By chance, Monk Sha met a man in white, and he wanted to kill him.

This man was Guanyin Bodhisattva, and instead he subdued Monk Sha and told him to put down the butcher's knife and turn back.

Since then, Monk Sha has taken refuge in Buddhism and eventually became a generation of monks.

After becoming a Buddha, Monk Sha meditated on his own mistakes, repented with Buddhism, and continued to do good deeds to make up for his past sins.

The necklace formed by the series of 1,000 skulls was originally very resentful and monstrous.

But with the Buddhahood of Monk Sha, these thousand deceased people listened to Monk Sha chanting scriptures every day, and Buddha nature was actually born.

This necklace is called the Thousand Buddha Necklace!

Of course, Monk Sha is a legendary figure, and like Guanyin Bodhisattva, he is ethereal, there is no such thing at all, historical research.

However, the principle of the Thousand Buddha necklace has been used by Buddhism and passed down from generation to generation.

And in the Tang Dynasty, there was a monk in Xuanye who once went to Tianzhu to seek the true scriptures of Buddhism.

When Xuan Ye passed by the Lancang River in Yunnan, he found that there was a local bandit bully who specialized in killing people and plundering goods.

The skulls of those who were slain, soaked in medicinal wine by the bullies, slowly shrank over time.

In order to increase his ferocity, the bully wore his skull and made it into a necklace.

Later, the bully was influenced by Xuan Ye and went to Tianzhu together, and in the Tianzhu Holy Land Da Lei Yin Temple, he sought the true scriptures, not returned to Chang'an, Tang Dynasty.

In the past 20 years of scripture study, the bully has washed away all the lead, returned to my Buddha, and repented of his past sins.

Monk Xuanye, on the other hand, comforted the bullies and used the story of Monk Sha becoming a Buddha to motivate the bullies.

So, the bully called himself a sand monk, and repented in Longhu Mountain and founded the Tianlei Temple.

And the bully's necklace has become the treasure of Tianlei Temple, known as the Thousand Buddha Necklace!

From the Tang Dynasty to modern times, although there are many high-ranking monks in Leiyin Temple, no one has urged a thousand Buddha necklaces.

But the monks of Leiyin Temple in the past generations will hang a skull necklace around their necks.
