6.8 Idle after the fifth watch

The other day it was all about what books I was reading, or my previous books.

Today we're going to talk about something else.

Because for a long time, people have always asked me how to write so that people can read it.

I've talked a lot about patience and sincerity, but it doesn't seem to work well.

I'm going to talk about this to you today.

What is sincerity, that is, when you write, or after you finish writing, have you ever thought about whether what you write is really intended to be shown to readers and friends, or do you just think that they will say yes when I write it.

If you say I really want to show them.

What is action? Action is patience!

What is patience, save the manuscript!

Because none of us are master writers, even if we have an outline, there may be some problems in the middle of what we write that is not in line with the previous period.

For example, if you write and write, you find that the character should actually be a little bit biased this way, but that will lead to a revision of the outline. So what to do?

In many cases, in order not to keep the outline, I just wrote it according to the original.

My personal suggestion is to have a manuscript, which is also my personal habit, and the degree of revision of what is written before it is finally uploaded to the Internet, for me personally, is about the lowest 10%, and the highest is 20%.

But there must be a modification!

Why? Because after 300,000 words, if you look back at the characters in your manuscript and compare them with the previous events and characters, you will find that there are many deficiencies in the front.

If you've already uploaded your ...... in a hurry Sorry, you've lost the opportunity to make changes.

What if you didn't upload it? OK!

But if you write 600,000 words, or even 1,000,000 words! When you look back, will you find a new question? The answer is yes!

You would think that if I had dealt with it there and another character had done it, even though the story line would have been adjusted passively, and the whole story had to be adjusted by about 10 percent of the word, which is about 100,000 words, a lot of people would have given up on adjusting it.

That's patience! Deposit, a million words, two million words...... Or even three million words!

I still have about 2 million words of manuscripts in my hand, and everyone is very happy to hear it! Damn! Update it quickly!

I'm sorry, but I really can't come out! Why? Because it's still going to be overhauled!

I've counted it, and the manuscript has reached today, and when I look at the place where Taichu said that he shed tears, there are four or five times. Some are moved, some are hurt...... It's all different.

However, the first version actually did not have this effect, and I re-read my manuscript every day, and then found many, many shortcomings, and had to revise it again...... I feel that when I first wrote it, there were many things that I still couldn't think about enough.

You may ask, why do you still say Kawen when you have a manuscript.

It's really a Kavin, because of a manuscript of about 60,000 words, maybe you only see about 50,000 words in the end, or it may be about 70,000 words, and the fluctuation is almost so big, how to revise it is actually more difficult than how to write it brand new, because there is a trade-off...... So one day I'm going to be Kavin again...... Sorry, it's not that I'm pretending, it's that I've really been weighing between trade-offs for too long.

It is only after writing and revising that my writing skills can be improved. You may not know that I have almost 4 million words in my writing, but you can only see less than 3 million words.

Why? Because of revisions! I'm really much better now than when I was writing about it, and I hope that one day I can write something that I don't need to revise.

Some people may say,, don't you really mean, I recently completed a simplified short story, I really don't brag, I wrote it for more than two years, a total of 170,000 words.

The scrapped manuscript is about 100,000 words, because I kept revising every piece of dialogue, adjusting each character's personality, and pushing it to the extreme.

If I could, I would have liked to have been able to do this, but I still didn't have that much time for me at the beginning, so to speak, I had achieved the ultimate I could do at the moment.

Now, if you want to write, or are writing, and you haven't made it out yet, if you still want to ask me how to write well in the future, then do the two things I said first, and be sincere and patient.

At a minimum, you need to have a 500,000-word manuscript so that you know how to match it before and after. If you don't even have the patience for this, I really don't know what to say.

Of course, you will also say that there are many great people who do not do this, I can only say that they are very talented, really awesome, if you also have such a good talent, then please, but don't come and ask me how to write.

My approach is stupid, but it works, and most importantly...... This method can improve your writing.

Tomorrow, let's talk about my other book, which will take a few days, to talk about my ideas and how patient I am when creating. I'll give an example. I'll also give examples of other authors I've met.

Last but not least!
