to martial arts works.

If Master Jin has not completely let go of his hands and feet in "Book Sword Enmity", we can no longer see the slightest trace of the old in "Blue Blood".

Master Kim's characters are undoubtedly unreal.

This inauthenticity lies not in the external image of the characters, but in their inner world. This inauthenticity also lies not in the absolute non-existentiality of their inner mind, but in the incompleteness of their inner world.

As I said earlier, Master Jin's ability to write untrue is perfect, and no one can compare.

Character is not mentioned for the time being, but you have to accept the strength of others.

It is difficult to describe the difficulty of depicting unreal people as if they were real.

Abundant knowledge, extraordinary imagination, keen observation, accurate judgment and profound literary skills are indispensable here.

It can be said that Master Jin and Gu Daxia are definitely martial arts masters who go hand in hand.

And with the above points, Master Jin was able to jump out of the category of second-rate writers, thus entering the ranks of writers, and becoming a representative of "bold martial arts" literature.

Otherwise, even if his story is ten times more brilliant than Wolongsheng, Zhuge Qingyun and others, it is not much different from them in essence.

So, how did Master Jin do this?

Let's take a look at Gu Daxia's works first.

In the pen of Gu Daxia, it seems that all entities are illusory.

Illusory time, illusory environments, fictitious characters, fictitious events, but it is in these illusory entities that we see the soul of a real person, the character of a real person, the feelings and pain of a real person.

A decisive criterion for this choice is that it must conform to the reader's psychology and be selected to the reader's heart.

Here, Master Jin is undoubtedly experienced, and years of journalist work is undoubtedly a strong capital.

He is good at observing and summarizing, and is good at grasping reality through essence.

Choosing a hero is a certainty, and the hero that no one wants is a badass.

But there are many kinds of heroes, what kind of hero to choose?

To be honest, in this regard, I believe that almost everyone does not know where to choose.

And Master Jin chose a national hero, which should probably be related to the historical background of his conception, and may also be related to the social situation at that time.

This conclusion is based on the understanding that even people who fanatically like Jin Yong may not necessarily like the identity of this national hero, and calm people, putting aside the rational thinking of literature itself, although they like the works of Master Jin, it is difficult to accept the identity of a national hero emotionally.

Speaking of which, I have to talk about the strength between the two!

Master Jin Gu Daxia collided head-on.

In terms of personal ability, this quality, including all aspects, should be as close as possible to the average person in reality, to be precise, the reader; second, the individual's speech and deeds must conform to the traditional moral standards of the people; third, the individual must do great things that ordinary people want to do but cannot do.

These three points complement each other and are indispensable.

I believe that it is the establishment of these three conditions that has laid a solid, so to speak, foundation for Master Kim's works to enter people's ideal world and be accepted by people.

The functions of these three conditions are: first, they establish a heroic image, second, such a hero makes people feel close to themselves, and third, he dispels people's disappointment with real heroes by providing them with an ideal hero.

So, what is not true is not the same as what is false.

Because such a figure does not do not exist, in fact, he exists, he exists in people's hearts.

Like Bao Gong, this person doesn't actually exist, but you must not say that this character is fake.

In fact, he is one of the most successful figures in the classical literature of our country.

However, it is easy to understand that this image was not a complete or perfect image from the beginning.

Thankfully, Master Kim hasn't gotten to the point of getting dizzy in order to respond to the reader.

The reason why the works of Wo Longsheng and others only have plots and no characters is largely because they are very ignorant of the times and vainly try to create a perfect hero image in their minds.

Master Kim's rich social experience and historical knowledge told him that such a character is difficult to establish.

However, this is just a rational thinking, and he can completely ignore it, and he can create a successful character with the techniques discussed below.

But a writer's sanity and sense of responsibility told him: you can't do that!

Again, this is a contradiction.

Contradiction is the driving force behind the development of things.

Without contradiction, there is no way to achieve an ancient dragon, and similarly, without this contradiction, there is no way to achieve a gold master.

So Master Jin came up with a way to make up for this shortcoming.

For example, Master Jin has his eyes on the heroine.

This is enough to explain why the girls in Master Jin's pen are always so ice and snow smart, so that they are only teenagers, and their adaptability, ability to deal with things, organizational ability and even far-sightedness are directly following those men who are born in famous families, have received higher education, and have been born and died in the rivers and lakes for more than ten or twenty years.

It's a compensation.

Because Master Jin is soberly aware that the mediocre abilities of the men he has created are impossible to achieve the cause he wants to achieve, and they obviously have to achieve this kind of cause.

Is this the sorrow of the heroes in his pen, or the sorrow of Master Jin himself?

Of course, he can also take another approach, which is to devise enough coincidences and miracles to help his protagonist succeed.

In fact, he did exactly that in "The Hero's Journey", and the result was that the book was almost reduced to a first- or second-rate work.

To be honest, if it weren't for the chivalrous character in his couplet, Li Xusheng himself would not have necessarily concluded that the book was the work of a second-rate writer, despite the similarity of the writing style.

So the method adopted by Master Jin is wise.

Both the Chinese adage that "a woman is half a man" and the Western legend that "a woman is a man's rib" prove the viability of this approach.

As a result, this approach has been successful.

At the same time, from this point, it is not difficult to see that the heroine of Master Jin's pen is destined to be unreal from the beginning.

And that's not all.

Here, Master Jin is once again faced with an extremely dangerous problem.

The question was dangerous, and one carelessness would undo all his efforts.

The root of the problem still lies with the reader.

It is undeniable that the vast majority of readers of martial arts are men, and the image of such a heroine is likely to be shattered by the torrent of machismo, and it is not difficult to imagine how tragic the ending of the whole work would be if this situation occurred.

At this critical moment, Master Kim once again showed his wisdom in turning the tide.

A sensible measure was taken decisively.

It was also due to the adoption of this measure that Master Jin lost something while retaining a large group of readers.

While we gain something, we inevitably lose something else. This is one of the helplessness of human beings.

To this day, when we look back at Master Jin's gains and losses, we can no longer judge whether he gained more or lost more, nor can we judge whether we gained more or lost more.
